About us
We're Habitat, Australia's newest leading name in pet supplies.
Established in 2012, we're based in Melbourne, with stores in Altona North, Burwood and Chirnside Park - but wherever in Australia you and your pet live, you can shop with us online!
Why choose Habitat? Simple...

- No-nonsense flat rate shipping
- Wherever you live, whatever you order, we'll send it to your door for a convenient, flat rate cost.
- So many ways to pay
- Pets hate waiting. We know how they feel. We offer Afterpay and Zip as payment options, so you can get your paws on your order sooner rather than later.
- Free Click and Collect
- So you're a local? Great! Shop online, use our Click and Collect option, and you can come and collect your order from either of our stores as soon as it's ready (and meet the Habitat team while you're in! We're a really nice bunch of humans, if we don't say so ourselves...)
Only the best
Because we get what it's like to love your pet
At Habitat, we stock only the best brands - the kind of products we trust with our own pets. Like our CEO, Hugo. Here he is, outside our Chirnside Park store!

Hi There Habitat!!
Hi There Habitat!!
You are my ‘go to’ company when I can’t get a 5 kg box of Blackdog Charcoal Biscuits and the NAS Seaweed, which I give to my 14yr old Australian Koolie daily in her food. She needs the extra nutrition but NOT the calories! I ordered a 5 kg box of those Blackdog Charcoal Biscuits on the same day as I ordered a box from Better Pets and Gardens in Midland and your order arrived here in High Wycombe WA 3 days BEFORE the order from our local store arrived!! Good on ya Habitat, you’re THE BEST (& biscuits are cheaper from you too!! Go figure……).

My Labs Love Habitat Dry Food
All good. My Labradors love your dry food for breakfast.
The staff carried the goods to my car for me.
Just wish you'd open an outlet closer to the Mornington Peninsula.
