Complete Scam
Complete Scam. Stay away from this company. It is a fly by night marketing company which gives you a great sales pitch by a fellow named Pete. The sales pitch is "Give us 14 days, and we’ll fill your tour calendar with our hands-free enrollment marketing system.
If it doesn’t work, you don’t pay."
The scam works like this. Pete quotes a very high rate, something like $20K as a one time fee and free support thereafter. When you negotiate, the fee is reduced to $10k, but only if you sign up, then and there. I thought I was smart, so I asked for references. I was given three references from daycare owners. Two of them did not respond to my request. One guy responded and his response was, "they (Hubbli) do what we tell them".
I am an optimist so I thought, hey what is the downside? They will return the money if it does not work out. BIG MISTAKE. They will not return even if they fail to produce a single lead or tour.
The credit card was charged, and in about 10 ten, we received two leads-- both of them from Ontario, Canada. We are located in FL, U.S. Mind you we paid for the ads which had created the two leads from Canada. When we complained, we were told that it was because of a software error and we will get a refund for our ad expense and a discount of $500 for the error. The email of apology came from the CEO. The money was never refunded nor did we get a credit of $500.
Now we cannot get hold of the CEO or Pete. They have disappeared. I don't think we are the only school that they did this to. There must be a lot of pissed off customers. We received a total of 2 leads in 45 days that we were with them. The 2 leads made tour appointments but never showed up. I believe that the leads were not real potential clients, but rather ghost clients. You know what I mean.
The CEO claims that he has the IP technology worth $10B and major VC funding. Good luck to Jono Landon, the CEO. I hope he has his numbers handy for the VC funding.
