I have been a customer for over 10 years, maintaining one account or another. I have never received other than first-rate customer service. Being a novice with domain maintenance, server set-up, website launching, etc., Gate.com's customer service and tech support have always been highly competent, respectful, and helpful in resolving my issues.
We are a small company and don’t want to administer our own email server – it’s not our expertise. It is Gate’s expertise and we depend upon them for it. Email is our primary method of getting orders, so dependable email service is critical to us. The thing I like most is there is little to no wait when we need technical support. We have been a customer since before it was Gate and have been satisfied all these years and still are.

I needed to get an SSL certificate for my website (it is a non-profit foundation's website) and I am not very tech savvy. the customer rep was extremely patient and provided assistance that was geared for my level of expertise (or lack thereof). Gate is more organized than me. I have several small websites and manage domains on Gate, including some for friends. For some of them I get email, some I don’t. I had email trouble and it turned out to be for a site with DNS from Gate and mail forwarding from someone else. The call to Gate was great and even though it had nothing to do with their service, the CSR told me what the issue was and what to tell the other provider. Really excellent service.

Whenever I have any questions about my website and email management, the technical department gives me prompt and correct instructions that help me with any problem I encounter. I do not have to wait hours on the phone for assistance I am connected to the troubleshooting department almost immediately.
Over the years I have several websites and managed a couple more. One site was noted to be the largest high school alumni site in the USA. A couple of times, mainly due to my inexperience I totally destroyed one site and I was going to delete the site but the technical people said let them try to recreate the site. Amazingly they put it all back together. I was so impressed that they took the time to work with me, I have recommended then to several people to gate.com who were looking for web hosting services.

The most knowledgeable, helpful and patient people you could hope to do business with. I've used their virtual server services for many years and continue to receive 5 star service as a valued customer. I know that when I run into a problem, it will usually require in-depth knowledge to resolve.
