Unfortunately, our boxes arrived in Australia severely damaged on the outside, with the contents inside completely ruined due to being soaked through. We provided photos and videos of the unpacking process as clear evidence of the irreversible damage.
The customer service experience was extremely frustrating — emails were repeatedly passed to UPS, and we were continually asked for information that had already been provided. Communication throughout the complaint process was poor, and despite requesting a phone call to discuss the issue, no one ever contacted us.
Although we had insurance, we’ve been told that no compensation will be provided because our items were preloved and we don’t have receipts for everything. This has been incredibly disappointing, especially after so much back-and-forth with different representatives who kept asking for the same details. Even when we called from the UK, we were promised a callback that never came, and now our emails are being ignored.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise against using this service. The lack of accountability, poor customer service, and meaningless insurance coverage have left us not only out of pocket but also without any resolution. We are appalled by the experience and will not be recommending this company to anyone.

My suitcase was delivered to Melbourne Australia from Edinburgh in a week, completely undamaged, the customer service team were really responsive and helpful in getting everything organised, the instructions on how to pack your suitcase for efficiency and to protect the case were really clear, and the delivery driver that picked up the suitcase was great. And crucially, the cost was quite reasonable for shipping a 23kg suitcase as well. Literally nothing to complain about and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I will also be recommending getmyparcel to anyone I know who will be needing to ship large parcels or relocate

Smooth booking process online. Great customer service clarifying address changes and best way to get the parcel where it needed to go. Pickup was on time and smooth, updates provided over the journey and delivery in a week shipping UK to Australia.

They came highly recommended & I was pleased with initial customer service & booking - shipped 3 boxes from US to UK, scheduling & pick up was easy, I had the TOR ready & attached to the boxes. Two boxes made it to the designated address, third did not & that’s when the fun began - who’s to blame for this? Possibly DHL, they are the couriers - GMP is the broker. I was on my way to the UK when my sister emails & says DHL demanded £291 in import taxes & they would deliver the last box??!!! Told her NOT to pay it & I contacted GMP, they told me not to pay & they would ‘fix’ it - well that didn’t happen, kept fobbing me off & finally told me the box was ‘possibly lost’ - I went a wee bit nuclear on them & turned on my difficult American, and whadaya know; they ‘found’ it, but DHL still demanded £291 in import tax, GMP again kept fobbing me off, telling me ‘the team’ was working on it - in the meantime I called the import tax office at DHL & raised hell, they reluctantly agreed to deliver & it showed up two days later, taped to oblivion & content obviously had been dropped on the floor, & shoved back in the box. Several things missing - which I was told ‘they would see’ if they would cover. After some back & forth they came back & told me they needed the original receipts for everything in the box, not just the missing items, otherwise they couldn’t possible reimburse me - I walked away at that point - I was done wasting time - would not recommend, they are great until they are not 🤷‍♀️

Get my parcel have been fantastic with my relocation from the USA back to the UK. I sent 14 packages, to include boxes and suitcases, and all arrived in a timely way and without damage. The last two packages I sent this week arrived in two days, which was amazing. Their communication is timely. I had some queries with my initial packages due to some potential duty being charged at the other end and they were very responsive and helped resolve the issues. The price is very reasonable, especially compared to other companies. I can’t recommend enough.

Arrived quickly and was an easy process dealing with them.
However when I arrived back in Aus after travelling (I travelled for 8 weeks between relocation from UK to Aus) I discovered two wheels damaged on my suitcase in transit. Get my Parcel were not helpful in initiating a claim with the courier and told me that I’d waited too long, despite me as a customer not having a contract with the courier, only with Get my Parcel. Disappointed that they shifted the liability to the courier and I am now $120 out of pocket for repairs.

I was very happy with the service provided to help me ship a suitcase from the UK to Australia. Not only are the rates very competitive and cheaper compared to others, but the speed at which it got delivered was fantastic. The process of booking is very easy and detailed instructions are provided on what to do. My suitcase got picked up promptly on the day I chose and it arrived at the other end in 3 business days with no issues at all. Detailed tracking was also provided so I was able to see all the stops it went through. Very happy and grateful for the team for their services.

I have used getmyparcel on a couple of occasions from UAE to UK and cannot fault them! My parcel has always arrived earlier than expected via DHL (and cheaper than DHL direct). The team at getmyparcel always email to update you too, what more can you ask for.

I got a suitcase shipped from the UK to Australia. The whole process was simple and easy to follow. I only booked two days before the pick up and the company got back to me very quickly. I also had a few questions regarding the delivery, which were answered within 30mins of me sending an email. As Australia has strict bio security laws, the instructions given regarding what you cannot pack was clear. Also there is a video that shows you how to correctly pack and label the suitcase so there are no issues on the journey, which was very helpful. Overall great experience!

Customer service was excellent and responded immediately. I sent 3 suitcases from the UK to AUS which arrived within 7 days. Pick up was delayed by 1 day which was not ideal but they said that it can happen so you should calculate that in. Delivery was also delayed by 1 day but all in all it was a very fast process.

Very pleasantly surprised - it was a great experience. The hardest bit was wrapping the boxes up correctly (lots of tape and cling film) but I’m so glad I did as the contents arrived in perfect condition. The boxes were collected the day after I placed the order and arrived in Australia 5 days later (and 2 days earlier than scheduled). The email communication of order updates was great, I am happy to highly recommend GetMyParcel.
