We are staying in a Holidu property. Upon arriving the kitchen and toilet were dirty. The towels and bedding has brown and yellow stains. The representative was unhelpful and didn't resolve any of our issues. Also there is a strong smell
of cigarettes in the property. It is not a place that anyone could stay and we have been left here to deal with it ourselves. The person here spoke no English and basically said if you don't like it you can leave. Very rude, unhelpful and will NEVER recommend this company.
We dealt with Lucia at the Villa Daphne in Vescina Italy and we paid over £1000 per night to sleep
in a disgusting house.

Good guests, reliable payments

Hi have repeatedly requested that Holidu do NOT contact my guests about their online registration.
In spite of them assuring me that they have elevated this concern to a priority, nothing has been done to rectify this.
This has caused much confusion and irritation to my guests.

Très mauvaise expérience avec Holidu pratiquement 1 mois de perdu: 1 politique des prix mal adapté prix unique pour deux ou quatre personnes, la seul solution étant de faire 10% au client étant 2. Ne louant pas pour 1 nuit je reçoit une réservation que je refuse , L'IA Holidu me répond que c'est une anomalie, mais malgré tout je reçois un message me disant que je devrais payer une pénalité de 50€ pour annulation alors que je n'ai à aucun moment accepté cette option "1 nuitée"et qu'elle ne m'a pas été proposée. Après discussion avec mon conseiller il en convient mais malgré tous j'ai été prélevé de la pénalité et quand j'ai voulu l'appeler il ne répondait plus.Jai donc perdu plus d'un mois de location.

I had a problem with my bank at time of payment, both holidu & the host were great helping me solve the issue.

Avoid this company at all costs.

This was some of the most appalling customer service and treatment I have ever received. I booked an apartment in Greece via Booking.com and received a message from Holidu asking me for payment that I’d already made. Even when I offered evidence of my receipt and proof of payment, they dug their heels in and insisted I had to pay. Afraid of the trustworthiness of the company I requested a cancellation… and they ghosted me. I sent several messages, and heard nothing back. In the end I had to cancel the payment via my bank and have conversations with booking.com regarding the scamming agenda of Holidu. Thankfully booking.com expedited a free cancellation.

Appalling customer service and exploitative attempts to force customers to double pay. All this from a company that claims they want to make property booking easy and ethical.

Take my warning - avoid. Don’t let these people ruin your holiday.
