So disappointed with the outcome of this , in the beginning we was told of massive tax savings, that we’d get a rebate on the previous years tax , and as stated in the engagement letter zeal is suppose to prep and submit the reports to hmrc , there was bad communication between us, the valuation report that was made was wrong even down to the house plan , the numbers with in that report was ridiculously wrong , my accountant was being left to submit the information to hmrc which is what zeal should of been doing , I ended up paying the termination fee just to end the agreement between us and zeal as I’d lost all my confidence with zeal

Total scam do not ever answer any calls or answer emails this to this bogus scam . as soon as you reply they continually harass and call continually, they have scamed me out of thousands , they do not get you tax ever but will charge you thousands to tell you the will ,

Zeal undertook the enormous task of going though 2 large boxes of invoices dating back over 12 years. They documented every single invoice to determine which ones were eligible for Capital Allowances and submitted it all to HMRC on my behalf. Very curteous and professional.

Met Mel from Zeal at a trade show, very helpful and made time to explain to us. Mel then kept us informed and arranged the survey and valuation. When our current accountants where less than helpful this was escalated to Chris who got everything moving. unfortunately we missed the deadline but that was in no way Zeals fault. Still ended up well up on the deal.

This company phoned us out of the blue and spoke with my wife saying they had looked into our Doggie daycare business that we run from home saying they could save us money etc. my wife said we did not need any help as we deal with our own affairs but he would not take no for an answer and was basically bullying her so she just said phone back and speak with my husband which he has just done I told them I deal with my own affairs and did not want there help but he just started bullying me so I hung up.I did not ask them to phone so stop phoning us and using bullying tactics.

Did what they said they would do. Would recommend

We had a phone call out of the blue and thought it was another scam call at first.
I checked with our accountant to see if the capital expenses claim is legitimate, and she said yes go ahead with it.
Matthew from Zeal phoned back and we set the wheels in motion, Zeal sent a surveyor out to us and we decided to take the lump sum minus Zeals fees and were initially told we would receive the money around the end of October early November, but due to Covid and HMRC running behind, it turned out to be the end of January.
All in all it is worth doing

When one receives a call out of the blue from a company offering to save you thousands in tax, the first reaction to something seeming to be 'too good to be true' is that this is a scam! But, I admit I was dubious, at first, and did not take up the offer initially. However, I did some research and discovered that there were considerable additional Capital Allowances I could legitimately claim for my Furnished Holiday Let, with the potential of worthwhile tax savings. When Zeal followed up their call, I agreed to proceed. They worked with my accountant all the way and this week HMRC has confirmed a tax reduction of over £1000. Of course, Zeal charge for their services, but, as these Capital Allowances go forward, reducing year-on-year, I am confident that by the second year, the tax savings will have more than covered Zeal's charges. I expect to be saving a net total of about £2000 by year 5, with more smaller savings going forward. Jessica at Zeal was very helpful and easy to deal with and their surveyor, Josh, was very efficient doing the required survey on my property. If you are contacted by Zeal, it may be worth checking whether they could save you some tax.

Thanks to Matthew I’ve had a huge tax saving over the next few years which I’d never have known about. I am happy to recommend Zeal to anyone who has doubts.
