I would put zero but there's no way of do a zero review. I brought a Makita grinder that that broke down after 48 hrs from the Cambridge branch (NUFFIELD RD).Was told there would be an investigation that would take up to a week. We explained that we needed a tool to carry on working that week so we had to buy another. They called after 5 days saying that the unit was repaired and that Makita said the tool was abused and that we had broken the trigger after 6hrs of on off use over 2 days. We called Makita and they told us that they had actually said that it might be possible but unlikely. They will lie all day to avoid fair customer service. AVOID. Go to Travis Perkins

Spoke to the head of servicing at Makita Milton Keynes who told me that it wasn't their opinion that it was abused but mechanical failure and that's why they repaired it under warranty and nots Huws Grays version that it was repaired under good will.

I ordered some heavy items for delivery, just a couple of bags of cement and 4 of sand, but too heavy for us to manage.
They were delivered within 2 hours by a lovely, helpful and friendly man who unloaded them from his van and put them on the drive.
What an excellent service!!! I would recommend them to anyone who has either a small or large project.

We’ve been using Huws Gray on a cash trade account for about four months to source bulk bag aggregates for building ponds and water features. Our account is based at the Nuneaton branch, where the team are really helpful in tracking down what we need from other branches around the country that are local to our jobs. They always check in to see how deliveries went and help us get ahead with upcoming projects. Deliveries have generally been very good, though this can vary a bit by branch. Overall, they’re a pleasure to do business with, offering great national coverage and really competitive prices. Thank you Becca and co =)

Great service and product

Went into shop in Wisbech and offered special deal of £100 + VAT for 1 day hire of Lawn Aerator. Took £300 security deposit. Arrived in afternoon of next day (Friday); should have been the morning. Used for 3 hours but couldn't collect same day. Eventually collected following Tuesday. Refund of £180 expected within 3 days - but did not happen. Chased and told that refund system was down and they would do it manually whilst on the phone. Then found out that there were delivery and collection costs and a damage waiver fee. Ended up costing over £160. Not good practice and so I would avoid.

Everything was excellent from ordering online to delivery.

Bought online. Was told someone would ring back to arrange delivery. Had to ring 2 days later to find out what was happening. Branch is only down road from me. Should have rung to order. They were then delivered same day.

Happy with the product. Highly recommend.
