From initial discussions to completion we had an excellent service. Everything was clearly explained, the fitting was excellent, and the system explained to us clearly. All the team were available to answer questions, and still are. The system is already paying dividends, and you would hardly know we have the panels and battery, just reduced bills- always a bonus. I would recommend Glo without hesitation, many thanks to everyone particularly Storm and Charles with support from there team.

Very positive experience. Friendly professional company. No question is 'too stupid'. Very willing to help whenever possible. They installed my battery in Nov 24 and were helpful on where to put it, and made sure all wiring was neat and tidy.
In Sept 2025 after changing service provider, they came out and connected me after I had had problems trying myself.

I approached three companies for quotes for a solar installation and battery system. GloRenewables were the only company that listened to my requirements and came up with three different plans that would suit my needs. They explained each plan and it's merits and shortfalls in terms that I could understand. The installation went smoothly and afterwards they also advised on which tariffs were best suited. They explained the system workings and how to use the App and Website to control the system. When the battery developed a fault they were straight on the case and it was replaced quickly. I have had the system for a year now and I am completely satisfied with it. Especially knowing that if anything goes wrong or I need advice I can just call GloRenewables and they will respond quickly.

In February , after winter storms , we had to have our whole roof repaired . Old solar panels had to come off .
We were recommended Glo Renewables Ltd . It was very sound advice . Excellent impartial advice regarding replacing old panels or buying new . Fitted in with the roofers timetable so no delay on the repair . A summer of sunny weather and very good output of solar energy .

Storm went above and beyond to make sure we were happy before, during and after installation. We did have a small issue but after letting storm know about it the issue was sorted no questions asked and promptly.

From my initial phone call on a Monday, to the replacement of my inverter on the following Wednesday, everyone at Glo has been helpful and professional. Due to difficult situation at home I was not very flexible as to when they could come to help, but they fitted around me. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and look forward to future dealings.

I had been mulling over getting solar power on our house on Dartmoor for at least 6 years, mostly because we get at least 3 power cuts a year, but also because power outages across the UK are inevitable. I contacted one other firm which has now gone into liquidation, and also Storm at Glo-Renewables. Storm being your first point of contact doesn't leave you hanging when it comes to communications and information that you need, that is the key to running a successive business. We came up with a plan fairly quickly and it was explained in simple language right the way through the process. The team were polite, hard working and didn't leave a mess after they left for the day. It took a week, 5 days to put the whole system in and we are now power self sufficient, which is great. I honestly can't fault the company in anyway at all. We purchased the Tesla wall unit and 14 panels giving us 5KW which is enough to not only run a three bed house but now EDF are paying us. All I can say to you is do it and use this company.

GLO-Renewables offered a survey, without pressure, with a clearly defined solution at a competitive market price. The presales support was refreshing compared to several other experiences. Installation was superb, clean and to schedule. After sales support dealing with Octopus for our battery backup system was also good., thanks guys.

When our battery began failing it was quickly recognised and assessed with a replacement installed very rapidly.
The solar monitoring app worked well and gave us excellent data to evaluate the efficiency of the system.

The end product as as good as promised and delivering more than we expected. They were efficient in assessing our needs and the expertise in setting us up was equally good. Very satisfied with the end result.

The installation team, led by Dan, were also excellent. They turned up on time, worked efficiently, and were respectful and flexible throughout. I had some unexpected chimney repairs crop up halfway through the install, but the team handled the situation with good humour and professionalism, which made a potentially stressful moment feel easy.

My system has now been running for six months and the difference is clear—I’m saving a significant amount on my bills and already benefiting from export payments.

Storm and his team from Glo Renewables installed our solar panel system 9 months ago and we are extremely pleased with how it has performed. Two years ago, Storm and Charlie provided an excellent service in providing and installing solar panels, a battery and an EV charger. They explained our options clearly and suggested appropriate solutions for our particular requirements. Their installation was efficient and on-time and they were always cheerful, informative and responsive to our needs. There were teething problems with the equipment but they responded rapidly, kept us fully informed of developments, and ultimately found the necessary solutions.

Recently we there was a little glitch with the system and when I called them, they were on my doorstep within an hour. They analysed the problem (not their fault), identified the fix and all was back up and running in short order.

I would strongly recommend Glo Renewables for the installation of solar panel and EV charger systems.

Having been let down badly by a solar installation company that failed to register the solar panels with the national grid and then couldn’t be contacted, we were faced with the problems of trying to get the matter legally. This was very time consuming and frustrating. We were lucky to have paid for the installation by credit card. The credit card company, after we had provided them with all the relevant documentation, agreed to finance another solar company to make good the problems left by the last one.
We contacted Glo-renewables, a local company, to assess what needed to be done. From the very start they were extremely helpful and also very knowledgeable. They quickly came and assessed the problem and gave us a quote of what needed doing for them to get us connected to the grid. Not only that but they also discovered that the battery storage system was not what was said on the original quote. That quote was forwarded to the credit company and the agreed to cover the cost including upgrading the battery storage system.
I cannot stress how quick and professional this company was. They kept me informed of every step of the process until we were connected. I cannot praise this company highly enough for the support and professionalism they gave me and would more than highly recommend them to any prospective customer wanting solar panel installation. From the moment we made contact, through their site visit to allow a precise quotation to be provided, through the care and attention to detail given in the installation and through their continued devotion to post installation customer service (including a bit of hand-holding) their service has been nothing short of excellent.

I our case Glo Renewables fitted a solar system with 2 batteries and 2 EV chargers that runs in parallel with an existing solar system. This was important to us as we wanted to preserve the FiT on the existing set up. They advised and assisted on matters relating to the FiT and helped us set up for optimal operation. The system has now been operating successfully for 18 months and for example, last week we exported 275kW of energy!

I do not normally write reviews and I do not give 5 star reviews lightly, but I have no hesitation in recommending Glo Renewables to anyone who may be interested in approaching them and asking for assistance. Just give them a call - it costs nothing and you may just start a relationship which delivers for both parties.
