They don’t deserve any stars but I guess 1 star is the minimum.

This company has messed up my paychecks. We all have bills to pay and mistakes like these has a big impact on someone's finances especially for people who live from paycheck to paycheck.

I have been using HomeWork solutions for two years since employing a caregiver for my wife. They have always provided me with excellent support and I've never had to wait for someone to answer the phone when I call them. Their client portal works quite well and the relief factor that I've experienced, not worrying about filing the appropriate tax documents is beyond words. They are a great service to work with!

Always on-time and accurate. HWS has been great to work with! I used them for my nanny and now use them for my business payroll too.

Overpaid our employee by $1400 over the course of 1 month and refused to fix the situation. That is after multiple failures to even run payroll at all over the course of our time with them. Our nanny is frustrated and confused as to why her paychecks are wrong or not showing up at all. They market themselves as simple nanny payroll processor for households. In my opinion, they have not been simple to work with nor have meet the basic requirements to be a payroll processor as the money they have paid out to our nanny has been incorrect or hasn't shown up at all. Save yourself thousands and many hours of reconciling payroll / bank accounts and use another group.

My experience is not great with this company. I have been waiting 2weeks to receive the remaining of my earnings. Every time I call to inquire I’m told it will be in my accounts (Nothing)! Each time I call back they say the supervisor didn’t submit it! This is so freaking frustrating!!!! Excuses! I know plenty of people who would love a job!!!!! POOR Business and excuses😡 Do not send me a feedback! There’s nothing you can say. It’s been two weeks and 6 calls with the same answer.

Very poor customer experience. I used HomeWork Solutions for our Nanny payments, which the system worked fine. I even recommended them to friends. However, after we quit using the service, a default in the system set up an automatic draft for Nanny services we never used. I was not given warning this draft was happening. Up calling the company for help, I understand the default was set and this was my error. Rather then help me through this, the customer service person was terrible to work with, condescending and I highly do not recommend this organization. I cancelled my account. Customer service is key - if you can't fix something at least don't be a jerk.

I have been very pleased with the knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy of all of the Homework Solutions employees with whom I have interacted. The payroll services provided to one employee-employers, and other small employers, is invaluable. With few exceptions, HS has done virtually all the work, leaving me with the responsibility to report my employee’s time. The cost of the service has been worth every penny that I pay for it.

FIRSTLY, I have no problem when admitting when I am wrong I spoke negatively of this company with quick judgement of false information. They have actually gone above and beyond for myself as well as my employer. I’m very thankful for the prompt response and assistance and and again my deepest apologies for the rude comment.

We have used HWS for 6 years for our nanny and they have done an amazing job. I just regret not hiring them for the first two years we employed our nanny! Even through COVID and all the confusion of the new tax laws, they were there every step of the way and made payroll work effortlessly. I highly recommend them.

HWS's service is meticulous and prompt. On the rare occasion when they've made an error they've cleared up the situation quickly and fully. I trust HWS to make sure I'm doing the right thing by my employee and the IRS.

I'm so happy to have HWS to take the time and headache out of paying our nanny taxes. Once I used their tax calculator, I was able to just put away the necessary funds each week. Then, when it's quarterly filing time, I just make sure the money is available to wothdraw, I report hours and wages to HWS, and they do the rest! It's completely hands off and worry free! It was a nightmare, before, trying to figure it out, myself. Worth every penny! Also, when filing annual income taxes, they have been extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful on the phone.

I've used Homework Solutions for three years, and have found them responsive, reliable, and easy to work with. I recently had to adjust salary for our nanny, and I was able to accomplish it in about 60 seconds, and then received a prompt email follow up from a live person double-checking that everything was correct.

HomeWork Solutions takes all the hassle out of dealing with employee taxes, and for that I am grateful. However, they do make errors and are often behind in updating their software to reflect changes in tax laws, resulting in miscalculations that have to be corrected after the fact. Their prices keep going up and up as well, which is never a good thing...

I've been using HomeWork Solutions for many years now and was originally referred to them by the nanny agency Trusting Connections. I have had only positive and professional experiences with them. Their website is easy to use and when I've called for help I've reached a real person easily without any frustrating phone trees. Plus their documentation is very clear, it's nice to be able to give my nanny a weekly paystub, and great for tax season. I would recommend them and am grateful to not have the stress of keeping track or performing these calculations myself.

Trying to handle taxes on your own with one employee in your household is extremely difficult. HomeWork Solutions has been remarkably professional yet courteous and friendly. They take away any anxiety with submitting taxes to local townships and counties, the state and the federal government. Without hesitation I would recommend them for handling taxes for a nanny or a caregiver.
