Our local travel agent was unable to help us with our trip, so I booked our Iceland trip through her agency based upon online ratings. From the very beginning, Ella was patient, informative and in constant communication with us.
Specifically, she was able to give us several details that made our week so enjoyable:
Her destination recommendations were outstanding, and her lodging bookings were convenient to those locations. Her restaurant options were also welcomed, and again, were conveniently located close to our hotels. Our daily schedule was thoughtfully planned out and gave us ample time to visit each of her suggested destinations without being rushed.
Finally, she expertly planned our trip to accommodate both our ideas and our budget.
Iceland has so much more to see, but thanks to her, we were able to enjoy a sizeable number of its charms and unique attractions.

She has worked to give us a positive experience when we visit Iceland, as she has included all of our wants with a planned itinerary. Just finished booking our trip at the end of May and it was such a nice, supported process. Cliodhna created a super-detailed itinerary, and then modified based on our calls as I refined which experiences I was the most interested in. She definitely knows her stuff and is so accommodating - she basically created three full itineraries for us by the time I had asked all my questions. I also loved the videos she recorded for us so that she could give us extra tips and tricks to get the most out of each place. We are so looking forward to it, thanks for making it an easy, stress-free process!

Ellas knowledge and communication skills are top tier!

Do not book with Go Iceland Tours. They operate as a third-party broker, charging massive premium markups while fundamentally misrepresenting the travel assets you are buying.

We booked a high-tier travel package that promised a conventional, fully staffed hotel experience with an active lobby, receptionist, bar, and lounge. Instead, we were placed in a completely unstaffed, automated, self-service facility with zero on-site personnel and no elevator—forcing senior travelers to haul heavy luggage up four flights of stairs under physical strain.

Most critically, they completely breached their contractual guarantee of 24/7 emergency care. The agency failed to provide our digital check-in access codes prior to arrival, leaving us entirely stranded and locked out on a foreign street. When we repeatedly called their designated emergency line, they deliberately refused our voice calls, texted stating they were prioritizing other clients, and completely abandoned us without a remedy or a wellness follow-up.

To conclude our trip, they defaulted on our pre-paid luxury Mercedes-Benz VIP airport transfer voucher and downgraded us to a low-tier, local commercial vehicle. When confronted upon our return with an itemized fair-market valuation, management formally refused to settle amicably or itemize our billing. This agency engages in deceptive bait-and-switch marketing and leaves travelers completely vulnerable. Save your money and book directly with reputable local operators.

I appreciated the very quick and in-depth service, especially the attention to the parameters that I set and questions that I initially asked. Adam was personable, enthusiastic and thorough.

Kevin has made the planning of a special trip for myself and my son incredibly easy and fun.
