This company recently replaced 2 leaking Velux windows in our roof. Dylan performed the initial inspection and assessment, and explained clearly the options available, with conservation/heritage style windows being chosen due to the nature of the property. On the day of the installation the work was completed by mid afternoon, and the installation team also secured a loose slate abutting a third window free of charge. The team did a great job of cleaning up and left the house spotless. I was particularly impressed by the neatness of the internal work. I thought there would inevitably be minor damage to plaster and paintwork during the removal of the old windows, but great care was obviously taken, and if you were not aware of the appearance of the old windows you would struggle to see that any work had been done. On the basis of this experience I would highly recommend this company, and will use them again in the future if other windows need replacement or repair.

We are over the moon with our replacement Velux windows. The company was extremely professional and friendly. They came out to confirm that they could circumnavigate our extremely tight staircase to the loft (which is our bedroom). They were very quick and protected flooring and bed. There was no damage or mess and the final result is beautiful. Would highly recommend this company.

Very happy with the completed work. Installation carried out in a professional manner with the minimum of fuss. Workmen tidied the work area when work completed and left it looking better than before they started - carpet in (storage only) loft had its first vacuuming for quite a while...plastering also completed to a high standard.

Efficient office staff always friendly and polite - relevant paperwork e-mailed without delay.

The replacement of a 40 year old Velux Bathroom roof light was carried out efficiently and skilfully.
The two installers could not have been more pleasant or helpful leaving the interior and outside clean and tidy.

What a transformation to our south facing leaking Amdega cedar conservatory. NECS / Dylan have been very professional from the first visit. All the work has been carried out to an excellent standard. We now have a room with 2 solar velux roof lights that will be far more useable year round. All NECS’s installers were very efficient and our Guardian roof looks fantastic. If we had known what they have done was possible we would have done it years ago. Again thanks to all including Dylan, Steve, the surveyor as well as all the fitters. The quality of the work needs to be seen to be believed. Thank you.

Velux window replacement. Great service from NECS from the initial contact to Dylan for the visit and price and then to the fitting. The fitters arrived promptly, were very friendly and were really careful in and out of the house with the new and old windows. They put protection down to ensure the carpets were not dirtied and were spotlessly clean throughout the installation despite finding that the original windows had not been fitted correctly. The whole job was done quickly and to our total satisfaction. I would not hesitate in using NECS again and would highly recommend them.

New VELUX. Great experience from start to finish from the initial consultation with Dylan to the fitting with Connor and Jamie. Arrived promptly, smiley, chatty and cheerful (despite fitting in hail at one point). Really careful in and out of the house with the new and old window. They put extra protection down to ensure my new floor was not damaged however there was zero mess. The job was done quickly and totally hassle free. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

We had one faulty electric velux window which would not open. Dylan sent his technicians to visit the our property and discovered the motor was faulty.We agreed a price with Dylan for it replacement and also fitment of blinds to two of our velux windows. A few weeks later the technicians returned for the work to be carried out. Excellent service from this company, so much so I am asking them to quote for further work to be done to other velux windows we have in our house.

Just wanted to let you know that we are really happy with the customer service, the product and the work being done on our conservatory. Connor, Jamie and Luke did a great job, were very efficient and professional. We were also impressed with Ashley, who did the plastering on a very long day and commute. Also the local electrician James was a good choice and did his part perfectly.
We are now looking for new furniture and will decorate it next 😁. When everything’s finished it will be a massive improvement to our home.

We chose Dylan from NEC for a quote to modify an fit a remote control system to a VELUX bathroom window fitted on the flat roof on the 2nd storey of our house. My wife and I are in our early - if that is the right label- 80’s and can no longer cope with the 3mtr long pole needed to open & shut it.

The window has been in regular daily use for nearly 20 years and we were not certain we would be able to find a genuine VELUX company willing to do the work. We went t North East Conservatory Solutions because their site looked inviting and they listed a VELUX service.

We arranged a visit and Dylan arrived on time next day. . We had thought that the window was too old and we would need a complete new one.
Happily that was not the case and a couple of days later received a very reasonable quote and a proposed date for the work.
My wife and I were very doubtful if we would be luck and get a dry day in view of the awful weather recently.
But we were and the crew (2) turned up on time and completed the work with skill and care.
We are so happy with the results and convenience of opening and closing the window without the pole we wondered why it took
so many years to go that way!

From start to finish very smooth operation from survey by Guardian to site measure by John from NECS who explained any questions we had to the lads that did the fitting of the new warm roof was extremely professional.
The guys turned up early on the 2 days it took to replace the roof and worked there socks and left the place very clean and tidy would have no problem in recommending this company to do any work for you.
Even the plasterer did a fabulous job and stayed late to finish and was very tidy first class job all round we love our new warm roof so much warmer than the old conservatory.
I would not hesitate to recommend NECS company if you need any work doing top class.

From my first contact until completion of the work I was really impressed with this company. Initial contact was with Dylan who arrived promptly and explained what the job entailed. I happily accepted the quotation for my old Velux window and blind to be replaced with a solar powered window and blind. After a short wait, while the window was being made, Jamie and Conor arrived to carry out the work. They were both very friendly and worked in a clean and organised manner and were happy to answer any questions I had. The operation of the window and blind were demonstrated and my home left neat and tidy. I look forward to better weather so I can make full use of my new Velux window. My thanks to all concerned.
