4 weeks to respond to a customer query who was having issues with dropped calls? Excuse was "we were managing the merge with OneCom" (who are dreadful anyway). Totally unacceptable.

We use Gradwell on a daily basis for our clients broadband lines and phones. The support we get from them is really good and i would recommend them to anyone. I deal a lot with Jason in checking up on Jobs that have to be escalated and he is really good in getting back to us and helping out in making sure they are dealt with promptly.

Really bad experience. Transferring customers directly to Gradwell saw a lack of communication between Gradwell internal departments and customers. After the transfer was completed, it was equally as bad, with invoices still appearing with our company name, and customers having incorrect extensions added. Contacting support was a nightmare, and one of our customers told us that Gradwell blamed the migration on our company. A total farce from start to finish - our customers and our company has lost any confidence in Gradwell. For these reasons, we are more than likely to recommend alternate suppliers such as justcall (whom have excellent support) and ensure they stay away from a bad experience such as Gradwell.

Wish we had never gone with Gradwell
We are a design business that is based in Bath like Gradwell. We moved to our current office 2.5 years ago after having been in local serviced offices and having briefly met in person we were inspired by what you guys were doing, your vision and your ambition to disrupt this industry when it was dominated by the big players who cared about profit over anything else.
In our new office we had the choice of an Openreach delivered EFM service, bonding multiple broadband lines, or a virgin media service. The Openreach service delivered by Gradwell was quite a lot more expensive than other options that were available from Virgin Media. Plus there was a hefty upfront installation cost too. But we wanted to work with you, as you were a start up company, based in the same city, we felt we shared the same ambition, vision and ethos, we’d rather spend more with you than spend less with a big player.
Disappointingly, over the last 2.5 years we had had numerous issues with our broadband and phone services. It would slow down to less than 1MB down almost every other month, and once it fell back onto our ADSL fail safe altogether. We tried calling your support line. Option 2 is for broadband but it was NEVER answered. We eventually got through to someone by selecting option 1 (VOIP support) and begging that person to grab someone from Broadband service team to speak to us. We were told everything was fine, it must have been our modem. It took 5 days and a call out to our IT company (Systemagic) to convince your team that th line was broken and it was finally fixed.
After a fairly dissatisfying couple of years, our initial passion for working with Gradwell wore thin and we decided to terminate the service with you and move to Virgin Media.
I phoned your customer service to check if we were out of contract and I was told we were, although the original order paperwork was for a 3 year fixed term. However, when we tried to cancel in writing we learned that the original paperwork still stands and we have seven months remaining, which is £1400.
I tried to settle it for £700 but was told no and then I appealed to Peter Gradwell, the founder. He did respond promptly and explained that £700 was below cost, but offered to waive any profit on the contract and let us buy it out for £980, which we have agreed to do so.
In hindsight We wish we had gone with virgin in the first place as for our premises they have a better broadband product available than Gradwell could have provided.

Gradwell Support are going from strength to strength. I have partnered with Gradwell for over 12 years and now find a real determination to be proactive in ensuring that their infrastructure is robust. On the rare occasion that Technical issues occur they are on a mission to resolve things quickly.
The Out of Hours Response Team works well too. Jason Spencer is a dedicated leader of this team and is helping to continually improve the Service.
