There is absolutely no better team of instructors to teach you game development and 3D graphic design. With courses on 2D, 3D, RPG, Git, Blender, Character Creation and even motivational courses like how to get a job in the game industry, they have everything you could want.

They teach comprehensive courses that deliver all the skills you need to make your first games and then develop them into more complex end results. With a sense of humor included the courses are easy to follow and fun to take.

If you buy any game development courses make sure they are GameDev.tv courses, you won't be sorry you did.

Unlike many other online courses they teach the fundamentals not just "copy this code and you'll make the next fortnite"

There is also the added advantage that they improve and update their courses based on user feedback and major changes in the software.

GameDev is an excellent community full of people competent and helpfull for the beginners as well as veteran programmers. I did recommend it to everyone determined to learn and have fun with the jockes on Rick and Ben :)

I have only taken 2 1/2 of their courses and I have been blown away at the level of quality and education they provide. I have backed their future Math for games kickstarter and I have plenty of their courses yet to finish, looking forward to every single one of them.

I have taken other courses and most of them remind me of your average YouTube tutorial, which is ok but you get them free on YouTube. I had been using Unity and doing game dev stuff on and off since the early 2000's. When I first bought a GameDev.tv course (the 3d course)(2018) I learned so much so fast. The way they explain things reminds me of formal university, they have quizes, discussion boards, they design their content around a spiral syllabus, and much more.

My 2 cents, if you really want to dabble in the dark arts of Game Development buy a GameDev.tv course and start your journey proper!

Honestly, these guys know there stuff! I have never taken any courses like the ones GameDev.tv provide! They care about their community which reflects in their content! They have upgraded most if not all of their courses for free to reflect the needs of their community but also the changes with the software provided. 1000% recommended!

Genuinely Excellent Experience
I would describe my experience with this group as genuine. These people really do work hard and put a lot of care into their courses with the express intent on making their audience into game makers. With courses that cover a variety of different parts of game development, including programmers, artists, engine users, and so many more along the way. It really doesn't feel like one of those cash grab courses that just try to make a simple course and then leave it alone, these people constantly update their courses to match the latest versions of the most popular free to use engines and programs, and for that, I am honestly grateful. If you are looking to become a game developer, or perhaps a game artist or just wanting to know how to get into the video game industry, I can't really recommend these people enough. Quality courses, excellent instructors that are easy to understand and engaging. Highly recommended taking one if not all of their courses.

I've taken a number of courses from GameDev.tv and - to be honest - I just keep coming back for more. The presentation team are enthusiastic, extremely knowledgeable, entertaining and ultra-keen on making sure the Udemy student has the best chance of learning and practicing new skills.

It's clear that a huge amount of effort has gone into creating these courses, which are top of the line education resources, but then the team puts the same amount of effort into engaging with the students through a multitude of channels, as well as another massive chunk of effort in updating the courses on a regular basis.

I'm hard-pressed to think of any other education team, online or traditional, that puts in so much effort or creates courses anywhere near the superb quality of GameDev.TV

I've had a blast learning new skills with GameDev.TV and I know I'll keep learning as long as they keep putting out new and updated courses.
