Garner is useful if your provider is part of it and you make a medical out of packet expense. It is very useful if you have the direct deposit set up as well with them. The reimbursement comed to your account very fast once the claim is approved.

I find that a lot of my physicians that we have history with and our critical to our care aren’t “approved” providers. Extremely frustrating.

Well, what's the point of this crap if I have to spend thousands befer you start to give a little back? The damage is already done, am I supposed to appreciate it?

Problem when we select a new provider and they won’t pay out the previous bills. That’s frustrating.

Garner is designed and marketed as being simple, but to me (and especially to my wife, who handles the bill-paying in our home) Garner seems rather nebulous and uncertain.

It feels risky to pay medical bills with our regular credit card rather than our FSA card, and hope everything goes through and comes back to us 4-6 weeks later in reimbursements. We had trouble at the beginning of the year and had to contact the concierge about every expense. The FSA is not fun either, but at least it has an immediate and clear process.

Another issue is that when my wife was referred to a specialist or sent for imaging, she had no idea who she would see or who would perform the procedure. It was difficult to put them on the Care Team before we knew who they were.

I will say, to their credit, the concierge team seems like it's made up of real people and has been responsive. I appreciate that.
