Day 1- The van I rented “Rex” had a propane leak. Spent the next 24 hours Consulting w the van’s owner who reminded me about the roadside assistance I had paid for. Which- unfortunately did not apply in this instance because The van was movable. Lesson learned. Waste of money.
Luckily, the owner had another van in his driveway “Charlie “ that he was willing to swap out for the van I rented. He drove two hours to meet me on the highway for the exchange. All Gocamp representatives were responsive and polite. The inconvenience was unfortunate, but problem was resolved.
I preferred the second van. Older but much better kitchen and bedroom layout. And systems that worked.
Owner was great w information about convenient dump stations and groceries stores for stocking up. His vans were very well stocked w supplies.

We loved renting through GoCamp, and mostly had a seamless experience. The website, while really clean-looking, makes it a little hard to find certain things you've been sent before, like trips you've booked. Also, the van owner and I were waiting for my link to do the renters part of the walk-through before we left, but it came several hours later. For that reason, and because we were already on the road, I opted out of uploading pictures to document the beginning state of the vehicle. No big deal, but could probably be improved upon. Regardless, still a very wonderful experience and I'm happy that something like this exists. Have already recommended GoCamp to others.

The website is outdated, and some of the most important information, including insurance and special discounts, is either hidden or out of date. The description of the rental process did not match our experience. The touted van guide was empty. The background check site and process was poorly done. Our experience improved dramatically once we were in touch with the van owner. Our van trip was terrific.

Our experience was good and when we needed to reach out to them they were very helpful.

Overall easy to book.

The only complaint I had is that I had to book the van rental twice. The original request was canceled due to the Van not available, but when I reached out to the Van owner it was available so I had to rebook. I knew it was available because we arranged with Noovo to ensure the dates were available. The communication between GoCamp and Novoo should be improved to avoid this hassle. We loved the van.

The customer service was excellent! Several listings/van owners cancelled and it was frustrating. Not sure if listings were inaccurate or the van owners changed their mind. The GoCamp team worked with other van owners to find me an alternative and get me going. I really appreciated it!

Excellent communication from owner, van was better than expected, great advice on where to go from Marcus.

3 stars as there are improvements needed. The rental went well but the website needs some serious work. Very difficult to see rental information (have to go through messages which is odd). The paperwork sign off was not always intuitive and when handing back the van there was no way to confirm checkin and no visibility (that I can find) of the final billing.

Really needs a phone app and more functionality on the website.

Hate to say this but if a van was available on Outdoorsey I would prefer to use that interface than Gocamp.

Loved our experience in Pete’s van. The videos were great but he also was helpful in giving me a once over before leaving. I had a few questions when traveling and he was totally responsive and accommodating. Van was very well stocked with things we needed and nothing we didn’t. 100 percent would rent again.

They are great to work with

Seamless process from booking to driving away, we had an awesome experience with GoCamp and look forward to another amazing trip utilizing their service. We booked a Class B for pickup in Las Vegas and spent ten days in Southern Utah, it was a priceless experience.

We rented the van, 'Friday', for a week to travel around the parks in southern Utah. We actually started with a different van, but it was pulled for service ~6 weeks prior to rental. the group at GoCamp was VERY helpful in navigating to a different van for our trip. I appreciated GoCamp's support and process for working with the Van owner.
The van and the crew behind the rental were EXCELLENT. Korey was always on the spot with information and willing to answer my many questions. Kathy was our onsite contact, meeting us with the van, going over all the operations, and checking us back in when we returned. Kathy was awesome...very helpful, great communication about the van and a joy to talk to. She was essentially our direct contact from the time we arrived in Vegas until our Uber showed up to take us back to the airport. Kathy was efficient in moving us through the check out/in process! This was our first experience with GoCamp and the #VanLife. We are hooked and ready to book with them again! Thanks to the team. This is a great crew to work with!

The van itself was fantastic. But the van owner/manager was also fantastic. We had an issue one night and they were so helpful. Kathy was a pleasure to meet and was really kind and thoughtful about the way things were set up for our family if 4. I am giving 4 stars rather than 5 because some info was missing that would have helped us solve the issue much faster. Actually it would 4.5 stars.

GoCamp helped us to find the perfect vehicle for our trip. The trip was amazing, and I don’t think it could have happened without the help of GoCamp.

Dissatisfied with the Private Owners I rented from more than GoCamp as a service, but- this van was not in a good condition to be rented out and GoCamp should ensure that every van owner is more responsible than this. We had problems w battery drain (bad alternator so it never charged), leaky sun roof (which could not be resolved by us thru a whole night of rain), & a toilet that wouldn't flush. I really believe it all could have been avoided had the owner taken better care & interest in the proper operations of their van.

Every day we spent time troubleshooting different problems, some safety issues that could cause serious damage to property, some corners cut/lack of proper solutions starting with all the galley drawers opening & slamming on our initial 4 hr drive to Moab. It makes for distracting noise/action while we adjust to navigating a new vehicle.. oh, but also add in the constant whistle of the sunroof..

We paid a lot of money to rent this van as a luxury w its modernizations & amenities but it ended up being a real drag & wasted time/money on our trip. I hope the owners are able to get Maisey in the proper shape before renting her out again, if not maybe they provide a bit more transparency of van's actual condition. All the unexpected issues cost us a lot of time, hassle, energy & stress on our what was supposed to be carefree & fun.

Easy process to rent and the van had everything we needed! Would rent from GoCamp again.

Our experience with GoCamp was outstanding. Our family of three decided at the last minute to take a trip from Dallas to Jackson Hole, WY and wanted to make the travel part of the adventure. GoCamp helped us to find a vehicle that would accommodate the three of us, plus our large German Shepherd puppy. We were able to pack food, camping gear, and all of our other must-haves. We lived out of the van for two weeks and had everything that we needed. The process was easy, the people were friendly and helpful, and we will definitely use GoCamp again for our next cross-country adventure!
