I have had experience of estate agents before both as a tenant and landlord. As a tenant with Halls, I have found the service excellent. Amy has dealt with all of my queries really quickly. Documents have been sent in a timely manner with attention to detail. I have been treated with kindness, respect and understanding. This is the start of my tenancy with Halls but I have certainly been impressed so far.

Fantastic service from the Telford branch - Matt explained the whole process from start to finish and helped us get the best price for our house possible. Stephanie then took over once we had accepted the offer and kept it contact should we need anything further up until the point we completed on our new house. It was our first time selling a house and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!

We have been dealing with Hall Estate Agents Telford for the sale of two properties. Matt, Charli and Angela. Have been phenomenal. From the initial booking of the evaluation, to their marketing expertise. All the way through to bookings and viewings. They have been amazing!

Sales progression have been great. Pushing the sales along when we thought it had stalled!

And Shrewsbury Halls have also been accommodating with the potential purchase.

We recently purchased our new home through Halls GB and couldn't be happier with the service. We worked predominantly with Steph, who was incredibly supportive and kept us updated every step of the way. A huge thank you to Steph and the whole team at Halls for making our move so seamless!

After being with another estate agent for 7 months and 2 viewings, we moved to Halls. Had viewings straight away and the house was sold in a couple of weeks. The team are really helpful and were with us until the end. I would highly recommend Halls if you are looking for a great estate agent.

I wasn’t originally going to leave a review, but since I’ve been asked, I feel it’s only fair to give an honest account of my experience.

Communication throughout the process was minimal. I made it very clear that, due to working away, I was relying on you to ensure the vendor had cleared all rubbish from the property before completion. I was reassured that this had been taken care of.

However, after purchasing the property and attending in person that weekend, I was extremely disappointed. While I was informed that all keys had been left in the kitchen, I discovered the door had been left unlocked. This is a serious oversight, as anyone could have accessed the property and all its keys.

Inside, the condition of the property was not as expected. Ceiling lights were left hanging down, and most importantly, the garden was still full of rubbish that had not been cleared. This has now left me with additional, unexpected costs.

When I contacted you to raise these concerns, I was advised by the person handling my case to pursue the matter through small claims. As a first-time buyer, this experience has been far from the rewarding milestone it should have been, and instead has been frustrating and disappointing.

The issues remain unresolved, and the mess is still there for me to deal with.

On that basis, I feel a 2-star rating is justified.

Do not expect prompt replies [especially from the 'trainee'] Many mails sent without reply...including an application [which contained my personal details including passport and drivers licence] with no confirmation of receipt..which in itself gives great concern on data retention and safety. [especially in these day's of data mining]
I advise anything said must be followed by written confirmation..

We had a myriad of planning issues over multiples sights, Lyndsey resolved them all. Great communication and excellent knowledge of planning.

Halls provided tremendous support throughout what was a very complex sale. The process involved multiple moving parts across their commercial, residential sales, and planning teams, and they handled it all seamlessly. Communication was clear, professional, and proactive at every stage, which made a challenging transaction feel far more manageable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Halls for anyone dealing with a complicated or multi-disciplinary property sale.

From the moment we met Simon and Jamie we were impressed by Halls professional, but friendly approach. This approach was also demonstrated by all the staff we had contact with including Holly, Beth, Denise and, latterly, Lilly. Viewings were arranged promptly and we were given sufficient information in each case. There were no last minute cancellations and no-shows. Feedback was sought and passed on to us promptly. Once we had found a buyer, the post-sale process kicked in with Lilly and proved invaluable when faced with various challenges along the way. We would not hesitate to recommend Halls.

What made the experience great was that Halls provide a customer-centred service. We felt listened to. The service provided completely met our needs. The staff work as a team.

Halls were our second sales agent after our local branch failed to perform, and were recommended by a friend. The whole experience was great from the initial market appraisal where the valuer totally understood our situation and guided us through how to achieve what we wanted. The team in the branch arranging viewings were on the ball and a massive thank you to Colleen Harrison and Stephanie Eiken who were instrumental in ensuring the sale and our subsequent purchase went through. Colleen definitely went above and beyond and demonstrated the skills that are necessary in an estate agent. We couldn't have been happier with them during what is ultimately an extremely stressful process. We have already recommended them to friends.

Halls made our purchase so easy. They went beyond the 'job description' and really put themselves out to complete as soon as possible. They would respond to calls and emails almost immediately and when you're buying, speed is of the essence and very much appreciated. They would negotiate between us and the seller for a smooth transaction! We would highly recommend using Halls for property purchasing.
(We have not sold a property yet).

From the start, when Allen and Sean came to value the house, then liaising with Nia and all the friendly, competent, and helpful staff in the office, my selling experience with Halls has been made easy and stressfree. I have received regular updates and Nia has dealt with my change in circumstances efficiently and with understanding. Thank you all!

Customer service and response rate is good. Use of professional photography was also good. Our sales progress was managed by Lily who was fantastic.
My inability to give 5 stars is down to cost. I just can't understand why agents commission is the highest cost. More than solicitors and surveyors.

Incompetent, untrained and ill managed

Avoid this firm at all
Costs. Our complaint is now with the ombudsman.

Mistakes and errors from start to finish- in the end decided to change estate agents

The staff at Halls were very helpful.
We received emails confirming viewing and if there was any problems they sorted it out straight away.
The staff were polite and no task was to small to deal with.
