Excellent customer service.
Product really works! Less washes per week(less greasy for longer) and thicker hair noticed by my hairdresser and multiple friends after around 6 months.
Have recommended to friends! Love the eco friendly factor.
Only drawback is that it doesn’t seem to last me as long as it says so I’ve had to buy other shampoo in between. Love the product though!!! Will remain a customer:)

Easy to use website, clear description of the products, excellent reviews. The products themselves are easy to use and are so good - soft, healthy hair and no scalp irritation. I’m so impressed that I’ve signed up for the subscription service so I get a regular supply. What’s even better is no more single-use plastic so helping the planet as well.

I like the concept but I won't be purchasing again. The shampoo is okay, the conditioner is where I have my main issues.

Overall, it's expensive (which clearly by purchasing this, I'm happy to turn a blind eye to) but my hair is just left feeling dry and fragile. I have to wait for my hair to dry before I brush after using this because it just feels brittle.

Many other people love it, it just doesn't seem to suit me.

This shampoo works really well! It leaves my hair clean and hydrated, unlike shampoo bars that strip the hair of moisture.
Plastic pollution is a major blight on humanity’s conscience, and this shampoo comes without adding to the load of plastics made and thrown away by humanity. Just a simple cardboard box to transport the powder. And the carbon footprint is reduced because there is no water in the product until you add it, so it is lighter (and therefore less carbon dioxide is emitted in its transport).
Well done Selkie! I hope you make some hand wash and other products soon!

Sorry, my hair didn’t like it, was like straw, don’t know if it’s suitable for colored hair.

I was so excited to try this when I saw it advertised and really hoped it lived up to its expectations! It has! I contacted the company prior to ordering to check suitability for coloured hair. They were lovely, quick to reply and helpful. After the first wash I am so impressed! My hair is still (day 2/3) soft, shiny and for the first time in a long time my scalp is not irritated!!! 😃 I love the environmental benefit of reordering powder and single use bottles! I will be spreading the word far and wide to friends, family and colleagues. Selkie is the future of hair care. I love it! Thank you! 😊

I was initially interested by the concept since I try to make sustainable choices when it comes to products I regularly rebuy. I've never got on with shampoo bars, so this idea looked excellent! I thought the price was reasonable considering salon products are much more expensive, the delivery was good, packaging excellent, and it was easy to put together. Full transparency, when I used the product for the first time I thought I had made a mistake because it didn't lather how I was used to shampoo lathering, so I didn't feel my hair was getting a clean. But once I dried it, my hair had never felt so clean, healthy, sleek and soft. I had a baby 9 months ago, and have suffered with postpartum hair loss and frizzy regrowth, and today, after using Selkie, I felt confident in my hair for the first time in months!

I had a problem with my subscription. I some how had two accounts. I problem was soon sorted. I was told when my next delivery would be.

Excellent customer service and top product. Took a while to get used to the amounts etc, but multiple people have commented on how much thicker my hair is, including my hair dresser!

Selkie is hands down the best natural beauty product I've tried. A lot of products I've used don't live up to what they promise, so I reluctantly revert back to mainstream brands. But Selkie has been so good for my hair, it lasts a long time, and the subscription process makes it so easy (plus the founder seems like a babe!!). 100% worth changing your habits for.

I have wavy/curly hair and have been looking for hair products that don’t leave my hair frizzy or damage it with chemicals, and I’ve finally found it! Their shampoo is one of the only ones I’ve used that I can brush my hair straight after using so don’t have to do it after conditioner. Found the best lather happened when I put a bit of water straight onto the product on my head. Also always ring my hair out before adding the conditioner and comes out great.

Hair feels clean for multiple days and always so shiny. If I leave it natural my curls always look amazing and no frizz! Would definitely recommend!!

I'm trying to remove chemicals / micro-plastics from all products (makeup, cleaning etc) - this is my first time trying a sustainable shampoo / conditioner and I'm obsessed! It feels a bit different at first since it doesn’t lather like regular shampoos - but it's crazy to think that effect is only because of all the chemicals.

So glad I've finally found a natural ingredient, toxic-free shampoo that makes my hair feel great too. Just if you have fine hair like me, make sure to give it an extra rinse.

I wanted to love this, however each time I used the shampoo & conditioner the condition of my hair became progressively worse, really dry, no shine at all & increasingly itchy scalp , so thank but no thanks as it is a great idea but the quality of the products will depend on the water!

I have been so impressed with Selkie that I have now subscribed so that I can receive my Shampoo & Conditioner every 6 weeks. Not only is this convenient, but I know I am helping the planet in a small way by reducing my use of single use plastic. Best of all my hair is looking AMAZING!! Love it.

I really wanted to love this product because the concept aligns so well with my values. I was excited to try it as soon as it arrived, and the mixing process was simple and straightforward, which I liked.

Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. I have long, straight hair, and it took four washes before my hair finally felt somewhat close to clean. Even then, my hair felt heavy, sticky, and not truly clean. The shampoo doesn’t foam much, so I needed to use a lot of product to cover all my hair. It was also quite difficult to rinse out and required a lot of water - which, ironically, felt wasteful. The conditioner was even more disappointing. It didn’t provide any moisture, and brushing my hair afterward was such a struggle.

I truly wanted this to work for me because I love the idea behind it, but sadly, the results just weren’t there.
