My colleagues and I visited the Hackstons store in Knightsbridge on the 7th of November. From the moment we walked in, Samuel and Vida greeted us with warm smiles and expertly guided us through the store's impressive whisky selection, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable start to finish.

To give you an idea of the layout, the store is thoughtfully divided into three distinct zones:

The Walk-In Area: This section showcases an extensive selection of whiskies and spirits, which was perfect for our initial exploration, with options suited to a variety of occasions.

The Premium Range Section: As you move further into the store, the selection becomes increasingly refined. Reflecting on our experience, it’s hard to imagine you wouldn’t find exactly what you’re looking for here, whether you’re a collector, a passionate whisky connoisseur, or a more casual enthusiast.

The Whisky Tasting Library: Our visit culminated in this exclusive space, where invited clients can delve into the whisky distillation process firsthand. Samuel and Vida did a fantastic job at walking us through the aroma profiles and histories of the whiskies we tasted, making the session an unforgettable learning experience.

The store’s design is truly remarkable, incorporating elements that pay homage to the origins of many fine whiskies. Each bottle is beautifully presented, with uplighting casting a warm, mesmerizing amber glow that highlights the selection.

The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between elegance and approachability, creating an atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and welcoming. It’s something that really must be experienced in person, as words simply don’t do it justice.

Samuel and Vida made the experience exceptional. They took the time to understand our preferences and past experiences, offering recommendations that perfectly matched our tastes and curiosities. Their combined expertise was remarkable; they weren’t just describing bottles and flavors, but sharing the craftsmanship and stories behind them, making every recommendation feel meaningful.

Personally, the bourbon tasting was the highlight for me. Every sample was outstanding, making it nearly impossible to pick a favorite. Even as we headed off to lunch afterward, we couldn’t stop talking about the experience. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I initially met Yinka my account manager at their H/O and I was impressed by their set up. However, I visited their retail store in Knightsbridge and was completely blown away. Seeing the rare bottles and the eye popping price tags really helped me to understand the potential of this asset. It was a real treat having a personal tasting and I felt really looked after by all the staff in the store. I am very happy with my decision to diversify into whisky.

I have been a client of Samuel Richards at Hackstons since Feb 2024 . He has been full of great advice and support for me during this time. He has kept me informed with new opportunities and keeps in touch regularly, giving me the feeling I am well looked after. Hackstons recently took a group of clients on a most enjoyable day to a new warehouse facility. We got to see our own casks, put the barcode labels on and even sign them . We got a tour of the site which was most impressive, with the staff all being very welcoming and knowledgeable. This was followed by a delicious lunch in the Balmoral hotel in Edinburgh city centre . Finally we were treated to a wonderful whisky tasting experience , then presented with beautiful personalised gifts. The Hackstons guys were great throughout the day and it was organised to perfection. I can’t thank them enough 🥰

I’ve always had a great relationship with Hackstons from the very beginning - I’ve now bought my 3rd cask for my kids.

After much research, I have been happy to invest a sizeable percentage of my portfolio whilst working with Sean C at Hackstons over the past 18 months. I have premium casks with Hackstons help and I look forward to a prosperous relationship. I recommend working with this company as they help you invest into the best Scotch whisky company's, rather than cheap hopeful casks like some brokerages. Buy cheap and buy twice as they say. I do not want to be in that position wishing I had invested more into something better. This is why I chose to work with Hackstons.

I must firstly say that my point of contact, Mr Sean Coelho was very helpful. After speaking with a few companies, I felt most trusting in Hackstons and this is credit to Sean and our meeting in the flagship store they have in Knightsbridge. I feel like I am in safe hands investing with Hackstons. I can see a exit with them whereas others just say they will help you sell your cask with no real evidence of how they will do this other than selling it to their other investors.

I made sure to do thorough due diligence on the company before investing. I was invited to the office and met some of the team as well as Sam - I can say I am very impressed by Hackstons.

5 stars is a understatement. I cannot recommend Sean and Hackstons enough. Sean was very attentive and listened to me and what my current goals are at this stage of my life. I couldn’t be happier with the Hackstons approach and I look forward to building on my portfolio in the whisky market with them. Thanks again!

Since my purchases 2 and 3 years ago I have been informed of my client account managers being replaced, each one calling me to introduce themselves to me and giving me a brief update on how the market is fluctuating

Easy to discuss options with Ric, great to have alternative investments. It took some time to get everything organised and he remained patient and mindful of reasons for the time delay. Very helpful throughout.

Hackstons recently opened their own whisky shop. If you are around I recommend visiting Hackstons Knightsbridge in William St, London. Beside great whisky obviously, also a remarkable shop design.

A step I never thought I would take but thankfully Sam R made it absolutely easy to understand and explained everything in easy to understand format. He's been great throughout and would definitely recommend Hackstons, the flagship of the store made my day when I visited.
