Poor staff lack of interest lack of customer service and poor communication in my option very ignorant and no idea how to acknowledge a customer for a flag shop store it’s the worst store I’ve ever been in to try and spend money on a new iMac unmanned stands no staff and initial communication of “yeh you know what you want “ very unprofessional and list my custom and recommendations now

I ordered the Dyson Supersonic Straight + Wavy Hair Dryer as a special 21st birthday gift for my daughter. Unfortunately, the hair dryer arrived with the curly hair attachments instead of the straight and wavy attachments that were clearly included with the product I purchased.

I contacted customer service before my daughter’s birthday, explaining the situation and asking if they could simply send the correct attachments at no extra cost. The hair dryer itself was exactly what she wanted, and I didn’t want to take away her birthday present.

The only solution offered was to return the entire item for a replacement, even after I explained that the gift had already been given. This is inconvenient, unnecessary, and very disappointing considering the mistake was theirs.

A premium product should come with premium customer service. Sadly, my experience was the opposite.

Terrible experience purchasing two TVs. Was called to say they were out of stock, so offered an alternative. Why would you advertise and sell an item online if it is out of stock? Clearly their systems are not up to date. The they shipped the replacements immediately despite our request for a scheduled delivery at a later date. Now just hoping they turn up intact after being kicked around a warehouse for two weeks!

I ordered a sofa in May and was told it would be 6 to 8 weeks to be delivered, so looking at the end of July. They charge £99 to remove your old sofa, the council will take it for £35. There is a few weeks wait for the council to collect, so I booked it mid August. Obviously the sofa was not ready at the end of July, I was told two weeks and it will come on a Saturday. My old sofa gets removed and on that same day I call to check the new one will still come in 3 days. They say no, it'll now be the Wednesday. I inform them I have already had our old sofa removed, but we could manage. I call them on Monday to check, they say it is still on track to be delivered Wednesday, great. On Tuesday they have just called to say they have no idea how long it will be until it gets delivered. They have offered some compensation, but you seriously have to question if you want to go through this situation with a family of 5 and no sofa for however long they take.

Ordered a steam generator iron on a 2 days delivery. The night before it was meant to be delivered, I received an email at 9 pm telling me that the item was out of stock and that they would refund in 3-5 days- no alternatives - Awful experience given it is an expensive steam generator, and now I will need to wait to be paid back before I can order elsewhere! it should not take that long to return the money, nor for them to realise that their stock is out !!! Very disappointing! Do not use them

Sarah was really helpful and friendly. She went above and beyond and wasn't pushy at all.

I recently visited the store and was approached by Bradley in the TV department. Very friendly and not pushy he really wanted to help out with giving us all the information we needed for our new TV when our house is built. As customer service goes he is a really a great asset to the team and such a genuine sales man.

Harvey Norman were prepared to price match against competitor online. Staff member Prescious was friendly, well mannered and worked hard to put together the package that we were happy with. We were happy with our experience.

Mariah and Gab were both incredibly helpful - I was purchasing the nothing phone recently. I spent a lot of time in store with the transfer which took a lot longer than expected but they were both very approachable and had a lot of knowledge. I felt reassured and welcomed. Thank you again both

My experience was very good. Matthew, who assisted me in the IT department, took his time to understand what I wanted and to assist me in making the correct choices. Good, old fashioned, customer service.

Ordered a £500 wine cooler from HN on 21st July, went over a week without any delivery information. Eventually called to find out where my order was to be told that it was actually out of stock and it had to be ordered directly from Hisense. Was told I would be called back last week, and received no follow up on the status. Called them today to be told the there was no update and that they had only emailed Hisense for an update and made no attempt to chase. Staff were rude and arrogant.

Avoid Harvey Norman if you value good customer service. My disabled grandad ordered a fridge freezer on 11 July after being promised delivery in 7–10 days. Nearly three weeks later, we had received no delivery, no updates and not even a courtesy phone call.
When I contacted the store, I was promised a callback that never came. I then visited the store in person, where I was initially told the fridge freezer had arrived. Moments later, another member of staff informed me it would actually be another three weeks before delivery – with no apology or explanation.
My grandad has recently suffered a heart attack and undergone lung surgery, yet has been left without a fridge freezer and treated with complete disregard. We also paid £50 for delivery, despite there being no sign of a timely delivery service.
This has been an incredibly stressful and disappointing experience.

I found it difficult to locate the exact item I wanted - Bradley located the item and researched its specifications to ensure it was exactly what was required. He then quickly located a second item. A very professional, helpful personal service - nothing was too much trouble. Well done!

The lady was so helpful i explained what I wanted for my daughter who has adhd and anxiety we had the extra warranty for her aswell such a friendly lady we had a brilliant service thank you
