Goway helped plan our two week trip to Peru and they (Virginia in particular) did a great job. The on-site logistics with Condor Travel went very smoothly, and the trip exceeded our expectations overall. They proactively suggested changes to our initial itinerary which were welcomed. I would recommend them and would work with them again in the future.

I recently went on an African Safari with my brother-in-law and sister and another couple who I knew. The entire experience was absolutely unbelievable. The complete details were flawlessly coordinated from the transfers to the breathtaking lodges. Our guides Peter showed us Kenya and Maulid Tanzania were very knowledgeable and very sharp eyes for finding the animals.
We were able to see the animals up close, learn a lot about the people, birds , vegetation etc.
We had several sundowners in the bush really added to a magical experience with beautiful sunsets.
I would highly recommend Goway to all my friends, they will not be disappointed.

Goway acknowledged my complaint but did not provide a substantive response or resolution by 9 Jul 2026.

I don't expect miracles but I do expect that they would acknowledge that we spent nearly $20k on a vacation and that they made enough mistakes that we were constantly on edge about what was next.

My wife and I used Goway, through Clarkston Travel Bureau, for our May 2026 UK and Germany trip celebrating our 40th anniversary. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we will not use Goway again.

To be clear, our local travel advisor was responsive and tried to help. Over time, though, it became clear that many of the itinerary details, supplier arrangements, documentation, and customer-care issues were controlled through Goway. Our concerns are with Goway’s planning, coordination, quality control, and lack of follow-up.

The problems started before departure. Our Stonehenge tour date was changed without our approval. Our train arrangements included connections of only 9 and 10 minutes, which were not realistic for travelers with luggage in unfamiliar train stations. One connection was adjusted only after we questioned it very close to departure.

During the trip, the itinerary repeatedly failed to account for real-world logistics. In London, tour pickup locations were not easy walking distance despite known mobility concerns. The London city tour involved hours on a bus, no actual Buckingham Palace tour, and no Changing of the Guard.

In Edinburgh, getting from the train station to the hotel was extremely difficult due to stairs, luggage, and limited accessible routing. The Hilton Edinburgh Carlton had major facade construction, and our room view was scaffolding and construction debris. Hilton also charged my credit card for the room even though the stay had been prepaid through the travel arrangement. The issue was eventually corrected, but only after multiple calls and emails over roughly two weeks.

The Heidelberg and Nuremberg portions felt poorly planned. The stays were too short, the hotels were not conveniently located, and the logistics made the stops feel more like wasted time than meaningful travel experiences.

Returning the rental car at Stuttgart train station was a nightmare. Construction blocked the usual entrance, directions were unclear, signage was poor, and we spent nearly two hours driving around while calling the rental company for help.

The Frankfurt hotel was also disappointing. It was surrounded by construction and train tracks, with graffiti on nearby surrounding property. The staff were nice and breakfast was good, but the location and comfort level were not what we expected from a professionally planned trip.

The best parts of our trip were Calw and Bayreuth, where Goway had little or no involvement in planning our daily activities.

After returning, I sent Goway a formal complaint by email and regular mail and requested compensation. Goway did not respond.

Travel always involves surprises. That is part of the deal. But this was not normal travel friction. It was a pattern of poor planning, weak supplier coordination, unrealistic logistics, and reactive customer service.

We paid for professional travel planning. What we received fell well short of that standard. We will not use Goway again.

Working with Allan is absolutely a dream. He is one of the most responsive people I’ve had the pleasure of working with and his attention to detail is unmatched. I truly wish I could just use him for every single trip I need to book.

Kimberly Brown from Goway Travel made my trip to Australia & New Zealand a very memorable and remarkable experience. Every step and detail was fantastic and I will never forget the trip of a lifetime and it was because of the experience of Kimberly. If you are thinking about taking a trip to New Zealand and Australia, I highly recommend contacting Kimberly from Goway travel.

We had a blast and felt covered by GoAway throughout. This was our first time using a travel agent and Melissa and her team made it easy. I also appreciated the quick communication while on our trip. I only wish that we got our official itinerary and tickets sooner as we did not receive them until a week prior. But it is busy season so I understand.

I can't believe there are still travel companies that only deal with US and canadian residents. I am a US resident and just because I am doing a side trip to Manila before New Zealand, this company does not want to accomodate me and my group. In this day and age, this is called discrimination.

Our trip to Japan was great. All our Goway arrangements preformed like clockwork and the guides for the tours were wonderful. Unfortunately, Mt. Fuji was in total fog but at least the lunch was very good and so was the drum solo, also our tour guide kept our spirits up ( she was the best).

Taryn picked hotels that were very convenient to the meeting point of our tours which was much appreciated and organized all aspects of our trip perfectly. So from our airport pickup to our last day in Tokyo everything ran very smoothly so we have used Goway before and will certainly use it again and reccommend Goway to others.

We had a great experience with Goaway travel our travel agent,FARNAZ. was very helpful and patient with us in planning our vacation to Greece. She was very thorough and professional and excellent with laying out our flights and our itinerary for our trip would highly recommend her very professional. Thank you again Franaz for your help and for me and my wife to have experienced a wonderful time in Greece

I wrote a Trustpilot review on April 16, 2026, of our Goway trip to Thailand in January 2026, giving it 3/5 stars, in what I feel was both a very balanced and honest review. (I tried to include a link here to that review, but it would not let me include a link within this post.) I received a reply to my post from Goway on May 7, thanking me for the review and saying that a manager would be getting in touch with me. I received an email from Goway that day asking me to verify details of our trip such as our booking number, my full name, etc., within three days, in order to verify that it was a true customer review. I replied within a day with the required details. That was over a month ago and I have not heard anything further from Goway. I want to like this company but, unfortunately, they are not making it easy.

Farnaz booked Greece and Italy - she is fantastic! She listened to our needs and planned a beautiful itinerary that everyone enjoyed. All transfers went smoothly and I am looking to book more trips with her!

I would hesitate to recommend this company. Our trip was to Portugal. Goway set us up with some good tours which we really enjoyed (Douro Valley) and Fado show. The assigned drivers arrived on time and were courteous. My issue was with their accounting and charges. The billing for our trip was exorbitant. I asked for an accounting of these charges and got no response from Goway (Alessandro Pace). These charges included hotel rooms (average accommodations) tours, drivers, etc….
Goway should be able to provide details related to their charges should a customer ask. Their reluctance to do this is why I would never recommend this company to fellow travelers.

We have used Goway Travel for previous trips and have been very happy with their excellent service. Our last trip to New Zealand and Australia was no exception. Our agent, Lori Mazzono, got tuned into the sort of trip we were hoping to have immediately. The various booking she provided were, without exception, exceptional and exactly what we envisioned, We really don't think we would have changed anything. t

Mary was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was incredibly responsive and quick to assist with every update and change my clients made throughout the planning process. Her expertise was invaluable, from recommending the perfect resorts to advising on the best way to travel between the islands.
My clients loved every moment of their trip, especially their resort stays and overwater bungalow experiences.
