Very Petty and frankly not great
So we received an email from Iconic about their starter programme for PPC management. It seemed attractive and we signed up.
The staff were lovely and we set to work.
After a month or two we noticed that some campaigns were not really being serviced and had not really heard from our rep so we contacted them to look to leave.
We were told a higher package would be better and we would get an account manager who would ring us or arrange appointments every month.
We continued with this and to be fair the ACOS was not bad at all, but the sales were not increasing, we saw halloween and most of our usual sales came through.
In total though sales were down 40 per cent on the year before, so we opted to leave.
I logged into my account today and they have gone in and archived all ppc campaigns they set up completely.
That is childish and petulant, I have paid for the data for those campaigns and to have them created and set up.
To then do that simply because I opted to leave ?
Pathetic.
Honestly, I have never ever had a company act in that manner. It shows me their true colours, so I would avoid like the plague.
No matter what they do for you, they can at a moments notice archive data and work you have paid for when they throw their toys out of the pram.
Unprofessional does not even remotely cover it.
It would be like hiring someone to work on your home and you have paid them in stages, then despite having paid them upto date you decide to go with another contractor as your not happy with their work and instead they come back and remove the work you have paid for and dont refund you.
Shocking, absolutely shocking. Totally avoid them
