Fikk ny klokke

Min 2 år gamle garmin fenix 6s fikk plutselig batteritid på 4timer. Jeg kontaktet kundeservice og sendte den inn. Uken etter kom en ny fenix 7s i posten, da de ikke kunne reparer min. Dette stemmer med det jeg har hørt fra andre, garmin er utrolig bra på kundeservice

Garmin S70 Burns your Wrist

S70 golf watch.

Beware this product burns your skin, I’ve been left with scarring on both wrists.

The burn lines up directly with the light sensors under the device.

Garmin support deny there is a problem and have closed the chats online. There are numerous examples of this happening.

Jeg kjøpte meg Garmin Venu 3s i januar…

Jeg kjøpte meg Garmin Venu 3s i januar 2024. Nå - 5 mnd senere så har klokken begynt å tulle. Når jeg våkner, så har allerede klokka registrert hele dagen allerede.. Har sendt screenshot til Garmin, men de ser ikke problemet.... Svaret jeg fikk var: På skjermbildene du sendte oss, ser alt ut til å være i orden. De inneholder informasjon fra forrige dag og fortsettelsen av den nåværende dagen. Det viser hvilke tider og hvor lenge du har sovet.

Så dagen er ikke registrert, men den samler løpende informasjon om Body Battery, stress også videre.

- Skjermbildet jeg sendte var tatt kl. 13 på formiddagen, men på klokka så var det registreringer fram til midnatt.. Den kunne også fortelle meg at jeg hadde en sykkeltur i vente kl. 22.

Don’t buy Garmin - Fenix Chronos no repair / service option

I have a Garmin Fenix Chronos, it’s 7 years old but was expensive approx £900, bought as a special birthday gift. I’m having issues with the battery, contacted Garmin Support (online chat), they say they don’t do repairs! and as this isn’t a current model, can’t exchange! Instead I can have a 30% discount off a new watch. I have 2 issues with this, firstly I chose the Fenix Chronos because it has a metal case and looks like a “real” watch, all the current models have a cheap plastic case. Secondly, why would I invest more money with a company which clearly doesn’t value their existing customers, won’t I be in the same position in another 6 or 7 years? I would willingly pay for a repair or service, they just don’t offer it!

My advice, look elsewhere for your smart watch.

Dårlig kundebehandling og rekamasjonsvilkår

Kjøpte Garmin epix 2 pro sapphire sportsklokke i jun2023. Oppdaget sprekk i skjermen for en stund tilbake uten å vite hvor lenge den har vært der da den knapt var synlig. skjermen er delt midt på av en gjennomgående sprekk som ikke kun ses i noen vinkler ved grundig undersøkelse.
Klokken har ikke vært utsatt for unormale ytre påvirkninger og har ingen synlige hakk eller riper som kan forklare skaden.
sendte også med mange bilder som viser at klokken er pent brukt.
Kjøpte den dyrere sapphire utgaven nettopp fordi den skal være med robust en andre skjermer. Har hatt klokker med slike skjermer i 20 år og brukt i krevende forhold militært og sivilt uten å få en ripe.
Forklarte situasjonen for Garmin på tlf og på mail til support og fikk til svar at de ikke dekket ytre skader men at jeg i tilfellet måtte betale 3700kr for reparasjon. Sendte mail tilbake og tilbudte å sende varen inn for en grundigere vurdering. fikk da samme svar tilbake om at jeg måtte dekke skaden selv.
Skuffende når jeg har vært kunde i 20 år og i 2023 alene brukte ca45000kr på garminprodukter. har blandt annet navigasjon til båt, hundepeilere, klokker, ballistisk kronograf og garmin satelitt abonoment. Godt det finnes andre alternativer til overnevte som f.eks polar, Lawrence, tracker med fler!

Å spare penger på god service og reklamasjon vil jeg tørre å påstå er en dårlig forretningstratesji på sikt . Rart at Garmin velger å behandle gode kunder på denne måten, og undervurderer kunders innvirkning på markedet.

I had a Garmin watch which stopped working. Contacted garmin customer support and tried various measures to rectify the problem without success. I was asked to return the watch which was easy and one week later a replacement was received. Great service.

Had an issue with my watch and rang GarminUk for tech support. They could not fix it so they immediately told me to send back watch and they would replace. My watch is over 1 year old. They had not my model so replaced with the next upgrade. no hassle , no arguing....Just phenomenal service

Expensive product that performs poorly...

I'm very disappointed with the product. The watch performes ...sometimes.
It usually records distance accurately. It rarely maps the swim. VERY rarely.
I turn on GPS while getting changed so it has a few minutes to get the signal. With front crawl, it still doesn't map accurately. Approx. 20% of swims mapped correctly.
Some reviews say to wear it on the other hand. That made no difference for me.
I'm using it for a year with 4-5 swims per week. It's an expensive product that performs poorly. I wouldn't buy the Garmin Swim 2 again.

Contacted them on 12/02 only to be told they have updated the delivery information and it should be shipped today
No explanation as to why it is late or an apology

Surprising customer support when I needed it!

I got an Approach S62 for Christmas two years ago and literally two days after Christmas this year (48 hours outside of warranty) the touch function started locking up. I contacted support, explained the situation and they've offered to replace the device even though I'm technically outside of warranty (just!).

It's an expensive bit of kit—which I love, incidentally—so I really appreciate their understanding.

Expensive Gift that did not Last

I wish I had looked at trust pilot before and I hope that many people do look at these reviews before they consider buying a Garmin watch. My daughter and I saved and purchased a Garmin all singing all dancing watch for my husband's birthday and we split the cost due to the expense, around £500. After 3 years it looks as though the battery liquid has leaked into the face of the watch. When we contacted Garmin customer services they unbelievably offered us a replacement watch for a higher price than one we could have purchased on line and nothing for the failed 3 year watch. They did offer us a reconditioned watch which was a lesser product if we paid a further £150
I would expect a product of this category to last longer than 3 years!!!! Don't buy from this company, their products do not last and their attitude to keeping customers happy is absolutely zero. In this climate of instability one might think that company's would be trying a little harder to build and retain customer loyalty.

Terrible quality for the price

I loved my Garmin watch but after three years it's completely died. First the screen went and now it's stopped charging. While it was beautiful, AUD450 for something that only lasts 3 years is horrendous value for money. When I contacted Garmin, all they offered was a replacement watch, which is two generations old and hideous, for $80 less than a brand new Garmin. I won't be buying Garmin again.
