• HMRC Corporation Tax UTR Letter – dated 18 August 2025, received at Hoxton Mix on 21 August 2025, scanned and uploaded to your portal the same day at 11:33am. You were notified by email immediately.
• HMRC Corporation Tax Activation Code Letter – dated 16 August 2025, received at Hoxton Mix on 20 August 2025, scanned and uploaded to your portal the same day at 14:12pm. You were notified by email immediately. (Please note: HMRC codes automatically expire after 30 days — in this case, on 18 September 2025.)
Our support system also responded promptly to your enquiries:
• On 22 August, when you first asked about missing documents, our team replied the same morning confirming the HMRC letter had been scanned and uploaded.
• On 27 August, when you enquired again, our team replied within the hour, confirming the activation code had been received and processed.
• Across subsequent messages, every query was acknowledged within business hours, often within minutes, confirming exactly what had been received and uploaded .
Further to this, on 24 September 2025, our CEO personally reached out, re-attached both letters, and explained next steps .
For clarity:
• All post we receive is processed on the same working day, usually within hours.
• Every item is barcoded, timestamped, and uploaded with a full audit trail.
• Customers are notified by email as soon as scans are available in the portal.
• The Hoxton Mix has no affiliation with HMRC or Companies House, and we cannot generate or resend codes — only HMRC can issue a replacement if one expires.
We completely understand how frustrating HMRC delays can be. But the evidence shows that all of your post was processed accurately and without delay on our side, and made available to you in your customer portal the same day it was received.
We are always happy to work with our customers to help get things rectified, but it’s important that reviews reflect the actual facts.

Necessities for New Businesses...In Hours!
Setting up a company required me to have a business address and phone number, however not physical requirements. The addresses are virtual and the business number diverts to your own phone. The address was signed off instantly and the phone number was active before midday. I started this process during my company setup on comp house just after midnight last night. I haven't used it in full effect, but I have all the confirmation, used it on other official documents, tested the business number, so for the requirements i need that this simple and quick set up has provided, and in the same speed made available for active use, I'm very confident this is going to do exactly as needed, and infact in the early months to years this will demonstrate from the start a significant efficiency boost that carries its needed longevity. I'm also using the App which gives me access to certain other services that may be beneficial to me from the off, such as business bank accounts. I believe these are separate company's but associated through the webbed criteria of necessities required for someone starting a business or company. I hope they're as easy and convenient as Hoxton.

Small glitch sorted super quick

If you were to order an item off of…
If you were to order an item off of Amazon, would expect to receive the actual item, or a scanned image of that item?
Thankfully Hoxton Mix aren’t Amazon.
When a customer has to explain to a fully grown employee of yours - after sending only a scanned image of their new Tide debit card - that they really need the physical card to make purchases, you really need to question the calibre of the staff you’re employing.
HM correctly advised me that the contract they have with Tide was a mail scan-only service, which is great, but think about it: you’re holding a customers physical debit card in your hand, a card somebody is expecting to shortly receive, would you honestly think sending an IMAGE of that card would suffice for the customer to make purchases? No, you’d send it back to Tide and ask them to send it to the customer if your contract with Tide does not stipulate you doing this yourself.
They then told me that if I wanted my physical card I’d have to pay them £1.50. I told them this was not correct as Tide send out the cards directly to the customer themselves - as they’ve always done.
Tide afterwards confirmed that I was 100% correct and they’re sending out the physical card to us. HM even tried to have this removed from Trustpilot, & Trustpilot sided with me as well.
As far as HM are concerned, customers should print out the scanned PDF image of the card & insert it into a chip and pin device when making a payment.
Yet another example of a company doing away with customer service and replacing it with people who are not paid to think - this response from them just proves that.

To clarify, you’re currently on the Virtual Office Scan Lite plan. This plan includes scanning all post and physical items, with the option to have items forwarded at the cost of Royal Mail postage plus a small processing fee.
The “Lite” in Scan Lite signifies that all items are scanned for your convenience but are not forwarded by default. In contrast, our Scan Pro plan includes both scanning and forwarding of physical items as part of the service.
We’re pleased to confirm that your bank card was posted to you free of charge, and we apologise for any misunderstanding regarding the differences between the plans.
I believe senior management has also reached out to you directly, and we’re happy to assist with any further questions or concerns.
