Won’t be using them again

I travelled over 2 hours to view a car and was clearly told the exterior marks would be sorted and the interior properly valeted before collection. I was also repeatedly pushed to pay £350 for a “diamond clean,” which I refused expecting a £12,600 car to already be in good condition.

On collection, it was obvious very little had been done. The car had only been washed, with marks still visible, and the interior had just a quick hoover not a proper valet. When challenged, I was told they’d done what they could, which simply wasn’t true.

Within a week, the battery went flat. Despite the 6-month warranty, I was told it wasn’t covered because it’s a used car poor aftercare for a car I’d owned for days. The phone charger also didn’t work, despite being “checked,” and had to be replaced at my expense.

I then had to spend £400 correcting the paintwork and £100 on a proper valet. The valeter showed how dirty the seats still were, confirming it hadn’t been cleaned properly at all.

Overall, this was poor service, poor preparation, and no real aftercare especially considering the price paid. I would not recommend and won’t be returning.

Excellent service from a dedicated and professional team

We had a very good experience buying our leisure vehicle from Geoff Cox. Everyone who dealt with us, right through from first seeing the vehicle to completing the purchase and handover, was welcoming, and friendly. They all were very knowledgable and answered all our questions. They made sure that the vehicle was the right one for us, showing alternative layouts and vehicles so we had choices. The handover and talk through of all the technical aspects of the vehicle was very thorough and unhurried, and we had an overnight stay in a local campsite to try everything out before we left with the vehicle. Overall a very good, professional but friendly experience and one where we really felt it was important to them that we were really happy and confident with our vehicle. We will certainly go back to them for servicing and maintenance as we have every confidence in the service they give.

Great experience purchasing our first Motorhome. Really know their stuff and didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need. Following handover of our new vehicle we left feeling confident on embarking on new adventures knowing we can contact them for support if needed. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking to purchase a motohome.

I recently purchased a 2022 Lexus NX 350h after finding it on the company’s website. Due to the distance from my home in Essex, I dealt with Fred in sales over the phone. He was personable, professional, and made the process very straightforward. We agreed on the deal, including a part-exchange value for my current car, before I travelled—allowing me to complete everything in a single visit.

On arrival, Fred welcomed us with a coffee and gave us a tour of the Lexus. After the test drive, the sale and paperwork were completed efficiently and without any hassle.

I would highly recommend both Geoff Cox and Fred to anyone considering changing their car in the near future.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Special mention to Debbie who went through everything in the van with total knowledge. Hand over was the smoothest one we have had . Can’t rate the company high enough.

Great overall experiance purchasing a new Wildax campervan from Geoff Cox. From the initial ordering, changes to the order, pre inspections and the handover itself, it all went very smoothly. Its only been a few days but no issuses with the van itself yet. We would purchase again.

The whole process of buying our camper was so relaxed, absolutely no pushy sales techniques ,quite the opposote to be honest .
Nothing was to much of a problem .

The process of buying our campervan was very professionally managed and well explained. Communication very excellent throughout. Everyone we met in the team from pre sales to handover including the technical staff were exceptionally helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

We bought a new Wildax campervan in September and it couldn’t have been a better experience, Deborah was amazingly friendly and helpful. A couple of weeks ago we had a problem with the shower tap leaking and we needed it fixing quickly as we had a 6 week trip around Spain we drove to Derby expecting a lengthy visit possibly over night as they were quite busy. The experience again couldn’t have been better Nathan on reception got someone on the case straight away and they fitted a different tap to see us through whilst the correct type was on order. Again Deborah kept checking on us and made sure we were okay with a cup of tea. We were finished and on our way home within an hour or so. What a great team and service.

We met Gavin at the nec back in October whilst we were researching campervans. He was helpful and informative without being at all pushy we briefly outlined what we were looking for and Gavin was reassuring and balanced with some good suggestions and guidance in what I can only describe as the overwhelming environment of the nec.. we left still not knowing exactly what we wanted but with better information and a contact that would prove invaluable. A few months later after more and more research we found what we were looking for and contacted Gavin directly, he put us in touch with Joe and we arranged a viewing.. nothing was too much, no question made to feel silly no matter how technical. I wanted certain things a certain way with the electrics and Joe went out of his way to make sure every possible box that could be was ticked. And just like that we started our adventure. The money involved in this investment is a big deal and both Gavin and Joe made sure we got as much as we could for the price we could manage.
Then came handover with Joanne and she went through every nook and cranny of the van and even said we could video it on our phones for reference.. she spent so much time making sure we were OK before we headed off for an overnighter to make sure everything was as it should be. I can't recommend this place enough!..
And last but absolutely not least.. Ian! What a great guy.. he was the first person onsite we met and straight away came over to make sure we were OK, made us both a coffee and our dog loved him.. that's always a good measure in my book, Bella is a great judge of character.. Geoff Cox is a fantastic place with brilliant knowledge, understanding and help.. nothing seemed too much and I'm thankful for all thier help and advice.. absolute top job!!

From sales to service and having a complete personal service including free tickets to the NEC show after we’d already signed the deal and then being given an additional discount was certainly unexpected. This is our 4th Adria, the 3rd from Geoff Cox and wouldn’t consider buying from elsewhere, they’ve done all our servicing and mot’s for the last 12 years as well, nothing ever too much trouble
