I just wanted to leave a quick review. I started using Freshskin during my maternity leave in 2022 when I began learning how to make my own DIY skincare and haircare products. I’ve been using their products ever since, and the experience has been amazing. The quality has been consistent, and my whole family benefits from what I create. Our skin has truly been well looked after.

I notice from another review Freshskin say the negative was because they hadn't responded to the email within hours. (Brush-off.) I had a postage problem with an order before xmas. I contacted Freshskin,(It's legally their duty to sort that out.) and got no response. However, finally the items did arrive. I never did get a reply. That was an order on ebay. Last week I ordered directly from their website. Coal Tar fragrance oil. It isn't Coal Tar. It smells like some kind of caramel. I know this because a few months before I bought a 10ml bottle and that was correct. I contacted Freshskin about this about 3/4 days ago, and no response as yet. I have spent a lot of money over a few years with them, but now with clearly no customer service when things do go wrong I find I have to look elsewhere. If I get a reasonable response to my review I will happily edit it.

Edition to below comment. Personal saying 'love' to leave negative comments, not professional. And they don't address the ebay purchase back before xmas. Funny that?

Please note: They have now edited their first response. I contacted them before the items were finally delivered. It is the legal responsibility of any company to contact their courier. It is the companies legal duty to ensure items purchased arrive and in good time. Royal Mail say to contact the company (Seller) in the event of a problem on their website. Please also note that I have kept correspondence on both orders and then can prove all I have said is correct.

Wide selection of products, very good quality, fast and free delivery. Haven't been let down so far :)

Excellent company, great oils , have been using them for years. Have tried other companies but always end up going back to Freshskin. Great quality and great value 😊

Lovely scents strong and last well in my candles

The OUD and musk did not give out the smell of either and I have bought before these bottles maybe were old or mis-labelled representing a total different scent

supplied the materials I ordered but to a totally incorrect address - I only learnt this when I received notification from the delivery company that the delivery had been made to Northampton - I have never lived in Northampton and dont know anyone who lived there - the address is nothing to do with me ! have taken this up with the company but very negative response - I HAVE JUST SEEN YOUR REPLY - i ASKED FOR YOU TO TAKE THIS UP WITH EBAY ! THEY WILL ONLY ACCEPT CORRESPONDANCE FROM THE SENDER - AS PREVIOUSLY REQUESTED PLEASE CAN YOU CONTACT EBAY IF THEY PROVIDED THE INCORRECT ADDRESS !!

Had what I wanted at a good price and even had a choice of size and as was one small item was free postage.

Great service and value for money. I use Freshskin for all my oils. The website is very easy to navigate and use. Delivery is quick as well. Will be back!

The ordering, purchasing and delivery of my product was easy, and the product is as good as advertised.

It arrived when it should have. I used it to make body lotion. Lovely product and good value.

It takes a lot for me to take time on a review, but sometimes I got so frustrated at how people think a business should be run I have to let it all out.
I don't do any reviews immediately after buying. Selling a product or service to someone and taking their money is easy, any company can do that. What matters is afterwards, especially when there's an issue. How it's dealt with defines the good from the bad, and this company isn't very good at all.
I ordered a litre of lemon oil in mid December, and a litre of lavender oil arrived instead. I checked the contents and went to contact Freshskin immediately as I was in a rush for the product.
No phones. They do not want to talk to their customers, Why no phones? 'We are internet only with no shop so we don't have a phone'. That's the biggest load of rubbish ever. That translates as 'We don't want our customers calling'
So they have one email address instead, which they don't reply to.
I emailed on the day of my delivery, then again a few days later via the contact page, then again a few days later via email. No reply to any, and no other way of getting in touch.
So 5th January I decided to comment about the lack of service on their social media posts and funnily enough, I was contacted the same day (vias social media), and my comments were deleted.
They then tried to claim their email system had some bugs. They also claimed they had absolutely no record of me contacting them ever. Funny how the sales notification reached you fine?
If that's your only form of communication then you better make sure it's 100% working!
I was then offered the incorrect goods at half price to keep. I don't want it, I want the correct stuff I actually ordered,
This company doesn't rectify it's own mistakes, they insist you re-purchase your original item and send the other back for a refund (which I'm guessing will not be quick and efficient).
They said 'We do not send replacements'.
Even for your own mis-pick errors? How misguided are you guys when it comes to customer service?
It doesn't matter if you get problems, it's how you deal with them that counts, and you deal with it in an awful way.
A well resolved customer issue can gain you a customer for life, as you give them reassurance and confidence.
Your way of treating customers and resolving issues does the exact opposite, I will never order from you again as you do your best to avoid communication, and don't offer resolutions in the customers favour, and try and make your mistake my issue and my problem. I'm guessing from the other bad reviews on here you will do will defend you practices and make out I'm somehow at fault.
If you had a phone line which was answered, the issue could have been resolved in 30 seconds on the day it happened, Now why on earth wouldn't you want to do that!?!
