I would highly recommend House Clearance Scotland, I was very time limited and feeling overwhelmed at the amount of work needed to clear out my late fathers home, but as soon as I spoke to Alfred a huge weight was lifted. He was kind, understanding and reassured me it would be no problem. Because of the very short notice he just asked for a few pictures of what was to be removed and then quoted me a very reasonable price considering how much work was involved. His team arrived on time and were very respectful and professional, they worked hard and had everything done in a couple of hours. I couldn't be there and had a family member there but Alfred kept me in loop sending photographs throughout the process. I am very grateful to Alfred and his team, I think they are genuine honest and very trustworthy. It's more than clearing a house, its clearing away stress.

After my parents passed away, clearing their house was both a physical and emotional challenge. Operatives turned up as indicated. Two guys were very pleasant and efficient. After clearing goods they hoovered up behind them leaving the rooms tidy. They did exactly as they said. Would strongly recommend this Company especially during a difficult time for our family. Great Job Guys !

Very fast response from my initial request. They visited the property the following day to give me a quote and the furniture removal happened within a week of my initial phone call.

At extremely short notice I contacted House Clearance Scotland (another company at let me down) hence short notice. Alfred was fantastic viewing the house in Auchterarder within two days of my request and arranging clearance two day later. Saved me a lot of problems. The house, garage and shed were thoroughly cleared and despite poor weather everything was left neat and tidy. Couldn’t ask for more. Would highly recommend this company.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. Albert and his team kept in touch through out the process. They did in less than a day what I think would have been days worth of work and hardship for myself and my sister. Everything was made so much easier and the fact that it’s all recycled/repurposed is a bonus.

Whilst this company’s communication and response was good, they massively inflated their quote, in my opinion to a ridiculous level and looking to exploit my circumstances. I got an English company to do a cracking job in half the time and for nearly a QUARTER of the cost Alfred quoted.

Raj was fantastic with helping us with clearing and cleaning a property. Steve and his team who helped with the clearing were also fantastic. Raj also helped to get cleaners in who were amazing and made the property look a lot better. Allan and his team did an amazing job. Couldn’t thank them all enough!

We decided on Alfred and his team to clear my father’s house after he downsized to a flat. They were brilliant and I can see why they get so many 5 star reviews. A good price, a personable approach with their clients, and an amazing result with a pristine house now ready for sale. In addition, despite me living many hundred of miles away, they kept me up to date with photos and videos via WhatsApp. Well done guys.

On the bereavement of an uncle in Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire who could be described as a hoarder we were at a bit of a loss as where to turn regarding the clearance of his house and we chanced upon House Clearance Scotland whilst browsing online. Based on very favourable reviews we decided to contact them and came into contact with Alfred (the head man and go to person) for the first time. He arranged to meet us at the property in question the next day. He's a very down to earth friendly man and after a 30 minute assessment he was able to provide us with a quote. He was very open to our questions and explained how the household items would be recycled and donated to charities where possible. Due to the extent of clutter he gave us an estimate of 2 weeks for completion of the task. The work started on Wednesday 16th July 2025 and continued into Thursday 17th the first week and then Tues/ Wed the following week i.e only 4 full days to complete the formidable task. We had frequent phone calls, photos and videos with progress. We also met the lads at the heavy end doing the hard yards who were also amazing to the extent of if they came across items of sentimental value or small stashes of cash they would let us know. We could not recommend this company highly enough. Maybe other firms would be less expensive but for peace of mind alone these people are well worth hiring. Absolutely fantastic service and we would definitely use them again if / when the occasion arises.
