I have not yet left for my tour, but I have found that communication is horrendous. I have tried several times to reach Kate about errors and omissions on my itinerary and have not reached her or received a response. When I've called their 800 number, it usually hangs up on me. Their phone voice mail is filled and won't/can't receive messages. When I finally reached a live person, I was told that someone will return my call, but no one ever does. Emails are not acknowledged or responded to. I called DG Ventures, the parent company, and was told Kate would reply, but that never happened. This has been the most frustrating tour experience I have ever had, and I haven't even left yet. Fingers crossed that the trip goes better than the pre-trip experience. I contacted another former goscottishtours.com customer who had the same experience with them.

Just booked our 2027 trip. The booking process was easy, flexible, and Euan was very good at booking even the silly, strange requests we had.

Garreth answered our concerns clearly; he offered options and alternatives to what was first proposed that did not fit our needs.

Sharon was so helpful and polite. I am so excited for the tour she has arranged.

Just booked a trip to Scotland for 2027 July with Kate. She’s been awesome about finding exactly what we wanted and planning it out in a very specific manner. I made several changes as we planned and several calls back and forth and she was always willing to help us!

Working with Goscottishtours, specifically with Roman Shepley, to plan our vacation to Scotland is going very smoothly. So far, he has helped us book accommodations, car rental, and some golf outings. We look forward to working with Roman as we finalize the itinerary for our trip.

This was my first time planning a trip to Europe, and I wanted to look at several different options. I worked with Sean, and he did such a wonderful job presenting the benefits of booking with his team. His attention to detail, thorough communication, and kindness really made them stand out. booked a 8 day trip with go scottish tours 6 months in advance. gave them a list of all rooms. 4 double and 3 twins. when i got itnerary it said 7 doubles. called mike he said this was a typo on there part. he would fix. 2 weeks before trip my wife broke her leg. called mike to see if we could get handicap room. he said he would take care of this. when we arrived in scotland there was no handicap room and all doubles. call him he said he would take care of this. he never called any of the hotels. i call and they at least got us a handicap room in most of the hotels. this companys service after you pay is the worst. i would never recommend them

Our Travel consultant, Oisin, did a wonderful job in formulating an itinerary for our group of six with the limited information which was provided him. Based upon his recommendations a few changes were made in the planning phase of our adventure, so he was required to refine our itinerary several times. He was most pleasant and gregarious in his discussions with us and considerate of the limitations we placed on him. We very much appreciate how thoughtful he was and would highly recommend him to any of our friends and neighbors traveling to Scotland! He would have our full support in a continuing relationship with Go Scottish Tours!

Mike Connley specialist. I have worked with while my first trip to Scotland. Mike has been very accommodating to the difference between United States and Ireland. He has professional and helpful and guiding us through the very best travel itinerary.

We are in the planning stage. Roman has been great! His itinerary was perfect, everyone is excited. We have a while to go and I will add to this as time goes on.

We booked a 17 day self driving tour in Scotland with this company. We had some challenges on the trip with some of the activities that they had booked for us. Some activities that they agreed to provide were not booked and others did not fit into the logistics of the trip so we could not do them. I did speak to them after we got home and they agreed to reimburse some of our funds to reflect the value of the missed activities.

Great response from goscottishtours, Roman Shipley was knowledgeable and patient with all our questions about the 9 day tour of the Highlands and Islands, and our add on destinations we wanted. He made our decision to book the tour easy! Go Roman!

So far, amazing result with Goscottishtours! We are working with Roman Shepley, who put together a 9 day guided tour to every spot we asked to see and added 5 extra days to another region and a quick visit to Dundee to see family. He did this for us in less than a week and today we booked a trip of a lifetime back to our ancestral home next year! We are very happy and highly recommend this company to get off the tourist beaten track and really see how breathtaking Scotland is!
