Company masquerades as UK/NL based but returns have to go to China so exchange of items is impossible. Communication is slow and complex. Light fitting supplied is devoid of CE or UKCPA marks as required by UK law and no safety or fitting instructions supplied - fitting and pendant light are not fit for purpose. I have only received 1 of 3 lampshades bought and company are refusing to refund 100%. Now disputing transaction through bank and will report to Trading Standards as seriously worried about safety of fittings provided

Beautiful lights, well made, quality product unlike lots of others out there, they feel solid, and look very nice being metal not painted plastic

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE. It is a scam. NOT UK OR NETHERLANDS. All lies on their website. I was sold a mat which was sent crumpled and unusable. Not able to get refund, returned to their website address and told it will be returned to me and I must return to China. Constantly fobbed off with offer of 20% refund and keep this awful product. All the classic signs. So do not go near this company!!!!! Appalling quality and customer service. Scam!!!!!!

AVOID THIS COMPANY. I ordered from hoome.uk expecting the quick delivery and quality standards advertised on their website, which gave every impression of being a local business. The website featured local currency, domestic shipping timeframes, and no indication that products would ship internationally from China! Don't waste your money.

Shipped order to wrong address and since then I have been round and round in circles trying to get a refund. They offered me a refund minus 15% so they could recoup delivery costs. Had to pursue refund via bank and Paypal. Has cost me hours of frustrating admin.

Supplier misleading clients by advertising delivery to the UK in 5-8 working days and pretending to be an EU-based retailer and they are drop shipping your order from China without disclosure. If you are happy to wait weeks for your order them use them, otherwise you might as well just order from China yourself and save yourself paying for their mark-up. I haven't even tested the lights to see they are working but i am frustrated with the time it took for the order to arrive. Will test the lights in a few days time and update this review.
Update: Lights are working which is positive otherwise i don't know how a return process will pan out. Buyers beware, you could buy your own stuff directly from China, you don't need to pay for these guys mark-up. Personally, i would not have ordered it knowing it's coming from China.

Good product but a bit slow on delivery as came straight from China.

Terrible company. Poor customer service. Items significantly delayed.
Company do not let you cancel order even when items are not shipped.

In response there their reply, I emailed their support team as advised but received no reply from them.

I have only given this a one star as I cannot give them zero. I ordered from this company believing it was a UK company. I ordered an external porch light, it took a few weeks to arrive and when it did it was damaged and not fit for purpose. I have asked for a returns label and full refund and they just keep coming back with ridiculous offers. First 40% refund keep product which just needs putting in the bin. Then 60% and wave the return postage. I am now going to my credit card company to recoup the money owed. Do not touch this company, they are based in China and once you have purchased from that’s it.

Website took order then several days later announced not in stock but I could order alternative, They did not have alternative and then sent daily emails trying to avoid returns and refund. When I refused the series of alternatives to giving me my money back, they did eventually refund me. Unnecessary difficult and frustrating process which made me think they are just banking customer money and living off the interest. Avoid.

Worst experience ever. Awaiting refund details still.

Light was too difficult to assemble - even wited needed to be terminated by purchaser, missing all safety markings. Instructions were poor. Item unlikely to be safe if installed in home and most likely a fire risk.
Website made out item was from Europe, is is actually from China.
Return is looking to be incredibly complex.

Poor quality, clearly cheaply manufactured in China. Lighting wires are sub standard, could be dangerous. Delivery took over 2weeks.

I ordered two lights three weeks ago. they took my total money upfront and four days ago they said the products have been discontinued. they offered me to choose others products instead, i said i didn't want to. they offered me a full refund and it still hasnt arrived. they now say they will offer me 25% refund and to choose another product. this is a scam - noone is taking accountability and sending me the funds or talking to me. DO NOT TOUCH THEM

The delivery time was long but love the product.

The bedside lamps look nice enough and do the job, though I did expect the finish to feel a little smoother. They were easy to set up and the light is soft, so it’s still a decent buy. Delivery was on time and the packaging was neat, which I appreciated. Overall happy, but not completely wowed.
