Sent the wrong device then took nearly a month to respond to my email; Another month to get the wrong device back and send the correct device. All with little communication or responsibility taken.

Ever since the Retro Pocket 2, I have been buying the latest version every year. The RP2Plus had a very bad case of light-bleed, but when I contacted support, they send me a replacement screen. Amazing! The early RP4 Pro models had a wrong spring for the trigger, and Retroid will replace them for free. Mine didn't break yet, but it is amazing to know that I have the warranty if I need it. I know that I will continue purchasing from Goretroid because I know I can trust them when I need support.

It is amazing how you forget what good service is these days. It is almost like you have to go back to the future to experience good service. This is why this company stands out from the rest. The service I received was nothing short from amazing. From the customer support to the hardware repair technician, the service was great. What stood out to me is that I received great service from their technician Chris. He is the reason why I am writing this review. He kept me informed with the status of the shipping and repair. Thank you Chris or the awesome customer support. You guys rock!

Have ordered many units from them and they've always arrived in a timely fashion. I did have a defective unit once, and after troubleshooting it was replaced without any drama.

Retroid is quite possibly the only retro handheld manufacturer that puts out high-quality devices and offers both hardware and software support for them. Not only do they provide OTAs for their devices (quite frankly unheard of in the business), but they also have repair centers in multiple countries and stock just about every part you might ever need on their website. They excel in honoring warranties and addressing device issues due to manufacturing faults. Every Retroid device I've touched has been a treat to use!

The customer service is great, although my RP4-Pro was shipped with a trigger defect, the customer service helped to solve my problem promptly. The devices they sold serves the mid-end market well, and the price is reasonable.

Got my Retroid Pocket 4 pro in January when it was shipped to me. Barely used it and now one of the triggers are completely broken after not much genuine normal use. I don't have any type of tools to use to fix this, so I'm basically screwed. I know the company won't care enough to fix it, and even if they did, they'd probably charge a lot in repairs for essentially their poor quality products. I'm just sad more than anything. What a waste of money. Never buying from retroid ever again.

Have bought two products from goretroid, both came in perfect condition and continue to work great to this day. Exceptional value for what you're getting.

The Retroid pocket is a BEAST at emulation and i LOVE the size its super perfect for on the go play and STILL can handle more demanding games like Grand Turismo 4 locked at 60fps. Its played everything i throw at it with ease and ALSO plays most titles from "Geforce now" without issues.

Great value, quality, and performance for the price. Comfortably pocketable and a lot of fun. Easy to set up if you know what you're doing (or just follow the Retro Game Corps guide).

Only wish the face buttons were as tactile as the d-pad on the RP2S.

Great customer support - continuously updates and improves products

Support wasn't responding for a few days but they fixed my problem.

Superb build quality and excellent controls. Specs are top notch in this price category. A few minor bugs with the software (see Accessibility Permissions not showing Apps requesting it) but nothing that can't be (hopefully) fixed in future updates. Highly recommended devices for all your retro gaming needs on the go.

Good controls, good screen on the RP2s, good android rom (a rarity in this space)… Why no vertical though? Right now I’m stuck using a 405v for my nostalgia gameboy and I’d rather have a 6 button + dpad + 1 slider 4” 720x720 square screen t610 to play n64 and arcade on, just saying.

I bought a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro. It delivered a bit before the date, perfect package, perfect software, perfect hardware. They have a great support also.

I'm very happy with my device but there were some issues I faced initially. The battery kept having to be manually reset requiring me to get into the device and put it back together. Eventually this issue went away but it was after many times of repeating this procedure. I will say that support was quite responsive through this process so that's why I gave them a 4
