It was easy to book for my holiday in Greece with this company. Tinos was the destination I chose from their hotels.
Well organized transfers with professional staff.
Our hotel representative was very professional and made my holiday a wonderful experience.
I met some lovely people and had fun with them.
Friendship Travel is highly recommend.

First time with Friendship Travel and Books in Places and I was very satisfied in all respects. Booking arrangements by telephone were easy with friendly helpful staff. The hotel, Elounda Palm in Crete was wonderful. I was in a classic room which was clean, well furnished and comfortable with a lovely view of the distant sea. The pool and bar area were clean, beautifully landscaped and comfortable with plenty of loungers and seating and shady areas. We ate at the hotel restaurant on 3 occasions and I wasn’t madly impressed by the à la carte menu and we preferred to go out for dinner in the evenings to tavernas in the town. Elounda is a lively place now and about 25 minutes walk from the hotel. We did a boat trip to Spinalonga which I enjoyed but there are so many visitors going there now I think it is a bit too touristy with boats queuing to drop off and pick up passengers so it would be sensible to go later in the day.

Friendship Travel to Corfu so called House Parties are a rip off. Colum the MD is using second class accommodation and describing them as 3 Star. I was put into a room that I would describe as a Backpacker’s room with an air conditioner. Room had no windows, I complained and was told the glass panel in the upper section of the door was a window. I left the next morning and paid €600 for the remaining 6 nights of my holiday in a real 3 star apartment. No compensation was told I got what I paid for. No dressing table or chairs in the room there wasn’t room. Brochure shows beautiful rooms. Three beds in a room, only room for two. An 80’ backpackers room a con job.

Friendly staff who answer your questions and take you though the booking to book your seats on the flight if you want to pick them, great service.

I have been travelling with Friendship Travel on a regular basis for over 20 years so that gives a clue as to what I think of them. Whenever I make a booking the office staff are extremely friendly & helpful. They will answer any queries you may have in making a booking in an efficient manner. The overseas staff, hosts/reps will always do what they can to make your holiday a good one. Obviously, things do go wrong occasionally but on the whole I find Friendship Travel an excellent company

I recently stayed at the Lena Mare Boutique Hotel in the north of Corfu, with Friendship Travel. If you want some peace and quiet in comfortable surroundings, this is the place for you. Very friendly and efficient staff, good food and service. And excellent hairdryers too! Acharavi is a real village, varied shops, not all tourist traps. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Arrangements made by FT all worked well. A return visit is already scheduled.

I have holidayed with Friendship Travel Three times and have always had very good service. The booking process is easy and the confirmation paperwork is prompt and complete. They contact just before the holiday to ensure that you have everything that you need and that you are happy with everything which is a very re-assuring. The hotels and holidays are just as described and on my return from my holiday with them,I promptly booked again. So glad I found this company.

Another great stay in this family run hotel. It only has 19 rooms but is a very clean no frills hotel run by a lovely family and great for singles. Julie-Ann the FT rep is always on hand to sort any issues, from greeting us at the airport to waving us goodbye. I will be back again

From start to finish I couldn’t fault the service provided by Friendship travel. Julie Ann was their representative who was actively looking for all arrivals at the airport pick up point. The transfer to the hotel was straightforward The hotel rooms were very well maintained throughout my stay and check in was easy with assistance provided to get cases to rooms. The ample sized pool was located in a beautiful garden with a plentiful supply of chair and sun beds with shade provided if needed. The bar/dining area was a great meeting place which accommodates a full contingent of guests. Breakfast was a combination of Cereals, bread , jam and plenty of fruit. Evening meals served were traditional Turkish foods and were delicious. There were activities on offer each day but the cable car and the day long boat trip were my favourites. When food wasn’t provided by the hotel we went to a good array of restaurants, all with great food. The nearest town is only a short walk away and taxis are very cheap. The family that run the Forever Hotel were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for them. Overall, my holiday was great and the experience was fantastic.

Just a three star because of the following. The flight, hotal, staff and other travellers were great. However, the hotel was in the middle of nowhere with hills all around. I am no longer young and found trying to walk anwhere difficult which spoilt my holiday (I was not alone with this feeling). There was absolutely no detail or warning of this and obviously assumption was made that we "didn't need to know". I will not book holidays with this company again.

After posting this, Friendship Travel wrote a replay stating that there were views of the sea. Having spent a week there, I am pretty certain that there were not (and my eyesight is very good). I think they must have been confusing it with another hotel.

I have used Friendship Travel (FT) numerous times, and each time they have beaten expectations. I have used other companies but none have beaten them on price, reliability in resort and quality of service

Couldn't recommend this company more. Absolutely cracking people to deal with. Nothing was a problem. Recently booked a trip to Portugal last month. Everything was smooth from start to finish. So much so I came back and am returning with my own group next April. Well done everyone, thank you all for a great service.

my first holiday with Friendship Travel and I shall be looking to go with them again. The experience they gave me of Bali was amazing. The hostess was first rate and even took the trouble to find me on the outward flight.
All three hotels and destinations where excellent. The office staff were very helpful too and made the booking etc easy. To be recommended

It was a more personal experience with less than I expected in the group which by no means was negative. The staff were very friendly especially Maria and Youssef - it was great talking to them and they made us feel welcomed. Also was fun having tea with Sharim( I think that was his name). It would be even better to have the time to be 5 days for the opportunity to visit the Souks again. Altogether was a great experience of culture and history.

Went to Casa Rosa on a painting retreat. Very good. Lovely villa and hosts Sara and Marcos make you feel very welcome. My second visit there. Will definitely be back

I stayed at Casa Rosa, olhao as part of a painting retreat. Friendship travel organised absolutely everything and their customer service was brilliant. The hotel was exactly as advertised and such a special place to stay. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in, and I’ve slept in a lot! The food was fantastic and the staff outstanding. The tutor (Julie Ford) knew the team and area well which made such a difference to our experience. I would highly recommend using this company and rebooked immediately on my return for another retreat.

Just returned from my fourth Friendship Travel holiday, a very enjoyable stay at the Aquamare Beach Hotel in Paphos, Cyprus. Good, friendly crowd and an excellent host Yiannis who arranged everything for us. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with every amenity. Definitely worth paying a little extra for a sea view, the sunsets are beautiful and it’s nice to sit on the balcony in the sunshine. Booking was straightforward and pre-holiday info was excellent.

My first Friendship travel holiday. A fantastic experience. A painting holiday in Olhao.
From booking to arriving was straight forward and easy. A week before departure a phone call to make sure all was well. A zoom call ( organised by our fabulous tutor Julie) familiarised us all with each other and Julie set up a WhatsApp group and emailed us a list of materials we would need for our watercolour week. Arriving at Faro airport I was met by a driver who whisked me to the hotel a short drive away. The small hotel was very inviting and coffee and cake was available all day long. We meet our tutor Julie an hour before dinner which was in the hotel on a long table. The food through out the stay was excellent. I felt very looked after, we worked as a group in the classroom, sketching in the town - Julie was always on hand with advice and encouragement. I think the whole group has rebooked for next year.

This was my first time using Friendship Travel and Im extremely pleased with the service. I live in Germany and sent an email enquiry which was immediately responded to by Helen. That prompt response made me confident that someone was indeed going to assist me with my travel plans. Within a few days connecting flights were organized and the booking and payment process was easy and efficient. Maybe I've just become used to poor service but this interaction restored my faith in humanity. I'll definitely be using Friendship service again. Thank You!
