I have never waited so long to get a payout from a sold gift card. Then, it won't even allow you to cash out. And that's where I'm at right now. I recommend never ever to use this company. Keep in mind I did this March 26th. It is now April 18th.

If I could rate lower, I absolutely would. Twice now, I sold a giftcard that should have been paid out for over a hundred dollars and the first time, it was just mysteriously "lost" inthe system but had definitely been drained the day I put in my request. Ok, maybe I did something wrong? So I somehow managed to get the card replaced by kohls, which they were really nice about, and then I document every part of the process the next time. I end up waiting over a week and get told they need me to send them a selfie and a copy of my id. For what? The card wasn't attached to my name and they didn't need that to spend it. But whatever. So I verify. Then they tell me to give them a few business days to pay me. That was the 10th and today is the 18th. I feel thats been plenty of time. And all the while, mind you, the only way to contact them is via email or text and they dont respond for several days on either contact method. So I message them repeatedly and get no response. Im about to go to the police and report both of the cards as theft. Hopefully, whoever has oversight on these kinds of things will go slap someone down and end their gift card theiving mill, but under the current administration, I have little or no faith in that prospect. So it looks like im just out the $300 cash/$400 giftcard money and there's nothing I can do except post pissed off reviews online. Awesome. Hey giftcash, when you decide to pay me, ill take these down and stop posting new ones. I dint wanna hear another bullsh*t excuse either. You claim you pay for giftcards "instantly" and 8 days is not instant. Your view of how time works is much like a tweakers- Non existent. Get it together and pay me.

On April 16, I reached out again to inquire about the status of the payment. I also noted that there was no longer any history of my order in their online system. I was informed that they were waiting for their team to finalize the payment process I reached out numerious times! and received a response that they have submitted a formal request to speed up the payment process. Mind you there website has changed
and it seem more confusing with no resolution.

as of to date, I have not received the payment as promised.

Still yet to get a response from these folks on their website. Literally won’t respond on to me on their own page but I leave a review on here and y’all respond and act surprised by the constant issues occurring with selling one single gift card.

I sold gift cards through GiftCash and have not received my payout. I followed all required steps and provided everything requested. I also contacted support multiple times, but the issue has not been resolved and I have not been given a clear explanation for the delay.

At this point, I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and reliability. Sellers should be cautious when using this platform, as my experience has been that payments are not guaranteed even after completing transactions properly.

If this issue is resolved, I will update my review, but until then I cannot recommend GiftCash based on my experience.

I had several merchant gift cards which I didn't intend to use, and decided to sell them to a company which class ms to purchase these cards for a certain discount. The company is giftcash.com. On March 23, I created an account on their website, and submitted the details of 3 gift cards with total face value of $1721. In exchange, I would receive a payment worth 88% of the face value, which amounted to $1513.48. Per their website, payment would be expected within 5-10 business days.

I checked the status of my gift cards several days after submission, and learned that they had indeed been utilized by the company and their values had been reduced to $0. After the 5th business day, on March 30th, I reached out to inquire about the status of their payment to me. They informed me that my order was ready for payout, and I should receive relevant instructions shortly. For nearly 2 weeks, I received no further communication from the company.

On April 11, I reached out again to inquire about the status of the payment. I also noted that there was no longer any history of my order in their online system. I was informed that they were waiting for their team to finalize the payment process! I reached out again on April 14th, and received a response that they have submitted a formal request to speed up the payment process!

To date, I have not received the payment.

In contrast, I conducted a similar transaction with cardcash.com and I received payment within hours.

I sold two Best Buy gift cards totaling approximately $735 through GiftCash (giftcash.com) on March 16, 2026. The transactions were marked as “processed,” and the full balances were successfully deducted from the cards. However, I have not received any payout, and the expected payout now shows $0.

I have contacted customer support multiple times and have only received generic responses with no payout confirmation, transaction ID, or clear timeline.

At this point, it appears that the company has received full value from the gift cards but has not issued payment. This raises serious concerns about their payout practices and reliability.

This is reaching unacceptable level of delays now. I would have to find a different website for selling my unused gift cards. Thing is it's not one time, it's every single time. Their customer service chat copy paste the same chat each time. They are never able to provide any information at all whatsoever. I am now getting really frustrated with the experience i have been having with them each time with these delays without any tracking system at all.

It has been about a month since I submitted my gift cards, and I still haven’t received my payout.

I also noticed they had a website update, my order now shows individual card order IDs instead of the original order number I had before. This is confusing, and I’m not sure if it has affected my payout process.

They've taken the money from my card and still haven't been paid for three weeks. The order number is GA-A2C65-314646.

To make matters worse, when I log into my account, the order history has completely disappeared. It is absolutely ridiculous that a company can take the value of a card and then scrub the transaction record from the user’s dashboard. This is unacceptable behavior for a business handling people's money.

They took the money from my gift card, over $100, and never paid. It has been almost a month and still no payment. All they do is respond with stalling tactics and claiming “payout is processing”. Don’t do business with these scammers. I have filed a complaint with BBB and with the FBI through ic3.

On business day 19 and payment is still pending. Customer service keeps telling me I’ve been approved for payout and I’m in queue yet here we are, no payment, still pending. They took the entire amount off of my gift card the same day. There are many other companies I would rather do business with and I would not recommend this one. I should have looked up the reviews before I sold my gift card to them. They pay more than other places but who knows if I’ll ever receive the money. It’s over $250 so it wasn’t just a small total. My gift card was $300.

Update as of 4/12. My account now says zero transaction history. Zero payment and like it never existed. Pretty sure they blocked me from everything. If this is not fixed I will be hiring an attorney and going after for fraud. Do not use this site. My last contact with them was when I wrote them April 2nd. Have also filed a Bbb complaint. Update 4/19. Amount is in my GiftCash “bank” but how random “withdraws are temporarily unavailable we will contact you when this is resolve” has now been this way for 3 days.

My first experience with giftcash is very poor, I placed a sell order on the 8th of march after some few days they contacted me to update my payment method regarding my funds, I messaged them with order number GA-95EFF-313866 and my interact address, they told me that it was updated and I’ll recieve my money but over 1month now, no payment no reply I messaged them plenty times they shows no concern about it.

I'm still waiting on my money it's been more than a month now and I still haven't recieved my payment. They got the giftcard I sold cleared though. That was done the same day. Now a month later and still no payment. GA-D2640-314156. Please pay me my money this is ridiculous. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS PLACE TO SELL MY CARD . IM SO DISAPPOINTED

Still waiting on my money. It’s been way over the “15 day” mark…

It’s now been over 30 days. Order says pending. Customer service repeats same lies daily. At this point filing a BBB complaint and police report might be the only way to get your money.
