**Very disappointing experience from Homespaces by Deepti and Guru
**Very disappointing experience – incomplete work, poor communication and unacceptable finish**
I am leaving this review based on my personal experience with Home Spaces by Deepti and Guru for the interiors of my villa in Hyderabad. Very rude company
We engaged them for the complete interior works and were required to make **the full payment upfront**. Their quotation stated a **40-day delivery timeline** for a project of this value. However, the project remained incomplete even after approximately **4.5 months**.
The biggest issue throughout the project was communication. Despite repeated calls and WhatsApp messages during reasonable working hours, there were long periods when I could not get a response or a proper update. As I live in the abroad and was managing the project remotely, this made an already difficult situation considerably more stressful.
There were also significant concerns regarding the quality and specification of some of the work.
The original quotation specified an **acrylic finish**. During the project, I was told that this had been **upgraded to lacquered glass**. However, what was ultimately provided did not, in my experience, match the lacquered glass that had been represented to me. I am now having the affected areas replaced at my own expense.
The quotation also included a **5-foot tall dining curio**. Instead, a glass wall was provided, which was not what I expected or understood the agreed design to be. She provided this solution during the project. The final result was, in my opinion, very poorly executed and left me having to deal with the consequences myself.
Despite raising these issues and giving the company an opportunity to rectify them, the project was ultimately left **incomplete and in a mess**. After approximately 4.5 months, the keys were finally handed back to me with outstanding work still unfinished.
What was particularly disappointing was the communication towards the end. When I questioned the outstanding work and quality, I was told that items had been “upgraded” and that everything had effectively been provided “for free”. I found this response very unprofessional, particularly when there was still agreed work outstanding and the project had not been completed satisfactorily.
To be clear, I was never expecting 24/7 availability. My expectation was simply reasonable communication, delivery of the agreed scope, proper workmanship, and completion within the promised timeframe.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I **would not recommend Home Spaces by Guru and Deepti** for a complete interior project. I strongly recommend anyone considering using them to have every specification, material, upgrade, completion date and handover requirement documented clearly in writing and to avoid making full payment before satisfactory completion.
