The Air Heating system installed by Green home systems is an amazing heating system
The whole job was done in like military precision the squad of guys all knew there job & it was done in no time all our new loft insulation & all the different rooms with new cladding & then plastered the house looks amazing with the work they have done even before we paint & decorate
But the heating system with its remote control & it has our cottage roasting in no time plus our new boiler for our hot water constant
Our solar panels are all installed & working away lovely they will be better in the summer then we will get our return from grid
But the full job from start to finish was done brilliant & all the worker were brilliant as well but as we were told what would happen did in no time at all
Plus Green home systems called myself regularly with updates etc & keeping in touch with us making sure we were happy with everything which we were more than happy with there service I would say it’s a lot better than 5 Star Service nothing was a problem to them just got on with the job & even had a good laugh & banter with the guys
All the different workers all took time & care to cover everything & clean up after themselves
They all were a brilliant bunch of guys
& I would recommend them to anyone

I had a rep from this company delivering leaflets at my house today. He then started slagging off windfarms and the Scottish Government. Not really appropriate for a green energy company. Put it in the bin.

We have just had work on our house completed and we are delighted with all of it. We had all Insulation and ventilation installed, Solar Panels and Air Source Central Heatiing. The workmen were all exceptional very polite and helpful plus always left everything tidy.
We would certainly recommend Green Home Systems to everyone.

They helped me out by explaining how. System worked and were extremely helpful in giving me a quote for total works.Graham was very helpful in explaining how everything worked.

I would advise anyone who is thinking of having ECO4 Scheme work done buy this company to look elsewhere!!
We had Greenhome in to insulate, put solar panels up & install a heat pump. To say the entire experience was a nightmare was an understatement! Every job they did was botched, had had to be done twice over.
Insulation around windows done all wrong, had to be ripped out and re-done because they were pouring with condensation. This caused damage to all our window frames, scored, chipped and burnt! They wanted to put solar panels on a north facing roof, would give us 2 extra panels if we let them. We didnt! So they put them on a carport roof that is now like a sieve as they drilled all through the roof after assuring us they would not do that. All the solar electric cables have been left exposed and not dug in as promised.
They Sent plasterers in that left our walls in an awful mess, 4 times they came back out to try and put it right, they ended up with more filler on them than plaster.
Their joiners spilt solvent over our real wood floor, then mopped it all over the room, laughing while they tried to clear it up. The floor is now badly damaged. They put the window ledges on level with the window glass, this had to be re-done causing more damage to the frames. Our boiler has not worked properly since they removed our radiators, after they left us 6 months without heating.
They removed our working extractor fans in both bathrooms and replaced them with...you guessed it, extractor fans that do not work!
I could go on with the issues & damages but it would take forever.
We had a company director come to the house, and he was disgusted with the shocking workmanship, he even pointed out issues we didnt notice. He promised us compesation, a free solar battery & free servicing of the solar panels & heat pump for the first year as the work was so bad.
We asked for all the corrective work and damages to be rectified before we left them put the heat pump in, but they kept stalling and just pushing to put the heat pump in. At this point we had lost all confidence in them and said we no longer wanted the heat pump.
This is were it all ended, suddenly another company director said the work wasnt bad (even though in earlier conversations he said we would be compensated for all the damages!) we could keep the solar panels and they were walking away, we told them we didnt want the panels, we just wanted our home put back to the way it was before they came in and caused all the damage. He denied the damages and that was the last we heard from them!
We now have to replace 5 windows, replace a real wood floor that flows through the entire house, get walls re-plastered, replace all skirten boards as they are all falling off(yep their joiners couldnt even put them on right!) Oh and we have damp and mould in rooms we have never had it in before.
Oh and if you do go with this company, expect all their workmen to ask if this is free grant work or paid work. My advice to you is tell them its paid, they maybe a bit more proffesional about their work!

I would like to say from start to finish Green Homes Systems were very efficient at installing air source heating, solar and battery, each workers arrived always on time.

I was initially very daunted by the thought of undertaking such a major project- fitting an Air Source Pump, solar panels and a house full of new pipes and radiators, along with loft insulation. My anxiety was through the roof!! However Green Home Systems made the entire process seamless- especially Karli in the office who really put my mind at ease.

I was kept informed every step of the way, and everything ran like clockwork, with only a couple of minor snags that were quickly resolved. In hindsight, all my worry was for nothing. From start to finish every tradesperson involved was first class. One evening, the electricians even stayed past 9pm to complete the solar panel hook up- truly going above and beyond.

The team kept the mess to a minimum and everything was contained in one area, and it was all cleared away the day after the work was completed. Looking at my house now, you’d never guess such a major overhaul had just taken place. It was all left spotless and tidy.

I’m now looking forward to a cozy winter. While I will miss my coal fire, I’m relieved I won’t have to brave the typical Scottish wind and rain to fetch coal anymore, and there’ll be no more coal dust to deal with.

Be warned, this company do not accept any blame for poor workmanship that they have carried out. Despite the surveyor stating the standard of the job was non existent,that the job had not even been to the remit of the work that would have been required at that time and also agreed that the company would have claimed the full amount of funding for the job ( i have a recording of this) and needed rectification the company have tried to claim it was done to the correct standard at the time. Once they have the money they fail to meet any obligation to the customer which is this case was an elderly lady. Now taking this matter to the ombudsman as the buck ultimately stops with their company regardless of whom within the company did the work and at what time. Stay clear is my advise of a company that won't take responsibility for its work and lack of standards

Hi my name is Steven we were looking for a new heating system as my current system was a cash register with elements as the winter in Scotland is very poor we were trying to heat one room and as our bills were £250 A month it was time to do something about it when I contacted greenhomes systems in March I filled out the forms as I have a disability i qualified for a government grant and we were more than happy with the level of professionalism overall my contact trough the work was karli she went above and beyond letting me know what was happening and reassure me and my wife we have had the heating in now about a month and it is very comfortable not in just one room in every room also the loft insulation and solar panels make a huge difference my smart meter shows when the solar is working and I'm more than happy with the greenhomes systems and the Team and would recommend them to take care of you as they did for us a big thanks

Green Home last year installed wall insulation, an air source heat pump, a battery and solar panels in my home. Their prices were competitive and their installers came on the time and date they said they would. They did a really tidy efficient installation and cleaned up afterwards.
This year, after getting 3 quotes from different firms I asked them to install an EV charger. The EV charger installation was done really accurately and efficiently with the cables run under the floor minimising disruption and the EV charger positioned where I wanted it with the electrician using a cable containment system which made the installation visually very neat and tidy, this was important as it is located at the front of the house. Another plus was that Green Home were happy to fit the EV charger that I chose, which was not the case with other companies I approached. After installation the charger worked immediately with no snagging issues. I have no hesitation in recommending Green Home as they are very professional and really accommodating of any requests I made.

Had underfloor insulation installed yesterday, guys were at the door just after 8am and worked tirelessly until the job was complete.
All said,the experience with Green Home Systems has been painless. The administration side of things were excellent, being kept up to date regarding funding, survey and installation. Being courteous as I had a recent family bereavement.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Green Home Systems.

Installed a series of solar panels on my roof with a hybrid converter. Job done under eco4 scheme so I don't know the cost but the crew were efficient, worked quickly and tidied up when they were done.
System is looking good and relevant paperwork has arrived.
Overall very happy to recommend!

The process was very easy from beginning to end. Andrew in the office was brilliant, always returned calls and emails and answered any questions I had. The sparks (didn't get thier names) were very informative and the boys installing the panels were quick, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. The biggest job was replacing all the pipes, radiators and boilers which Fraser and Ryan did all week. They were fantastic, friendly, on time, kept me happy throughout the entire process (which isn't always easy) and completely tidied up as if they were never there. Would highly recommend

We used these guys as they were one of the companies who could do the cavity wall insulation through the home
Energy Scotland scheme. Turned out we didn’t need it and they did loft and underfloor insulation. Guys turned up at around 11am everyday and done a couple of hours work then left… charged a lot for the work which thankfully a lot was paid for by home energy Scotland. They were to relay loft flooring and they only did half of the agreed area and it was a bit of a fight to try and get them to do what was required but they did eventually. Quite bad comms during the job. The guys who did the loft and underfloor insulation were nice guys.
