Prescription service for GLP1 is a scam

They're online service that you have to pay for in order to get a GLP1 prescription as a complete scam.

Filled out all of the information, paid, provided my IDs as a requested and received a bot reply from a fake provider stating that I was approved in my prescription had been sent to my pharmacy.

However when I log in it tells me that my medication was not prescribed and I have to pay again. They had already charged me the monthly fee and I had in writing that they sent the prescription. Checked with my Pharmacy and they received nothing from goodrx. I have tried to reach out to my so-called prescriber three times with no response and GoodRx customer service with no response.

They steal your money and don't follow through with what they say they're going to do, and if you have any issues there is literally nobody to work with to get them resolved. Additionally, they force you to go through the process of having to dispute with your credit card and then claim that they provided the service which they did not. I guess $40 is a low price to pay to learn a hard lesson and at least I know now that they're not reputable, which is good to know because if I'd had issues on this medication they would have never been around to help.

And in relation to the response from GoodRx on Mar 15. I reached out to their support team...THREE times. I have spent upwards of 2 hours contacting GoidRx thru multiple channels.

No brainer

I've used GoodRx for several years and have saved thousands of dollars. The GoodRx card hasn't cost me a dime. It's simple to use and all pharmacies seem to accept it. I just told a friend about you guys and he was shocked at the savings he made on his first use. Shocked. What else could be better? Free meds? Until then, it's GoodRx.

Would be -5 if option

Absolute WORST! GoodRX used a PA/NP out of state for prescription. Got confirmatiom of script being sent, go to pick up & get told CANT FILL because if that issue, need attending physician to sign off. Pharmacy had attempted to call to correct 30 minutes after script sent, NO ANSWER! Leave message ...NO CALL BACK!

72 hours later & STILL NO RETURNED CALL TO PHARMACY, NO RETURN CALL TO MYSELF, NO CORRECTIVE ACTIONS TAKEN!

REFUSE to answer phones, REFUSE to call back patient or pharmacy, REFUSE to answer in message center !! STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY from GOODRX CARE!!! SCAM ARTISTS !!

While the provider is licensed in your state, some pharmacies do not accept prescriptions sent by providers who practice online or across multiple states. We're sorry for the frustrations and have refunded the duplicate appointment. Please note refunds can take 5 to 10 business days to complete, depending upon your bank's processing times.

Chronic illness

I was told they couldn’t even look at me because I have rheumatoid arthritis. It should be listed before having to pay $50 that if you have a chronic illness then don’t use them. I paid money to have nothing done for a 10 second visit. They can improve by letting this information be known beforehand and by giving my money back.

Filling out online info at GoodRx for Wegovy pills. Received notification it was under review and would have an answer in a few hours. Next day nothing. Messaged thru the portal, they replied needed a better picture. Uploaded a pic, auto reply they'll respond in a few hours. Nothing. I messaged thru the portal again, this time they wanted a better gov I'd pic. I uploaded a new Pic and got the same under review a few hours for reply. Here we are a day and a half later with no reply. I've message 4 times for updates and nothing. I thought GoodRX was legit but it seems to be a scam.

My review is for GoodRX for Pets

My review is for GoodRX for Pets. In order to fill a pet prescription, GoodRX for Pets requires that your Veterinarian go to the GoodRX for Pets online portal and take on the difficult task of filing the prescription electronically with GoodRX. My vet tells me it is too much of a hardship for her to deal with the complicated and aggravating online portals of HUNDREDS of pharmacies that pet owners are using to get their prescriptions. She is willing to provide me with a signed, written prescription for me to deliver to the pet pharmacy. HERE'S THE PROBLEM WITH GOODRX FOR PETS: They will not fill your prescription unless you MAIL THE WRITTEN PRESCRIPTION TO THEM BY POSTAL SERVICE MAIL (OR FED-EX, ETC.). They will NOT allow the pet owner to fax or to scan/email the vet's written prescription to them. SO: Your dog is sick. You mail the prescription to GoodRX for Pets. It takes maybe 5-8 days for your mailing to get there. They take a few more days to actually fill the prescription. They mail it. It takes another 5-8 days to arrive at your home. Total time involved to get the prescription in hand? About 20 days. I mean....REALLY? You sick pet must wait about 20 days to get the medication? This is absurd.

3/13/2026: So, GoodRX has replied to this withering review. They tell me to initiate a call to their support team. My reply is NO, AND AGAIN NO. I have told you what the problem is. YOU CAN REPLY TO ME WITH A SOLUTION IF YOU HAVE ONE (WHICH I DOUBT). I will NOT get into your interminable phone tree with customer service to deal with this. YOU CALL ME OR WRITE TO ME WITH YOUR SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM AND WITH YOUR DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO GET MY PRESCRIPTION FILLED QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY.

The WORST most UNETHICAL company

The WORST most UNETHICAL company. Do NOT use them. They don’t care about you as a costumer. It took me over a week after many attempts (emails, calls, and voicemails) to find out why I could attend a follow up session and get my meds refilled. No answer at all. That’s so unethical. I missed a week of my meds and finally someone told me the answer was to get meds somewhere else because they don’t have a provider for my state anymore. LEFT ME FOR A WEEK WITHOUT THAT INFO. I plan legal action against

GoodRx weight loss plan

Update **I called the GoodRx help number, NOT the GoodRx CARE help line which was given in the GoodRx reply to my review. I must have been moved to the front of the line because I was contacted the next day by a provider. It was still a bit annoying because I had an unexpected video call through the GoodRx app that I missed. Again. I did not have any notification to expect a video call. Luckily I have as not at work and was able to connect with the provided the same afternoon. After a small miscommunication, I did receive my prescription, and my meds are being delivered today. So not a stress free process but it worked. I do wonder if I would have ever gotten anywhere without calling the help line.

Original review—I signed up for GoodRx weight loss plan. They took their $39 immediately. It has been a week and I have not received any communication from a provider, only an auto response saying I will be contacted in a few hours. I have emailed asking when I can expect to be contacted and again asking for a refund. No response after over 24 hours. I don't know if they are just overwhelmed with requests or this is a complete scam. No one should sign up for this service at this time. I'm hoping I will be able to get a refund but I'm not hopeful.

Absolute trash

Absolute trash. No consultation was ever scheduled and I waited online for hours. Continuously checked emails and online for notifications. I wasted my time going to the pharmacy after purchasing a prescription only to find out it was a load of crap. No prescription was ever sent. Save your time. Don’t ever use this trash services

Waste of Time and Money

Signed up for telehealth and prescription. The chat said someone would be with me within a few hours. No one replied or got back to me from medical or customer service for 5 days. It's like no one even works there. Waste of time and money.

Terrible service

Terrible service.

It may be cheap but if you need any assistance then you should find another source. All communication is via their asynchronous Chat. You never get the same person and they do not read the thread so you have to start the conversation over. It takes 24 hours between communications with no progress. They ask you to upload photos but the chat does not allow. After three weeks of back and forth I have finally given up. The value is just not there!
