hairpin.com is a furniture components brand for people who want to design and make better furniture. We make furniture legs, table tops, furniture kits, shelving, hooks, handles and hardware for homes, workshops and commercial spaces. The range is built around simple, useful decisions: the right height, the right finish, the right fixing, the right combination of parts. Some customers arrive with a full build plan. Others are choosing the pieces for their first dining table, desk, bench or set of shelves. Hairpin legs are still at the centre of what we do, but the range now goes much further. You’ll find steel table legs, wooden legs, solid table tops, furniture kits, shelf brackets, wall hooks, cabinet hardware and finishing details. The products are designed to work together, so it is easier to choose parts that fit the room, the material and the job. We focus on honest materials, clear product information and practical support from people who know the range properly. From replacing tired furniture legs to building a dining table or fitting a set of shelves, hairpin.com helps you make furniture that feels considered, solid and yours.

Ordered wall mounted desk support and…
Ordered wall mounted desk support and desk top, along with two door handles. Everything arrived ridiculously quickly. Super happy with all of it. Great quality, great price. I even emailed a query about what size plugs they would recommend (this was on a Saturday night), and received a response almost straight away, with the details I requested and some advice about fixing the brackets! Absolutely brilliant service. Great company.

Easy to deal with company
Easy to deal with company. Set of legs were good quality. In the spirit of constructive criticism, one of the pre drilled screw holes in the base is very tight to the bars of the legs making it slightly difficult to tighten the srew.
Would I buy again? Yes

So pleased with our rectangular table legs. We had to do a return on the first one to get the sizing right, but definitely worth it!
Good quality construction and fixings (way better than the legs we previously had.)
Hairpin were very helpful and patient.

Understandably not The Trapezium Leg Company
Edit: THLC has since got in touch with me and offered a full refund. Whilst my experience was far from perfect, I appreciated that they agreed that it wasn't up to scratch.
Original review (2*):
I ordered a pair of black trapezium legs for a desk I was making for myself. Delivery was quick and they arrived quickly which was nice. Upon opening the package, I was disappointed to see that both legs had a 4-8mm warp on the metal where the outermost screws should go. I got in touch with THLC via their Whatsapp and waited several hours with my message on read.
Their eventual contradictory response suggested that the legs "might have taken a little knock in transit" and the "steel is very strong" but I should be able to straighten it by inverting the leg and "using my foot". Despite my 100kg+ weight, it didn't budge at all.
I got back in touch and they sent a replacement, and organized a courier to collect the original damaged order - this was good at least.
Just opened the replacement order and whilst it is straight this time, I was disappointed to see lots of small chips to the paintwork around the top edge. At this point I can't be bothered to deal with them any more, but the experience left me with a sour taste.

Who knew?
Great products. Didn't know they existed until a Google search turned them. I wanted to turn a spare table top into a table, and literally about 24 hours after my first Google search, I had a table! The legs I bought are strong and clearly of good quality, and at a great price. There's nothing here that's not to like.
