My wife and i were moved to Furnley House after they bought out our existing FA's business. Their internal systems simply are not up to scratch with incorrect docs being uploaded to the portal which is very confusing, as are their projections which never seem to tally or make sense. Even worse, our advisor transferred funds out of my account without my consent and against my wishes. They did accept their failings in a letter and offered a paltry sum as compensation, if I would sign a letter, confirming that i wouldn’t take further action. Sadly, before this we had referred a friend and we were supposed to receive a gift voucher for doing so, this never arrived and we had to chase that some months later. I qould not recommend Furnley House, but knowing what I know now, I couldn’t imagine recommending any financial management company. These companies rely on your lack of knowledge and their boasts that their 'managed funds' will deliver better results than others are usually complete fiction. Go to Vanguard or similar, get identical or better performance and save yourself a small fortune in fees.

Prior to making the move to Furnley House, my thoughts regarding my incumbent and previous advisors was that their advice and decision making was more about their income from my money, rather than them looking after my interests and making money for me. I looked at FH as they were recommended to me and quite frankly, I haven't look back and would most certainly recommend them.
My situation was somewhat complex at the time of switching financial advisor as my pension was offshore. Never-the-less FH and in particular Jon Kirby worked tirelessly in providing sound advice in terms of strategy in how to get my pension back to the UK effectively and financially in terms of where my fund should be invested and at what cost and all this was done free of charge for almost a year until FH took over the management of my account.
Since then I have benefitted from impressive fund growth, significant reduction in charges and regular contact whether planned or unplanned as they are always available to discuss any concerns with the markets, because with them you can take a keen interest in your investments or just sit back and let them get on with it.
All in all, I cannot praise FH enough for the work they have done for me.

Furnley House realised our lifetime dreams which was amazing.Previously I had been trying to get 4 pensions put into 1 pot but no one would listen or help so movement was slow & frustrating. In addition my pension arrangements were complicated & I really didn’t have a clue where to start. Paul listened to what was happening in our life’s, understood what we wanted to do & discussed financial planning for the future. After agreeing our terms, 4 pensions were put into 1 pot & our tax free cash was released. This then allowed us to buy our holiday home which the whole aging family will use.
My pension review is also underway and once complete will mean we will become debt free and the majority of mortgage repaid. I then plan to retire in 3 years rather than 5 years which will be spent with my husband in our holiday home. His health prognosis has been mixed so by being able to spend time together is really valuable . Thankyou

I have over the years dealt with a number of financial advisors, some of which have been particularly good, BUT, none compare to the service and suppprt I have had from Furnley House, either during my move to them or since becoming a client of theirs. I cannot praise the team there enough for the efforts they put in to make me feel that they are on my side and not just out to make their commission.

Out of the blue I have today received an email from Furnley House inviting me “to complete my nomination” for some award. I have never had any previous contact with this organisation and I don’t know anything about the supposed award. I don’t know how they have obtained my email address and this makes me very uncomfortable. Is it a scam? Do they buy mailing lists ? I don’t know.
