Was in Home focus wexford this afternoon. The person who served us was so indifferent ,had a terrible attitude and it felt as if we were an inconvenience to her. To make it worse she was the manager. Curtains were perfect.

The old lady who assisted me was not very accommodating and does not look very happy while helping me. This happened around nearly 1800 yesterday 25/06/25. Im not sure whats causing the behaviour,, i am just a loyal costumer purchasing and thats not how to treat loyal costumers.

I was in this store today and can't complement the staff enough ..so helpful and so obliging....I was buying large 2.4m poles and i couldn't fit them into my small car, so the girl ( sorry i didn't get her name ) offered to drop them to my house for me free of charge .....I don’t know where else would give this kind of service.... absolutely A+++

Went into carrickmines branch today looking for help with poles, can't recommend the staff enough, so knowledgeable and helpful, left the store with everything I needed..

Don't waste your time or money going to Home Focus at Hickeys.

I just drove out the Carrickmines branch, where I'm a frequent customer. The store is meant to close at 7pm, I arrived at 6.45pm and went straight to pick out the yarn I needed when the staff turned off the lights and I could hear them saying to each other "Try to see in the dark", referring to me as I had to take out my phone and use my torch to make my way SAFELY out of the store.

Absolutely abhorrent behaviour from the staff on duty. Fortunately, there are many online stores where I can take my future custom.

Great store, great service and staff, fantastic product range.

Went shopping for curtains for my apartment in Spain, fantastic customer service from carol in Blanchard Town she really has a eye for detail she helped me match all my wallpaper with the perfect curtains. Carol spent over a hour with me in the shop .
I managed to buy 3 exquisite pair of soft velvet curtains which I'm bringing over to Spain with me and amazing quality and value.
Thank you so much Carol for your valued opinion really appreciate it.

I need 5 pairs of the same curtains for the kitchen / living room and 3 pair for another room.

I went to the Kilkenny store, they only had 2 or 3 in stock but Ordered the others in from others stores and I returned to collect them a few weeks later.

Home I went after these 2 trips to get what I needed.

A lady came out to my house to put up the poles and curtains etc. BUT upon opening the packets several pairs were not matching in length. After the lady left I had to take several pairs BACK DOWN in Order to bring them back to Kilkenny from carlow.

I had to reorder replacement pairs which took weeks. When they did arrive in the shop the staff insisted on checking everything i returned and all the replacements which took an hour waiting with 2 young children.

I hung them up myself on getting home.
Still not totally happy with patio curtains as there a bit too long but they'll have to do.

My recommendation is to check that each curtain in the pack is of equal length, DO NOT RELY ON THE LENGTH WRITTEN ON THE PACKET.

I WILL NOT BE BUYING CURTAINS THERE AGAIN

Beware when purchasing an item here. You may be asked to pay more than displayed price when checking out. This happened to me today in Wexford. This could be a genuine misprinted product or a ploy to get customer's to pay extra. The fact that I wasn't offered the item at the displayed price speaks volumes.

A huge thanks to the staff of Home Focus Blanchardstown most especially Geraldine and Anita.They are all so professional, helpful,cordial,understanding and knowledgeable.I cannot recommend this store enough.Sincere thanks for the endless time and effort given to helping me choose suitable products at affordable prices.You all go above and beyond to please your customers.Thank you.

Great branch of Home Focus in Waterford
Went in to Waterford branch in panic 5 mins to close looking for a solution to fix a dress I needed to repair for my daughter
Despite the shop about to close a very kind experienced and helpful member of staff took the time to help me come up with a solution my problem and recommended items I should get, i didn't get the womens name but I'm very grateful for the lovely shopping experience at Home Focus in Waterford it made all the difference. Thank you.

Absolutely are horrible shop. Paid for a blind and got charged twice as they were having trouble with card machine. Only realised when i checked my online banking. When i called about it they told me to call my bank as it was an issue with them. My bank informed me the issue was home focus. Alot of hassle was caused from home focus. After 8 days the money went back to my account. Never again. Be cautious when paying there by card and check online banking

I went to Blanchardstown this morning with my daughter to look at sewing machines and crafting fabrics. Leslie and Deirdre were amazing. Both myself and my daughter were delighted with our trip. They really couldn't have been more helpful. They both went the extra mile for us. I was gobsmacked how 2 ladies we never met made our trip so successful. Leslie and Deirdre- I thank you so much

Went to the Carrickmines store and was asked to leave or put my coffee down. I felt like they were treating me like a child. Last time I went there they complained I was playing with my son and apparently that’s not allowed. In all my life I’ve never been asked to put a coffee down or stop playing with my son in ANY shop. I’ll not be going back to their shop for as long as I live.

I ordered items online from Hickey's/ Homefocus in the early afternoon. My items arrived in Dublin the following morning (shipped from Dublin).
All items received as expected.
Prompt communication via email regrading the process of my order.

I'd give zero stars if possible. Absolutely awful. Have been into the Coolock branch several times and every time customers have to wait until the staff are finished chatting to help. If you don't know the exact name of the item you're looking for, don't bother asking as you'll be ridiculed saying they don't stock anything of the sort. They do stock item but can't be bothered to help. Overpriced, jaded stock and staff. I try to buy Irish but I'd rather buy from a Chinese website than this shower of entitled amateurs. Extremely rude. Can't quite figure out how they are still in business

We selected Home Focus since they provided nice blind types which we could not find anywhere else. So, we selected the blinds and paid the deposit, it turns out more than half of the blinds we ordered were out of stock which we were not warned about at the time of order. We did not want to wait more so we selected alternatives for the out-of-stock items. When the fitting day arrived, we realized that one of the other blinds was sent incorrectly and turned out the original one was out-of-stock as well. We are now left without a blind, forced to select an alternative we do not want and disappointed since the missing items were the real reason we selected HomeFocus. Make sure they have stock before you do anything in this shop since this looks like a tactic to get you to pay and then force you to select something you do not want in the first place.
