hairpin.com is a furniture components brand for people who want to design and make better furniture. We make furniture legs, table tops, furniture kits, shelving, hooks, handles and hardware for homes, workshops and commercial spaces. The range is built around simple, useful decisions: the right height, the right finish, the right fixing, the right combination of parts. Some customers arrive with a full build plan. Others are choosing the pieces for their first dining table, desk, bench or set of shelves. Hairpin legs are still at the centre of what we do, but the range now goes much further. You’ll find steel table legs, wooden legs, solid table tops, furniture kits, shelf brackets, wall hooks, cabinet hardware and finishing details. The products are designed to work together, so it is easier to choose parts that fit the room, the material and the job. We focus on honest materials, clear product information and practical support from people who know the range properly. From replacing tired furniture legs to building a dining table or fitting a set of shelves, hairpin.com helps you make furniture that feels considered, solid and yours.

Antwoord van The Hairpin Leg Co.
Hi Kelly,
As we discussed via email, you did not actually buy this item from us.
Yes it is possible that moisture can remain on the steel prior to coating and this can cause rusting of the legs over the course of a few weeks to a few months, at most. In the rare instances this does happen, we would replace the items without any issues for our customers.
Your purchase was made almost 5 years ago now and the photos you sent us did show signs of chips and scratches to the paint which would allow moisture to get to the steel and would not be classed as a manufacturing defect.
We suggest that you contact the company who you purchased the legs/furniture from and see if they are able to offer you any kind of resolution.
As mentioned, we are happy to give you a 50% discount code to order some new leg with us, but we cannot replace a set of 5 year old legs for free, that were not purchased from us in the first place.

--> Zusammen also 4/5 :)

Hi Stefan,
I am really sorry about this. I have checked our emails and see we have emailed you back several times across both of your email addresses.
Are you not receiving any of these? We do not have any issue reported with email generally and are not seeing any bounces back from your emails.
We would like to resolve this.
You can also contact us via phone, facebook or instagram if this is possible for you?
Beautifully made and high quality
Beautifully made and high quality. I love my new desk!
There was a shipping issue, entirely not their fault, and they went above and beyond to make it right. They are clearly passionate about what they make and it shows.
