Ordered almost 4 weeks ago. Package says cleared and waiting departure. But it never seems to depart... no idea when I will get this order. Why it ships from Sweden for Hat Store Australia I have no idea... ordered as I assumed it was an Australian store and I would have my order quicker. I’ve even received ordered from the UK within two weeks 😔

This is an updated review, you can read me first review underneath this one.
After reaching out to hatstore to explain that I had still not received my hat after 7 weeks they informed me that they think the hat was probably lost. So they have given me a full refund which I am grateful for. I guess the customer service did come through when I needed it the most, coming up with a resolution. So I have changed the 1 star to 2 stars ( I would choose 2.5 if it were possible) based on the customers service not the experience. Its unfortunate I didn't get to try there product as I was really looking forward to receiving to it. After this experience I am doubtful I would buy from them again. If they were shipping from Australia I would.
First review-
Unfortunately I am yet to receive my order which was placed on the 17th December 2020. I understand it is coming from overseas but this is too long for any item to be sent around the world a couple of times. When I emailed them, I was happy and grateful they replied, but I was told it was being held in customs in Australia and its been there since the 7th January.
Its hard to believe they would hold a hat in customs for this long. There are no taxes or duties which would be charged to it so there is no reason they would hold it. If this is the case maybe Hatstore need to provide better information for customs so the clearing process can be more prompt or use a better shipping service . I don't like giving 1 stars for reviews but I have no choice.

Hatstoreaustralia have gone above and beyond to ensure that the product that I received was exactly what I want. Their communication is second to none and their pricing is extremely fair. I am now a lifetime customer and won’t be buying my hats anywhere else. I highly recommend their custom design and build hat service. The only limits is YOUR imagination!!

i purchased x2 hats from the hat store australia the hats came quick evendue to covid they wgere a great price and the quality is the best i have ever seen and i wear hats daily i recomend thisstore to anyone and everyone as there where no dramas the hats came delivered inperfect condition and i wil only use this company from now on I highly recomend you do the same

EarIy December, I placed an order to be delivered to Australia. My expectation was the delivery before Christmas. Unfortunately, didn't happen due to pandemic restrictions. Due to this delay I contacted you support department. From the day one, December 29, 2020 up to today, your collaborator Erlind was outstand by providing a great support. He has great communication skills and inspires others. I was really upset and near to cancel the order. However he managed to be on the top of the situation by tracking the order and provid status in a daily basis. The order has been delivered, now. Thank you Erlind for your Great Support. Stay away all Aussies.
They will make several silly excuses eg COVID, but it's all rubbish.

I mistyped my email by accident, oh no now I couldn’t track my delivery or receive a receipt,,, nope all good..emailed the support email, easy fix! Fixed within a couple of hours! Super prompt response! Fabulous service!

Absolutely fraudulent marketing. They take money as if they are in Auatralia but get everything from probably china.
I paid 150 dollars for 3 capa and its 4 weels now and the cap is still in the originating country.

If you are in Australia DO NOT order from this site. Inspite of their name they are NOT in Australia. They are in EUROPE. This information is not on their store front - it is buried in their 'about us' and I only found out when I got my order confirmation that told me that the order was being shipped from Sweden! Imagine creating a website, hatstoresweden.com and shipping from Australia how many Swedish people will be infuriated!? Even if its in the T & Cs there is an underhanded way they have gone about it and have deliberately avoided attracting attention to the true location of their operations until its too late for the Aussie consumer.
Checked with Auspost and they cite 9-20 days delivery time from major Europe. Waiting for 6 weeks for delivery is utter rubbish.

Disgusting experience. The website states all hats in stock and ready for delivery. Except that stock is in Europe! 6 weeks after the order and the hat ordered for my son hasn’t even left Europe. And I’m sure they will blame it on COVID! Other then the fact air freight capacity has doubled!

I ordered my anniversary present for my husband with about 2 week’s lead time, thinking this was an Australian company, (hatstoreaustralia) only to receive an email from Denmark advising that my order had been shipped 4 days later. Delivery is supposed to be guaranteed 6-10 days?
This company is misleading consumers and I’m furious that on the eve of my wedding anniversary, I have nothing to give to my husband.. BUYER BEWARE!!! nothing is transparent about their online prescence and one has to sift through the fine details to appreciate the crooks that we’re dealing with.
