lovely low priced Hawaiian getaway.
This was an amazing trip. The Hilton’s we stayed at were amazing. The flights went okay though I would have been happier without a 5 hour lay over in LAX on return. All in all even that was ok too. Southwest has very clean and new planes and comfy. I would have liked sitting next to my husband from LAS to KOA. Nice vacation and lovely getaway for the money. Will definitely do it again.

Customer service is good
Customer service is good, called several time, waiting times are within 5 minutes, and agents are always helpful.
Only issue we have is one of the hotels does not have free breakfast, when called, it says it's our choice when placed the order, and actually it's not.

Unbeatable deal
This was my 3rd time going to HI thru GVV. Never thought I could afford Hawaiian vacation for real. I have gifted this deal to other families celebrating special occasions. I got a 4 day 3 night deal for $500 pp with flight/hotel included sounds too good to be true but if you have flexibility in your travel dates, it’s a no brainer. Just add $100 pp per day if you want to add more days. First you can use up to 3 CC if you are booking multiple people. We got an ocean view room with waived resort fee in a 4 star hotel which will run you almost $400/night if booking on your own. Round trip flight to HI on a low season is around $400 pp. I did not rent a car as everything is walkable from our hotel. All the buses, trolleys for excursions stop right across the hotel. Purchase the travel insurance if plans change then you can rebook or reschedule the trip. When you email or call to rebook, DO NOT cancel the trip. Just say you want to reschedule or rebook. Learned it the hard way the 1st time. Always booked the earliest direct flight so we were there by 3 pm local time & had time to enjoy & walk around. Just got back from the trip with plenty of memories & greater appreciation of nature

When checking in for my flights that…
When checking in for my flights that you had booked, my name was typed wrong and I had to go to the airport the day before my trip and try to get it fixed since you guys were not open or nor responding to emergency emails. Thankfully, the airfare was able to find the original voucher and make the change, but if not, I would’ve missed my flight the next day and not been able to take the trip that I had planned for months. When I contacted you guys, you said you were not the one who entered the name except that can’t be true because my name was entered correctly on all the communications I had gotten from you previously and it was wrong on the airfare, but you were the ones who booked the airfare with the package that I purchased. I was disappointed with the customer service that I received.

Paid for the Castle, got something else
Booked and paid for the “Tuscan Castle Experience” in July 2025 for April 2026. In February2026, Great Value informed us that we no longer had a reservation, and we were being moved to a property an hour south. All of our plans had been built around or location just outside of Florence. Great Value provided no help to get our reservation back. They blamed the property for the problem. The property blamed the ownership group. I had to independently find the property management and even then, I was only able to get two nights at the Castle, instead of the six we paid for.
The Castle itself is cool. Nice grounds. Lovely building. It’s a little odd that you have to take your own garbage out and sort it in recycling bins, and per their reception information, they only provide a days worth of soap and toilet paper. Our room had more than a days worth, but we did have to take out our garbage/recycling. The Restaurant was over priced and understaffed, but there was a wonderful local restaurant that was both excellent and inexpensive.
The lack of accountability for the problem was the worst part. Not only did we not get what we paid for, we were forced to accept what the property gave us, or another inferior, non-castle property, and if we didn’t they would have cancelled our reservation and “refunded” $500 with which we were supposed to find 6 nights accommodation for four people just before our vacation was supposed to begin.

To help address the situation, we provided a selection of comparable alternative accommodations, along with the option of a refund so you could arrange accommodations independently. Based on the overall package value — including roundtrip international airfare, six nights of accommodations, and a rental car for under $730 per person — we believed the refund offered was fair and appropriate.
We also understand that you contacted the original property directly to arrange a split stay. They were able to accommodate your requests by providing two bathrooms at the first property and two separate apartments at the second property at no additional charge.
We hope that, despite these challenges, you were still able to enjoy your trip overall.

We flew to Athens arrived at the…
We flew to Athens arrived at the airport. No one picked us up so we had to find our own way to the hotel which cost us 80 euros. The travels around were great. Then we go to Rome airport to fly home the flight was delayed for 3 hours . Which we never understood the plane was there we boarded it and waited. This meant we missed our connecting flight in Montreal. We finale flew at 8PM 4/23/26 back to Boston and got home just before midnight. Thats why you get 3 stars!!! James Wilkinson

My first time booking with Great Value Vacations and I’m glad I did! It was such a great deal, everything as promised, the hotel, the flights, everything was perfect! The only feedback that I would give is to allow an option to upgrade after the fact at a reasonable price. I was skeptical with the company in the beginning so I got the cheapest package, and didn’t get the insurance, then later I wanted to upgrade but the price jumped up double so I opted not to. Overall, I will definitely book with Great Value Vacations.
