Thought this was a usa made product. Wrong ! There is no George and there is no company going out of business. The product is from China. A made up story. I was disappointed. Waiting for delivery of the cap now. Should have done my research before ordering. Beware.
Received the cap shipped from China. They even cut out the made in China tag to further deceive the buyer.

You will notice all the five star reviews all say one or two reviews, because they were either paid or are someone that is leaving these reviews from China, because there's no George's cap, these are nothing but China made junk that they're peddling here in the states.

These hats are machine made from China. They are not hand-made! The leather caps are cheap faux leather, in other words, plastic. In answering customer accusations about the business cutting the tags out that say "Made in China" the response was the tags were bothering customers necks. B.S.! If you're making them by hand why would you put the tags in the hat in the first place? Why would you make a cap with a tag only to cut it out after the cap was finished. There is no physical address because there is no little man making hats in a little shop in England, the Netherlands or the USA or anywhere else except China.

George, thank you! I ordered five caps, and I have to say that they are very well made and the quality is excellent, at a great price. Every one that I ordered, matched the site photos to a T. Happy, yes! Satisfied, yes! There was a delay, but a quickly returned reply assured me they would be coming soon. They're not rushed, but I imagine to keep the price low and the quality excellent, probably explains the delay. The wait was worth it!
I will probably order a few more, hopefully by that time there will be a few left. In any case George, enjoy your retirement!

Black cap timely arrived and I was so pleased with it. Despite my advanced age, I have shock black hair and the cap made my head look even more spectacular!

I saw an ad on the internet and looked at the website. I liked what I saw and placed an order, which arrived quickly and was well packed. Upon opening it, my wife saw the caps and decided to wear them as she liked the styling and colors. She has gotten at least one positive comment from other ladies every single time we go to Church or she has lunch with her friends. The people all want to know where we got them so they can buy them for themselves or their husbands. I have since placed several follow on orders and always fast delivery and excellent quality in materials and fit. And, you can't beat the price! Wearing these caps always gives me a well turned out feeling no matter how I am dressed. The available styles and colors are a great match for all types and colors of clothing whether you are playing golf or going out for the evening.

The hat I received was clearly not hand made and was extremely low quality. When I asked for a refund, I was told I would need to pay out of pocket to ship the item to London which would cost roughly the same amount as I originally paid for the low grade item. Or they would allow me to keep the hat and they'd give me 20% off another purchase. I'm throwing it away and chalking it up to a bad decision on my part.

Love the cap I ordered from George, it came in fast too. I ordered one for my dad and he loves it as well. Thank you George, your story is amazing!

My name is Mark Richardson. Two weeks ago I received my cap. It came in clear plastic bag inside a plastic mailing bag. It was stuffed in my mailbox. Already, I dreaded opening it because of the way it was presented to me. Upon unzipping the plastic bag, I beheld a cap with loose stitches and flimsy material. This was not as advertised. If I wore this on a regular basis, it would not last a month much less a lifetime. I fell for AI advertising. I got suckered. Don't you get
disappointed like I did. Save yourself some money. Buy a real hat that you put your hands on first and try on. Quality apparently ain't what it use to be and George ain't either.

Just got mine delivered. Very cheap, poor quality. No structure to the caps. Flimsy. Garbage quality. Not only that, the TRACKING NUMBER shows it was SHIPPED FROM CHINA.

All AI-generated images on the website, fake reviews, and drop-shipped from China, NOT London. I wouldn't care if the quality was actually good, but the fabric is very thin and feels like polyester. Definitely not wool but there's no way to tell since they removed all the labels!

He has generously offered his life's labor for sale at bargain prices making nice caps available to many who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford one. I will wear mine as a tribute to his legacy.

I was drawn in by the hand crafted caps. I'd much rather purchase a product that had the skills of a craftsman then a machine. I recently retired and I wanted a fresh newer look. I never wore a flat cap so I purchased one to see how I liked it. I liked the new look, my wife liked it and I received compliments around town. I recently purchased 2nd cap to compliment the occasions when I wear a suit. Looking forward to wearing my new caps for many years.
