I ordered a pack of 10o papers and received a pack of 10, telephoned , was told the pack of 100 would be sent, telephoned a week later and was told to send photos. I sent photos to prove what I had received on 18th December 2024 which they confirmed they had received a passed on to liaison on this date. Have since emailed and been told I have to wait until the end of this week, the 10th January 2025 and if I'd not heard anything they will, in their words, 'chase this for you' but I have to let them know that I've not heard anything before this happens. While all this is going on I ordered something else, Yodel had the tracking number on 28th December 2024 and it stated that the package was still with the sender, it's now 7th January 2025 and it's still with the sender. All in all very poor service.

Ordered a Siser Juliet machine. Was an exceptional price and also offered in instalments which was only slightly more expensive than a Silhouette machine that I’d have otherwise got. I was hesitant of HobbyMaker initially based on reviews here, but after seeing two of their tv sessions featuring a representative from Siser itself demoing the Juliet and Romeo machines I decided to go ahead. Confirmation of order was slightly delayed but once that was actioned it was delivered quickly, over all within 5 working days of the order placement.
My main criticism would be the complete lack of delivery updates from the delivery company that HobbyMaker uses (Whistl / Yodal) because it stated delivery by the following Monday, but was delivered the following day on Thursday instead, and had I not manually checked on Thursday morning I’d have likely missed the delivery. This was despite installing Yodal’s app and opting in for notifications the night before.
All in all, I would order again from HobbyMaker. The Siser Juliet is a thing of beauty. Compared to Cricut it’s fast, quiet, very accurate registration marks thanks to a built-in camera, works similar to higher end pro machines (origin is lower left, more hands on), solid build, wifi, touch screen, proper offline software. It even has a solid metal on/off button. The one negative I’ve found so far is the cost of replacement blades (and also the lack of third party compatible blades compared to Cricut) but that’s about it.
HobbyMaker’s TV channel has also been a source of inspiration for projects. It’s my first order but seems like a solid company.

No tracking for customers parcels. Mixed orders either indefinitely delayed or just blatantly cancelled with no email communication. Waiting for a partial order over 3 weeks now. Just very poor customer exoerience. Feel for the small businesses. Will not use them anymore.

Hobby maker took my call when I queried delivery. So posting here too...
I wish I had checked this site before ordering with sewing street.
I have ordered previously and thought the delivery was slow but gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again.
Ordered placed on the 1st, it's the 13th and still no sign of the delivery. 4-6days they state.
Be mindful when purchasing that you need to give plenty of time if ordering for a special occasion. I will be refusing my delivery as it was a birthday gift and now replaced so sewing street goods no longer suitable.
Also, they use Whistl who then give to Royal Mail to deliver so lots of changing of hands.
I asked call handler to chase the delivery, I was told they don't do this and to wait 15days, which takes us into the Christmas period. Convenient?!?

Not ordered off this channel, read reviews ,how long it takes to receive orders.
As a c&c watchers for over 10 years,iv given hobbymaker a try over last 12 months ,sorry but it not a patch on c&c.
Find the channel repetitive and boring ,every day, the same 3 or 4 sellers on all day .there's people come over from c&c ,but even they don't seem the same. Sadly iv seen some of the peopke from hochand are coming across .I feel sad as crafter, I wont have a craft channel to watch for inspiration, and interesting craft demonstrations .SO sad for alot of crafters.

Takes forever for stuff to arrive, when it does I have no complaints, except one. There’s never a dispatch email to say if or when an order has been sent so you never know when it will arrive.
However, when I ask customer service where is my order or why it’s taking so long, they say they need to talk to ‘the account holder’. The account holder is my mum and she’s not very tech savvy. I didn’t realise just asking the status of an order, using the email address the account is registered to and the order number, was asking for access to Fort Knox! Never had that issue checking an order status before in my life.

What can I say after reading 4 pages of reviews complaining about Hobby makers attitude towards their customers , almost all were the same problems I have been experiencing the last month or so trying to find out we’re my 2 separate orders are.
1 orendered on 19/10/24 the 2 on the 24/10/24 over £100 in value in all called c/s 3 times so absolutely nothing has been recorded from my conversations and this last call today has blamed crafters companion for taking their time to send a response as to were my order is so I’m still none the wiser, I wish I’d known how many customers were upset with this company by such bad reviews and almost all of us complaining about our missing orders I most certainly will ring first thing in the morning and tell them I am going to stop a 2 nd payment which is due in a few days time very bad customer service ( these craft companies need to remember no customer no business) I Will buy straight from the smaller businesses in future what a disappointment hobbymaker has turned out to be Cazza

Long standing customer. To date love the products and presenters like Nigel & Rosie. Going forward my main concern is that ex C&C suppliers will overtake & be given priority over the loyal but smaller HM suppliers - already getting fed up with how frequent some ex C&C suppliers are on air!

I love watching Hobbymaker the presenters make the guests feel so comfortable I really enjoy watching Dave, Hayley and Nigel and miss Zena so much. I haven’t been crafting for very long and being a pensioner I am on a budget but just watching the shows are so informative and I love it, especially Carla Bagshaw and Craig Laird. Thank you Hobbymaker for all you bring.

Hobbymaker is great and being able to add to your order through the day for one p&p is brilliant. I too am concerned that with c&c going we will lose the little people like ‘add some sparkle’. Probably not directly Hobbymakers fault but I have recently had orders where I received the wrong item/s or a invoice to say a particular item is out of stock, frustrating as I probably placed the order with someone in mind to make it for or with limited funds could have ordered my other choice but it’s not available now. Saying that they are very good at refunding the cost including the postage to send it back.
So carry on the good work everyone!!!

Watched and ordered from HobbyMaker since the beginning and have had no problems with ordering or deliveries which are normally within a few days.
Obviously when small businesses are having to pack and send orders there might be a slight backlog, but personally I am happy to support them. Sadly you can’t please all people all of the time.

I used to watch C+C, but earlier in the year when Hobbymaker came to Virgin Media, I started watching this channel instead. I found it to be more customer focused, friendly with great offers and demonstrations. I am however, concerned that they seem to be rushing to take on Companies that used to be on C+C. I hope they carefully consider that the format they had been using worked, the rapport they have with the companies they have used and their customers and that they do not want to become a C+C look-a-like.

I have watched HobbyMaker since it started with crafting programmes I love it. I have ordered items and they always arrive quite quickly no problems at all. Like another reviewer, I hope they don`t spoil it with too many company`s starting now C&C has finished

Easy to order by phone and on line but due to the popularity occasionally miss an item while waiting. The delivery periods are getting a lot longer than originally when the chanel started

I have been watching this channel from day one & have loved the format. I found ordering very easy, the one p&p a day is fantastic & I can add to my order through out the day with no problem. The customer call centre are all very helpful when changing your orders & if the random item has been misplaced along the way they are always able to help given the time. The presenters are always happy & cheerful, yes there may be one that isn’t your cup of tea but you can’t please everyone, even I have that problem. It is a breath of fresh air to have an alternative craft channel to watch & it is amazing to see the support for all craft suppliers on this channel new & old. The prices are good & even better when they drop, the competitions are a nice touch & great when you win. Thank you for bringing a little joy to the world every day
