Love my new Greenwood leather bag. I use it for my laptop and I feel like Indiana Jones.

Ordered a bag from Canadian site. Item never arrived. Super slow communication from company to address the issue. Eventually, they just stopped responding. I needed to go through my credit card company to get my money back. How a business can sell things that don't arrive after purchase and not bend over backwards for the customer is beyond me. Shop somewhere else.

I was kept up to date on where my package was and it was delivered as was indicated. My bag was beautifully packaged and arrived im perfect condition. I’m absolutely thrilled with my bag and the workmanship on it is just perfect. I’ll carry it with great pride and use it when I head to the UK next month. Thank you.

Purchase, shipping and use has been fine. BUT now one of the clips has broken and I've sent multiple emails and tried ringing over number of weeks and get no response and the phone not answered. Should be a simple replacement clip and I'm happy. But all I get is crickets and if I have to replace the bag, it won't be with Greenwood.

Was going to buy a few of their bags during the EOFY sales. Decided to buy only one instead in order to test the brand out first. Goods received had a stain on the leather at the front of the bag. So I won't be back. Their loss. It doesn't pay to treat customers like that.

I bought a leather tote bag in May 2026, bag arrived without a problem. After a few weeks of using it, I noticed stains on my shirt. I contacted Greenwood about it but there was no response. After going through their website, I saw how to take care of the leather and it did say that it could bleed, so my bad. However, I had bought another bag and wallet from them before and there was no problem. After I sorted out the stains, I noticed that one of the dome studs on the front pocket of the bag was gone. Luckily I found it in the pocket. I put it back in the hole, but realized that it needed to screw or press into something for it to be secured. As there was a lining, it was not easy. I felt like there was something under the lining, so I pressed the dome/stud into it. While it stayed, it didn't take long for it to come loose again. I have sent emails and photos, to Greenwood asking what would be their advice as to how I can secure the dome, but so far no answer. This is very poor customer service.

After posting this review and After emails to Greenwood Leather Australia, they wrote back apologizing for not responding earlier, but apparently it was a long weekend in Australia and noone was working, even though I sent the email on a Wednesday.
Anyway they offered to cover the cost of repairing my bag.
To their credit, they have refunded $20 the cost of the repair. Thank you.
While I am grateful, it doesn't alter the fact I had to travel about 20kms to get my bag repaired. This was supposed to be a good quality bag and this shouldn't have happened.
The other products I have bought from Greenwood have been great.

I bought a small wallet 3 weeks ago and one of the leather straps has already come undone. Very disappointed with the quality.

The description said the bag is made from 'Full Grain Leather', which is a descriptor for very high quality leather. But the item itself is stamped as 'Genuine Leather', which is term used for much lower quality leather.

It's an unhelpful term, but 'Genuine Leather' is actually what's left after the good stuff (Top and Full grain) is removed.

When you buy a cheap wallet from a dollar store, it's usually going to be 'Genuine leather'. That's what they're selling here.

Bag arrived. Finish on leather is disgusting.

I purchased a Greenwood leather bag a few weeks ago. Very Prompt service. I am enjoying my Canadian made bag and is made with good quality leather with many compartments.

I recently bought a backpack from Greenwood Leather and I’m really impressed with the quality. The leather feels premium, the design is stylish, and it’s very comfortable to carry. Great craftsmanship and definitely worth the purchase. Highly recommended! 👍🎒

Just received my Hamilton Sling this morning. I ordered it on Friday and received it first thing Monday morning here in Canada. Love everything about the experience, the vintage look of the bag, the quality of the materials, the value for money, the fast shipping and order tracking and the personal thank you email after purchase. I'll be recommending Greenwood and I will be buying more

Placed order. Funds collected, SAME day. Then NOTHING FOR 3.5 WEEKS. Kept emailing requesting shipping information, NO RESPONSE. Finally get a response blaming "tarrifs"... had ordered AND RECEIVED SEVERAL OTHER ITEMS FROM CANADA ETC AFTER THIS ORDER SO, LIES. I start the process with my bank to take back my funds AND MAGICALLY IT HAS "SHIPPED" NO SHIPPING EMAIL NOTHING. STAY FAR AWAY THIS COMPANY IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM

Ordered a purse for my mother. The interior stitching was coming apart. I emailed them twice. No response. Stay away.

The product that arrived was not as advertised. Completely different interior lining to the one pictured. No indication on the website that internals may be different to what is pictured. Different colour, different interior pockets. I would not have chosen this product had I known. Have contacted the company. Based on others reviews I’m not expecting to hear back. All great reviews on the website and elsewhere. Wish I had found these reviews before parting with $200+. Steer clear of these people.

I purchased two items, a briefcase and a leather travel bag. The briefcase was fine and met expectations. The travel bag was in very poor condition, and it required a week of cleaning, conditioning and polishing before it was presentable. Green Wood sought a review through their website, and I provided the above comments. For some reason their reviews were not available for a time. Now the reviews are available my 1 Star comment is not included, AND no contact from the company.

Received my bag in good time but it does NOT look like the image on the website. It's like the vibrancy of the colours was digitally maxed on the website because mine is rather dull coloured. Contacted them and they don't even have the decency to respond.

Purchased Greenwood leather briefcase in September 2022. By early 2024 one of the clips was broken. By end of 2024 the second clip had broken. Have emailed Greenwood twice asking for advice on repair and they won't even reply to me.

I have contacted them twice - once by the online contact form and then a follow-up email - about one of their products because of a confusing description and haven't heard back from them. Haven't even gotten the chance to BUY anything from them because I don't know if the product I'm looking at will do what I need it to do (which then brings up the fact that their product descriptions contradict each other, like saying "fits a 16-inch laptop in the reinforced compartment" but only has a "13-inch reinforced laptop compartment").
100% would NOT recommend.
