Kept informed via tracking service and e Mail as to when my parcels would be delivered. Received a phone call when they were approximately 30 minutes away and arrived on time. Very courteous delivery... Toon meer

This a fraudelent company

This a fraudelent company. They sent me a email today saying my delivery got cancelled and i have to pay a custom fee with my details. Also they sent me two wrong products my dining table and 3 broken chairs. They regocnused this and ever since they keep saying it is with courier and will update and book delivery. Its been over 3 months and now they just completely ignore me. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. They are completely cowboy buisness and here to rip you off.

Absolutely shocking service! AVOID.

Absolutely shocking service!! From the start this company have been nothing but a nightmare. I finally get a collection date for them to collect an item, I was given time slot 10am-1pm. I took a day off work to be here because the time slot was so large. 1:30pm I called the office to say no collection has been made and I’ve been given no update. The guy, who I can only assume is the only one in the office as it’s only him I catch, told me I was the next stop and they were only in Pevensey which is 24 minutes from my house. Great. I still have not heard anything from the driver, no update from the company and now the office isn’t taking any calls!! I’m absolutely disgusted and so frustrated.
The item being returned is my bed. It’s been taken apart ready for them to collect. I now have nothing to sleep on if they do not turn up and I’ve been told before they don’t work on weekends. Cannot see this being picked up now and I cannot get a new bed until this one being collected is returned and refunded. SO SO angry!!!!!!

Unhappy

Unhappy. Order from Portabello. I was told they can’t possibly get the sofas in and ‘didn’t you measure it first love’ Patronising driver. They did get the sofas in through the back no problem, once I had suggested it. I was told though that it would cost me as they only have a to the door delivery service. I told them Nope I’ve got an into the living room delivery service. Cowboys and chancers. The van looked like a dodgy hire van. This isn’t a good look for the companies using them.

Hi Claire, unfortunately your ire is misadvised as we are instructed by Portabello to complete a doorstop delivery if there is an access issue, which our drivers merely mentioned. Yes, they did eventually get it in via the rear entrance however we refute your claims of extra charges. All Portabello customers are advised to measure their front door entrances for ease of access, as all sofas are bespoke. If this diligence is not carried out, the sofas must be delivered one way or another which our helpful drivers went the extra mile in doing for you. It is disappointing that you have not appreciated our efforts. Kind regards, GPL

Terrible service

Terrible service ! Delivery rearranged as their van broke down last week ! Customer service not helpful at all , I’ve refused the delivery they left the item - sofa in the middle of they pathway outside blocking the way ! I shall be contacting the supplier to organise collection as they refused to take it back when informed I am not happy to accept the delivery

as advised and constantly informed throughout your experience with us, there was a hiccup the on the initial attempt as our vehicle had experienced a breakdown before it reached your property. Once it was rearranged, we can see that your delivery was completed on the day within your delivery window that was offered. Unfortunately, your grievances are not a reflection of our service provided as the unpack and room of choice service wanted is not the service that was requested to us by the retailer. Great wardrobe, came on time, nothing missing

Ordered three door wardrobe which came on the correct date. I am very happy with it. It was well wrapped, all the parts (flat pack) were there. All in all couldn't fault it. I did have to wait 2 hours over the designated time but the lads were very pleasant and nice to deal with.

This company should not be trading

This company should not be trading. They employ staff and hold there payments back. They make drivers work over 16 hours a day without a break, un road worthy vans. Once you decide to leave they try not paying and ignoring. Absolute shambles of a company, treat customers items like dirt stepping all over and throwing them around avoid at all costs!!@@

After getting through to gp and luxuary ratten…

After getting through to luxuary ratten and the delivery company they apologised their I.t equipment was down but could change things on my order etc, promised me it'll be here today now from both company's and guess what, due for unforeseen circumstances in the warehouse today's been cancelled , taken 2 days off work for this mind, they can swivel and cancel now I don't want it, please please don't go with either of theses, an absolutely disgusting unacceptable company's

AVOID!!!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!

Ordered furniture from Luxury Rattan a few weeks ago, waited for a delivery date from this company and was given the date of 8th August, waited in all day and night however no one showed up or bothered to tell me that they were not going to show up! Rang this company numerous times (Don’t bother wasting your time ringing them) but they don’t answer their phones, it cuts you off after 10 minutes. I finally got through to someone the following day to be told their utter dog crap excuse (which is an excuse they tell everyone by the looks of these reviews) there was a problem in the warehouse and my order wasn’t scanned. Stupidly waited again for another delivery date which was supposed to be today 12th August, however received an email at 11pm last night to say they cannot deliver my order due to unforeseen circumstances in the warehouse - what a joke!! I have now told Luxury Rattan to cancel my order as I am not giving these absolute scammers the time of day again. Don’t know why companies are using this firm, it just withholds furniture and tells lies.

Cowboys!

Terrible service, ordered from Luxury Rattan, despite numerous delivery confirmation emails, delivery slot has been and gone. No answer on the phones, waited c10mins each time before being cut off. Still heard nothing back. Avoid these cowboys if you can!

IF you enjoy 'customer service' who…

IF you enjoy being told lies by 'customer service' IF you enjoy being sent a 'track your order' that doesn't work 3 times in a row, IF you like being told by 'customer sevice' that you can NOT book a delivery date 3 weeks in advance BUT the CEO had stated you CAN on his profile on Linked In, IF you are happy to believe 'customer service' that the drivers are so inept and incompetent that they are incapable of answering their built-in phone for 3 hours, IF you are happy to waste days at a time waiting for deliveries that don't arrive, IF you are happy to believe that there has been a Road Traffic Accident at 10 a.m. so your delivery has been cancelled for the rest of the day and yet the A.A. informs that there are NO major road closures, IF you can bear the excitement of not knowing if your order will arrive at all, EVER and have 'customer service' be rude to you IF you like unhelpful drivers, who don't bother to wear uniforms (see their website) and leave 85-year-olds to assemble a Super King bed and headboard then THIS IS the company for you and what's more you are welcome and jolly good luck to you. GP Logistic Services deserves every single ONE STAR rating they get.

I was pleased with overall experience…

I was pleased with overall experience with the delivery. Although they could have helped me to open the boxes to check the goods if they were damaged during transportation. Re there then standing around waiting for me to check and the boxes.
