Ordered two dresses for an occasion, one wasn't suitable but the one I kept was beautiful and I had lots of compliments.
I returned the unwanted item and didn't get a refund until I hounded the customer service team (1 person?!). I was told to wait up to 10 days. On the 10th day I emailed again and had to mention that I'd raise a dispute with PayPal due to still not having my refund. This seemed to spur them into action and as if by magic, I immediately got a refund.
I understand processing can take time but it felt very much like if I didn't chase the refund I just wouldn't have received it.
Probably won't purchase again unless I know I'm going to keep the item.

Keep well away from this company.
Product and quality was absolutely crap. I emailed them to discuss but not interested. They advertised free returns, which they do not do. Save your money and shop elsewhere all you will get is absolutely disgusting product.

I've made multiple purchases over the past 5 years from Hope and Ivy for many special occasions. Their dresses are gorgeous and someone always asks where i got the dress and friends and family have borrowed dresses multiple times. Ive also been pregnant or breastfeeding for the past 3 years and the wrap styles are perfect for a small bump and nursing and their maternity dresses are stunning also and fit perfectly at 37 weeks pregnant! I have had great experience with their customer service on a late return. The quality has always been brilliant too, ive never had any issues.

Easy to order and gorgeous dress - great quality. Sizing was accurate (I did order 2 sizes in case) and the returns process straightforward. The only thing I would have liked was a notification that they had received my return. I knew it had been delivered back by Royal Mail, but would have liked confirmation of this. Customer services were responsive when I queried this. The refund took a few days to come through, but was quicker than stated on their website. I wouldn't hesitate to order again - I'm really pleased with my beautiful dress.

This company has become my go to for quality beautiful dresses.
Not only do I love the clothes but the customer service is also excellent. The prices are very good for the standard of the clothes, also keep an eye out for their sales.

Ho ordinato un articolo chiamato “Borsa per pannolini – Organizzata e un posto sicuro per il bambino ovunque”, con la fotografia di una borsa con un'appendice a fare da lettino per il bambino.
In realtà è stata consegnata una normalissima borsa, di discutibile qualità, ma del tutto sprovvista del lettino promesso.
Immediatamente richiesta la sostituzione oppure il rimborso, ma senza ottenere alcuna risposta. Avevo pagato con PayPal ma non ho ottenuto soluzione nemmeno con PayPal che liquida a favore del fornitore dichiarando che se l'articolo è simile non può essere contestato.
Secondo questo concetto se ordino un motorino e mi consegnano una bicicletta devo accettarla in funzione del fatto che entrambe hanno due ruote.
Pessimo giudizio quindi per Ivy&Hop e, dopo più di dieci anni di utilizzo di Paypal senza problemi, provvederò alla chiusura del conto e non lo userò mai più.

I ordered an item called “Diaper Bag – Organized and a safe place for the baby anywhere,” featuring a photo of a bag with an attachment that serves as a baby bed.
In reality, I received a completely ordinary bag of questionable quality, lacking the promised bed entirely.
I immediately requested a replacement or a refund but received no response. I had paid via PayPal, yet even they offered no solution, ruling in the seller's favor by stating that if the item is "similar," it cannot be disputed.
By this logic, if I ordered a moped and they delivered a bicycle, I would have to accept it simply because both have two wheels.
I have a very poor opinion of Ivy&Hop; furthermore, after using PayPal without issues for over ten years, I intend to close my account and will never use the service again.

Bought some dresses online for an upcoming wedding and was spoilt for choice on the Hope & Ivy website. ended up wearing the Billy dress and had compliments about it all night. so felt like a million dollars. And excellent customer service and communication with the company!

I bought the Charlotte Anne dress for my nephews wedding, it’s such a lovely dress felt very comfortable in it , got lots of nice compliments, love love love it x

Treated myself to a new dress for my dad’s wedding, I ordered Sunday late pm and it arrived Wednesday, and delivery was a good price.
Dress was true to size and I got compliments all day.

Most impressive was the customer service, friendly, quick response and very helpful.

Will definitely order another dress again.

Shocking customer service, returned a dress by mistake back to them direct instead of asos , they said they couldn’t find the parcel even though I had a Royal Mail tracking receipt to say they had received the item, emailed them on numerous occasions to try and sort it out with no joy and still had to pay £90 to asos for the dress that they got delivered to there warehouse

Really helpful customer services department today. Great to be acknowledged and listened to. Very kind, understanding and supportive with my issues. Dealt with quickly and kindly.
I love Hope and Ivy’s cotton dresses and always get compliments when wearing them. Their vibrant colours and flattering shape, never fail to make me feel great! Easy to launder and good quality cotton means that they can be hung up to dry and don’t need to be ironed either! Win win all round!

The Julia is a really beautiful dress. I ordered the wrong size by mistake for a wedding. A very helpful customer service lady tracked my new order and made sure it was sent out immediately and then made sure the refund was processed asap. The correct size arrived in time. It was true to size, fitted perfectly. Lovely length(I’m a size 14 and 5’7” ) A very hot day but the dress was cool and comfortable. Lots of compliments. It was well made and lined throughout. Neck wasn’t too low and the sleeves allowed plenty of air circulation. No hesitation in recommending.

The first dress I ordered was lovely, just too low and too much fabric in the bust area and far too revealing. I'm still waiting for a refund 10 days after the returned item received back at their depot.
I should have trusted my instinct and not ordered from Hope and Ivy again but the customer service lady seems professional and explained there was no automated communication due to it being a small company.
So I was tempted by another dress with embroidery. Again it didn't fit so it had to be returned. Even if it had fitted the quality of material did look a bit cheap. Beautuful design and embroidery. Lets see if I get more luck with this return.
If tempted again I would order Hope and Ivy through John Lewis who are very reliable but I'll probably stick to brands like Boden, Whistles and Aspiga with excellent customer service.
Hope and Ivy need to realise how they manage returns will have a big impact on their future and negative reviews will impact on future sales.
I just wonder if they are in financial difficulty

I am actually sorry that I have to write a negative review since I absolutely love Hope & Ivy dresses and own several. However, this time the purchase didn’t go as smoothly as usual. The dress I have ordered and paid for has not been delivered. The shipping company claims it has but it has certainly not been delivered to me. I have signed all the documents needed for H&I to look into the matter! The customer service employee has been extremely nice but not helpful in any way and I am stuck here with no dress and no refund. Simply unacceptable 😥🤯

A special thank you to Bettina, who was incredibly helpful, responsive, and understanding throughout the whole process. She truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt listened to and supported.

The quality of the dresses is also absolutely incredible. They are beautifully made, with stunning details and such a lovely attention to quality. I was already a fan of Hope & Ivy’s beautiful designs, but this experience has definitely made me a loyal customer.

It’s rare to come across such exceptional customer service, and it really makes a difference. Thank you so much for your kindness and for the outstanding service! I will definitely be ordering from Hope & Ivy again. 💕

Extremely disappointed with the service provided! Ordered a dress it arrived and did not suit me, I’ve attempted to return via Royal Mail and it’s been returned back to me with no explanation. I can’t get hold of anyone to get a refund and also to return the item! Would not recommend this brand!

Oh my goodness, the dress I ordered is absolutely gorgeous and fits like a dream - it's even prettier than the photos and the colours are beautiful. It's good quality fabric, lined, with nice detailing and shipping was refreshingly quick. In a world of badly made imports that take weeks to come with clothing that is non-standard sizing and ill fitting, Hope & Ivy is a breath of fresh air. I think this dress is great value for money.

I ordered 4 dresses which were beautiful but unfortunately didn’t suit me so I returned them. The returns process has been extremely slow and disappointing, it’s been over 2 weeks and I still haven’t received my refund. Customer services respond quickly but it still hasn’t resulted in me receiving my money! It has put me off shopping with Hope & Ivy again!

I ordered 2 dresses in different sizes to see which one was the best fit. I have sent 1 dress back and haven’t received any acknowledgment of my return and no refund so I’m wondering if it’s been received ? Very poor communication from Hope & Ivy which would put me off ordering from them again

The dress is lovely but the material is very flimsy and cheap. Not worth the money. Turned up on time though
