Honey's Real Dog Food Reviews 

Our puppy, Hastings (a Battersea rescue) had colitis and bad diarrhoea from when we first had him.

Honey’s raw food, in combination with some natural treatments recommended by a specialist vet, cured him completely and immediately.

He’s now 5 and in excellent health thanks to Honey’s.

I have a 15 year old pug that has been on Honey's raw food for a couple of years now and I have seen a real increase in his activity levels. George had always been a little on the porky side until he started on the raw food diet. Honey's were able to give advice on what the best food regime would be for him to lose weight but also keep all the nutrition needed for old age. George is an old gent but at a health weight now and pretty active (when he's not getting in his umpteeth nap of the day). I've never had any issues with Honey's and everyone has always been very helpful and extremely nice.

We moved to Honeys out of season working dog real dog food for our show cocker spaniel. His previous diet wasn't working for him, (it's very difficult to pick up gravy in a poo bag!). The change in every aspect of his health, appetite and appearance was transformative after we moved to Honeys ! Notably his toilet business changed massively for the better, as did his ability to digest and retain maximum food nutrition from this excellent raw food. We will never stop feeding Digby Honeys food as it works incredibly well for him.

Additionally, Honeys has a second to none focus around all animal wellbeing throughout their supply chain. The strong animal wellbeing ethos of Honeys as a business, tracking the welfare for all animals, from food source to food bowl, underlines their commitment to maintain a critical connection between canine health and diet as well as farm animal welfare. Note, this is something the Pet Food Marketing Association (PFMA) industry trade body ignore/overlook solely to appease their larger corporate members such as Mars or Nestle who are responsible for feeding the vast majority of the UK's 24m cats and dogs. This disgraceful corporate blinkered behaviour is the polar opposite of Honeys animal first ethos. As such I can't recommend them high enough. Punctual delivery, friendly and assuring I strongly recommend that as an animal lover always buy dog food from Honeys.

We were recommended to use Honey's to raw feed our dogs by one of our customers who was a vet. She was introduced to Honey's many years ago and has used them ever since. Our Weimaraner's are very fussy and very hungry. They love the DIY raw food and are both much healthier than when they were on a kibble diet. The Honey's healthcare service have checked our orders in the past and called to let us know if what we have ordered is too high in fat for our dogs - one had pancreatitis as a puppy. The service is always fantastic, they are so helpful and friendly, I couldn't recommend them enough!

An excellent company that puts high quality products and excellent customer service as their top priority. Don’t hesitate to use them. Raw food dramatically changed the health of our two dogs, give it a go and you’ll see for yourself.

I have been a Honey’s customer for years. If quality and ethical standards are important to you then this is by far the best raw food manufacturer around.

I've used Honey's previously with two of my Boxers. We haven't had a dog for over two and half years but have become pawrents to a Boxer puppy. I just knew he would love Honey's and when his first order arrived he was so excited. He eats every scrap and while you're getting it ready he's so excited jumping in mid air and spinning around. Honey's is a wonderful food to feed your pets and the company are so very helpful no matter how small your concerns area they will advise and help all they can. Thank you Honey's for making a young Boxer (12 weeks old) a very happy chappie and thank you for all your help in transitioning him onto your food (which was very easy). Quality is outstanding. I would say it is the best raw food in the market. Free-range, Organic and wild. The company cares about the suppliers and customers. Very honest company. I would say, you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

What really amazes me is that 1% of the reviews did not give 5 stars. Perhaps those people were really having a bad day, because to be absolutely honest I cannot think of one negative thing to say! If you really love your dog and are able to manage raw feeding within your time schedule, storage and budget then this food is what you give them.I have four rescue dogs who came from suspect backgrounds. One in particular came from a puppy farm in Wales, so awful that it was featured on the BBC Wales programme as one of the worst. That being said these dogs are now thriving. It was my groomer who recommended Honey's to me and her vet who recommended them to her, so you see good news travels fast and word of mouth is a great tool and an appropriate one for food!.
The food smells fresh, wholesome and one dog in particular, a bolognese had bad skin, but not any more.Also and this is just as important the staff support the customer. They are really interested and on one occasion were almost like the dog Samaritans after I had had a really awkward day with one of the dogs. To some people that might seem silly but I can assure you that it wasn't. Their website is useful, full of advice and information and the quarterly newsletter is something I look forward to with relish. The company has high ethical and environmental standards. They support charities and offer incentives to encourage donations to animal welfare causes. I recommend Honeys to people on a regular basis. Sadly some people cannot get over the word 'raw', but I can assure you that your cat or dog will not have a problem with that vocabulary. In caring for my canine friends this is probably the very best thing I have done, providing Honey's REAL dog food. Helen Watkins

I have been a customer of Honey’s for 5 years now with my female Labrador, Poppy. I have tried other raw foods over the years but Honey’s food is clearly the best! Along with their support and passion for raw diets for dogs and cats and their care for animals and the environment, I wouldn’t want to give my business to any other company

I ordered Honey’s food for my 9 month old Bouvier, as he was becoming an unmanageably picky eater, a very common breed trait.
However, from the get go, and it has been 4 days now, it has been clear bowls at every single meal.
This is highly unusual for him, and I am very impressed by not only the quality of the food, but the sheer wealth of knowledge they provided me with upon ordering.
You receive a welcome pack with free treats, a copy of the founder’s book on raw feeding and a huge variety of other information- it sounds extensive, but it’s broken down and written so well that you enjoy it,- and even a week’s free supply of food!
I know for a fact that this will be our regular food from now on. I am so unbelievably impressed!

My dog has been on Honey’s for the last six years, and I only go to the vet for his yearly jab. For the first year of his life he was getting loose stools and ear infections. I did my research into raw meat and contacted Honey’s. I have never met such a dedicated team of expert dog lovers. Their expertise and the patient way they explain things are truly unique, and My little Lhasa Apso Buddy is as happy as Larry on his Honey’s diet!! His stools are small and firm, and I have a happy and healthy dog, with a beautiful lustrous coat!!

The food is of such high quality and their ethos is amazing. I love how they buy and support small local farmers and you can tell that all they care about is the product they sell and providing the best for your pet. They will always offer advice and help even if you are not a customer. They also always have competitions going and constantly giving out prizes!! I will never go to any other dog food

I have been buying Honey’s dog food for years. It’s excellent. Empty plate every time I feed so I reckon my dogs love it too. The older one, at a blood test was found to have blood for a much younger dog and my vet loved my younger dog; healthy, fit and lean yet cuddly Turner, so much I almost lost him to her. Honey’s is a wonderful friendly company with brilliant service.
