Harry was so easy to contact and talk too about our requirements for a mattress that making the decision on which one to choose was made simple and straightforward. The product (silk and cashmere)is absolutely amazing both in quality and comfort. We have been so pleased with our new mattress and are delighted to recommend Harry and his team.

I ordered the Hybrid Pro Gel, and from the moment I visited the website, I was impressed by how easy it was to find the right bed base for my individual needs. What really sets this company apart, however, is the personal care and attention provided by Harry himself. He genuinely takes the time to look after you as a customer, making the entire experience feel personal and reassuring.

The quality and comfort of the Hybrid Pro Gel are genuinely first class, and I don’t think anyone would be disappointed with this bed. It offers excellent quality and great value for money. Harry and his team have been very informative, supportive and efficient in our mattress order experience. Unfortunately due to a health issue we have returned the mattress as thought it wasn’t helping enough but now we are back on our old mattress, we realise how much the hybrid pro was helping!
The communication, advice and process has been seamless and we would highly recommend and like to return as a customer in the future. We’ve already thought when our children’s mattresses need replacing, we will contact Harry.

We were blown away by the service at Harry Benmore. Excellent mattress and customer service from start to finish. We weren’t sure about buying a mattress online, but when we were on the website we could chat immediately with an actual person on WhatsApp, not a boy, and they were able to talk through our options and guide us.

We still weren’t sure so we went to the showroom, where there was a really helpful friendly guy explaining the quality of each mattress and plenty of beds to lie on and try out. You could see they used quality materials and they were really well made. Perhaps the only weakness is that they tend towards people who like medium or medium-firm beds- I didn’t see anything that might count as an extra firm. But they were all really comfortable mattresses and the traditionally made ones tended to be a little firmer. The Alpaca mattress was amazing - felt like you were floating on a cloud. They also had mattresses on ottoman beds so we could see that even the thickest one rose up easily with it.

We ultimately got one of the hybrid ones which was instantly comfortable and luxurious. Even the delivery was smooth and without incident - came at the right time, great communication, put it in without hassle. Do note that you have to pay extra for them to carry it to the bed rather than drop it inside your door.

All in all, the best mattress company we could ask for. Really impressed by the values of the family run business and the quality of the mattresses. Heartily recommend.

What a wonderful company with exceptional customer service. I contacted them to enquire about a mattress having seen a heavily reduced item in John Lewis. Harry gave me honest feedback suggesting that it was a really good deal, even though this would be costing him a sale. A terrific, honest helpful business owner, and I would recommend him and his service to anyone. It is so rare for someone to be so helpful and honest. Well done Harry.

I'm not going to say I had the best sleep of my life or that it was like sleeping on a cloud because that's just sound bites. The real truth is what people need to hear.
I was sleeping on a memory foam Tempur mattress that cost more money than most people make in a month. It was my ex husbands choice and I hated it. I felt like a pea on a drum. It was so hard I thought I would wake up with a tag on my toe, it was like a morticians slab. I have Hyper mobility so my joints are very loose and can pop in and out of joint. One Morning, back in December 2025, I woke up with excruciating pain in my shoulder. 6 months later it was still there. It turns out my shoulder was dislocated, for 6 months. It had happened over night while I slept on that hard bed. Slowly over the course of 7 hours my shoulder had slipped out of joint. Now 8 months later I am still in pain and unable to sleep properly. So I bought my new mattress. I am having to sleep on one side all night, I can't sleep on my back, so I am concerned my other shoulder will dislocate. I needed this new mattress for my safety as much as comfort. The mattress is comfortable and I sleep as well as I can with a damaged shoulder, and yes I do sleep better than I did on the old mattress. I feel more supported and cradled than before. The feeling of sinking into it instead of laying on top of it makes all the difference. And I can sit up. Sounds silly but on the memory foam I had trouble getting out of bed because I couldn't sit up without using my arms to push me up and with a damaged shoulder it was painful, I had to grab my leg under my knee, with my uninjured arm and kind of rock using the weight of my leg to get me into a sitting position before I could get out of bed. But I can actually get up out of bed without struggling. I'm not sure what the mechanism behind the change is but I like it.
The craftsmanship on the mattress is beautiful. It's soft and feels smooth and cosy to the touch. It was delivered very quickly and the staff were on call to answer my questions. The whole team were very helpful right down to the delivery. Being disabled I was unable to put the old mattress in the bag they sent me so the 2 men who took it away for me were more than happy to do it for me. So All in all it's been a great experience and I didn't even leave my home to lay on some bed in a show room feeling like an idiot on display. Thank you Harry and your team.

Fantastic mattress and exemplary customer service...would highly recommend

Customer service is exemplary; communication, support, advice. This is backed up by an excellent product. I have been sleeping so well since receiving the mattress (silk and cashmere) and feel rested and comfortable on waking. So far, so very good! Will use Harry Benmore again when I need a mattress again!

The keyword that grabbed my attention over so many other competitors was 'made the old fashioned way'. Things just aren't made the way they used to be anymore so I figured, this is a sincere promise that I like the sound of. Contact with Harry and his team was swift, easy and effective. Good old fashioned communication and real people to liaise with, it means so much when you're entrusting so much of your money in something. The advice was a great help before selecting which mattress we needed. Then the exciting email to say my mattress was being made, quite reassuring and endearing. Delivery was a friendly experience, efficient, nothing was too much trouble. The mattress was the silk and cashmere hybrid, firm the first few nights but just as Harry reassured me, it did infact soften and I've had good nights sleep within the first week. Overall, I can't fault any part of the service. Refreshing to make a purchase that's actually true to word. Harry and his team are most definitely conducting the business in a genuine and honest way, the promise he makes is true, you can purchase with confidence. We are very happy to have one of his products and I would most definitely recommend to anyone else.

Great company , listen to what I want no pushing sale . Delivered on time earlier than expected , delivery people was helpful and polite and nothing was a problem. Quality of the mattress is be more than expected would defo recommend to other people

I have deliberately waited a month before posting this review, just to fairly test out the product. I am really impressed both with the very high quality of my new mattress and also the overall service/communication provided by this company. Using the online tool to identify the right mattress to buy was easy and it identified a firmer mattress than I would normally choose. It has proved to be a perfect choice and gone are the aches and pains I have previously experienced. The choice on natural materials/coverings has also helped tremendously to keep me cooler in bed. Yes, the extra firmness required me to buy new pillows but what a difference in my comfort. At the outset, the company indicated a timescale for its construction and delivery. They were spot on……and team delivering it were great too.

The 5’0 silk and cashmere mattress I ordered was delivered last Wednesday, so I have slept on it for 6 nights now. All I can say is… I am overwhelming impressed with the mattress, the company and the delivery. The mattress is excellent, perfect condition and does what it’s designed to do. Harry Benmore as a company have great communication and seamless service (from my experience). The delivery guys were on time, polite and friendly.
I was able to use my Bluelight card to gain a discount, which was even better.

I saw Harry’s ad on Facebook and was attracted by the idea of a traditional, handmade mattress at a competitive price. Messaged Harry on WhatsApp and got a swift response as to the right mattress for me and my partner. The only issue was customers in NI couldn’t take advantage of the sleep trial. Luckily we happened to be over in London and managed to visit the showroom where the mattress Harry recommended for us proved super comfortable. The third-party couriers handling the NI leg of delivery had not been 100% reliable. But Harry and his brother Michael pulled out all the stops to find another courier who was, and our mattress was safely delivered to Belfast less than 3 weeks from ordering it. At first our silk and cashmere medium/soft mattress seemed on the firm side. But after a few weeks of sleeping on it, it’s now softening beautifully, just as Harry said it would. So glad we chose to go with this company.

Great at every stage. My initial questions through What'sApp were answered quickly. When I bought a week later, it was a quick and easy transaction... a minor website glitch was quickly overridden by a human. The mattress turned up on time and is supremely comfortably.

Harry, my lengthy conversations with you paid off, thank you and you suggested just the right mattress...so far so good!
I can see and feel the quality, at an competitive price, with the knowledge that I could return it if not comfortable .
Small hiccup with the delivery as I think they got lost, so were in a tearing hurry, but the bed was put in the correct room. However it was a bit difficult to make them understand (must be my Norfolk accent!) and they didn't seem willing to remove the covering as they thought their hands too dirty. I have not let this detract from the score....
