Outstanding Professionalism, Technical Expertise, and Customer Support

Our experience working with Sean and the entire GlobalSign team has been exceptional from start to finish.

As Senior Architect of an enterprise software company, I regularly work with technology vendors and implementation teams. The level of professionalism, technical expertise, responsiveness, and customer focus demonstrated by GlobalSign stands among the best I have experienced.

They always manage to pull the rabbit out of the hat when we're on a deadline, and we always get through to a person on the phone if we ever need to (which is rare, and usually because we're pushing a deadline) rather than some AI rubbish.

Straight forward but some systems are old and cluncky

GlobalSign is a pioneering Company in spreading the X.509 Protocol in general and the Electronic Digital Signature in all its derivatives in particularly.
If it were not for GlobalSign the world would have suffered a lot and it will not have reached to where we stand now in Technology. I personally think we owe it a lot.

I used to use Global sign for 4 years. The service itself was good and worked, but the vetting process was so bad. Each renewal needed lots of time and paperwork.

Last time I tried to upgrade, it was a mess, the vetting team was so unprofessional and really lost a customer, they left me with an expired digital signature for 4 months without real care to finish my paperwork. I lost several customers because of that.

Again, it is a lot of bureaucracy especially with African countries (as they have lots of suspicion, I know, but I am an existing 4 years customer).

No refund after 7 days. After you receive your certificate, you cannot request a refund after 7 days of issuing the certificate. Always read the small print. They will take your money and run away. Other providers in the EU have a 30-day refund policy.

We had to use GlobalSign due to project requirements, and we’re glad we did. Throughout the engagement, we interacted with both their sales and support teams multiple times—and each experience was consistently professional, responsive, and solution-oriented. Despite initial constraints, they delivered excellent results and met all timelines. We’d gladly recommend them as a reliable and capable partner.

Nothing works, get my money and didn't bring the process to a successful end.

Extremely prompt customer service via email. It only took me 2 weeks from making the payment to signing my Windows executables in GitHub Actions using an HSM-based EV certificate. Overall quick and frictionless process, though inconsistent dated presentation of documents and slightly outdated documentation. It would probably help the process to already have a DUNS number before starting.
I followed a very helpful tutorial from melatonin.dev which showed how to use GlobalSign and Azure Key Storage Vault so you can sign code in CICD without needing a physical hardware key. I highly recommend referencing that article and using GlobalSign as your certificate authority.

The service from this organisation is truly pathetic. This is the second time I'm ordering from them. The first was in 2017 and the experience, then, was terrible. This time the vetting folks have already made two errors and the nightmare doesn't seem to be ending. Their support number is never manned and they don't bother to call back when you leave a message.

The most unhelpful live chat service I have used. Unwilling to try to help and had no interest in helping me resolve an issue at all.

I ordered an EV code signing certificate from this company... It has been a nightmare, I really encourage you to choose another company. I still have doubts and I am not sure if it is a scam or not.

They send you emails requesting information to fulfill your order, you reply with the requested data, and they never reply to you, you do not receive a confirmation email or anything. Weeks later, you receive a "kind reminder" warning you that you have not replied to their emails and this could affect the your order. This is where your nightmare starts...

This happened to me, so I called them, twice by phone, contacted them via chat and nothing happened, just received a "The Vetting Team will reply you back soon". At the end I had to ask a refund and threatened them explaining that if they do not contact me back and check into their emails I would publish all the pictures I have (proofs that show I actually replied their emails, and they are just ignoring me) and also would expose the fraud they are doing. That day I received 6 calls from different Indian people, all of them telling me that they have received my emails...

Today a month and half later of submitting the order, they are still processing my order and today just minutes ago I received another "kind reminder" explaining that I haven't replied to their emails...

I have all the proofs safe, and I am ready to take this case to the British consumer authorities, if you have any doubts about this I can share it with you... So you can see it yourself.

Do not get into this nightmare it's just my advice.

My certificate expired prematurely. Just took my money and never refunded me. Globalsign is a thief.

Happy with their SSL offerings. They aren't cheap - but you pay more for quality offerings.
