Placed a few orders and realised one of the messages had the incorrect name. I called immediately to get the name amended which they confirmed they couldn’t do so asked for that particular order to be cancelled so I could do a fresh one. Was appalled when I was told this could not be cancelled. Asked what was the alternative they said they would ask their warehouse to alter the name. Either way they promised an email back confirming the status. As I’d received no reply I called again and was told they cannot amend or cancel the order. Not a good first online shopping experience at Harvey Nichols.

I find the bristol store is a discriminating and a racist store, the management team of privileged background often look down at ethnic minorities and feel that the minority is beneath them, it is demonstrated that the white privileged is far more superior and better and they look at ethnic minorities as peasants and as if they have entered the store by mistake and don’t deserve to shop from Harvey Nichols. I also find appearance pays a key role as well as skin tone in the Bristol store, they often come as a pack so if you complain, (well no point) they have each others back, very unprofessional, The finance manager Nancy got to be the worst, she is patronizing, cold, rude, far from diverse, no customer value, disrespectful, especially if you are black or of colour, she lacks customer service skills, She is an obnoxious individual and if they continue In this manner, the store will be labelled as a racially discriminative store. They have no customer value especially if you are black, although ethnic minorities are probably the biggest spenders. Very narrow minded individuals at this store, far from professional.

So wish i'd popped here before ordering from HN !
Basic service and customer service appalling ! Ordered and paid for an item to be told 2 days later (after a shipping notice) out of stock and I will receive a refund. Ordered the next day a number of items, payment taken to then only receive 2 (which are attachments for an item I never received) Full cost of all items charged ?? contacted customer services to be told I'll get a refund. How can anyone trust an order with this company when you have no idea what will be sent or billed

Used Harvey Nichols when ordering Christmas hampers for staff. There were multiple errors with the order but the real issue is the customer service. Appalling attitude and service that suggests arrogance, that basic politeness and service is not need e by them. Could also be they are just incompetent

Terrible customer service, the website doesn't work. Tried buying something for a week, it just blocks all my cards. No actual help, just emails with useless apologies.

Please be careful buying any consumable items from Harvey Nichols. As per their terms and conditions, they are able to sell food with a shelf life of just TWO WEEKS. Don't bother buying any food Christmas gifts from here, three jars of jam out of eight were dated unacceptably short. I won't be able to send them as gifts as they'll be out of date!!

The Service is abysmal in Edinburgh restaurant. Plenty of staff but nobody willing to work!!!
Restaurant had 6 tables taken with customers, so not very busy. I was shown to a table, given a menu, I waited and waited for my order to be taken when it was quite obvious I had chosen from the menu. I was on my own watching lots of staff milling around but doing very little. After 10 minutes I walked out. I will not be back!!!

I won’t be ordering from this company again . I ordered an Armani eye tint it was unopened I returned it, they sent it back to me ! Cheek ……

Not even one star! Worst customer service ever! Or actually I think there isn't any as they don't want to help. Impossible to return, impossible to solve a problem. Don't order! It's a scam!!!!

Terrible company- their customer service is rude and unhelpful. I bought an expensive swimsuit and it fell apart, they won’t refund or replace despite many emails to them. I certainly will not be buying from HN ever again

I recently had watch batteries replaced at the Luxury Watch Repairs, Manchester Harvey Nichols. A great experience! Oliver was friendly, efficient & professional. 3 watch batteries replaced within 2 hours. You couldn't ask for more. Thoroughly recommend this repair centre & Oliver's great service. Thank-you!

AVOID! A FRAUD COMPANY! DISGUSTING!!! SCAMMER!!
I placed an order for a pair of white Balenciaga Triple S mesh and leather trainers online and got a cheap pair of unheard brand trainers/work shoe’s delivered by dpd driver. After numerous emails and a phone call, they told me they would investigate and asked me to send more pics of the box! Before I could send the pics, they told me they did their investigation and they indeed sent the right pair of shoes and I would not be able to return, exchange or get refund! I SHOULD GO TO MY LOCAL POLICE FOR HELP! This is just disgusting! They really dont care! They make money off customers! I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM EVER AGAIN! HORRIBLE FIRST EXPERIENCE!!! ACOID AT ALL COST!!! I JUST LOST £420 thats how they attract customers, put expensive high end items on almost upto 50% SALE and deliver wrong items and deny it!!

Bought a pair of Vivienne Westwood earrings for a Christmas present for my daughter. After a couple of months they had gone a horrible dark colour with a brassy colour coming through. I went back and the assistant said that’s wear and tear , after telling her how disgusted I was she took a photo of them and said she’d get back to me ,I now realise I was just palmed off as she never did and now it’s too late for return .

Wont be buying Vivienne Westwood jewellery again ( over priced rubbish that will only looks good brand new in the box and you’ll only get a few wears from it before it discolours )

I returned my order using the Royal Mail returns label on the 19th April, despite the tracking stating the item has been delivered to the warehouse, Harvey Nichols are suggesting this has not been received and have been ‘investigating’ with Royal Mail for the past 3 days. Meanwhile I have to wait patiently for my refund! Very poor service - I will stick to shopping at Net a Porter or Matches in future.

I was so disappointed when visiting this store, it was empty, horrible atmosphere, the staff are rude, they look bored! People wonder why everyone shops on line, this store is the reason why!

My trip in store on Bank Holiday Monday was something to write about as I received exceptional customer service from the Fenty Beauty ladies; Bianca and Janina.

As I arrived I was greeted almost immediately and then all 3 ladies continued to engage with me the whole time, discussing the products and the availability. One individual even when to seek out stock for. I felt very well looked after and these days customer service can feel very rare so thank you ladies for restoring my faith.

I found out one Harvey Nichols ambassador was a manager, they say great leadership is seen and it was.

Having visited the Knightsbridge store yesterday with my friend, we both had a La Prairie facial by Jay which was amazing. He was professional and very gentle and we both loved it. So relaxing we wished it could go on more than the 45 minutes. He explained all the different products afterwards and none of it was rushed. Very pleasant experience so thanks Jay....from Mia and Barbara x

Knightsbridge store.....I attended the Laura Mercier Counter on 12 March 2023. I was served by Serap. She provided excellent customer service and support with helping me find the right products. Incredibly attentive, friendly and had a good awareness of the the product range. Serap was also able to give a demonstration on how the products work.

Will definitely return to the store.

I will not be shopping at this store again.
I purchased an expensive skincare and had to pay delivery charge.
I would have gone to another reputable company unfortunately they were having website issue.
