Friendly and knowledgeable staff and the logistics worked great!

It is 6 months since I had my procedure with Idealofmed. I consider this one of the best investments I have ever made.

I found IOM online and shortlisted them along with 6 or 7 other companies but it was my conversation with their agent Cem that put me at ease and convinced me to go with them.

They organised everything except the flights and made everything easy from transfers, hotel and the procedure itself. I had a guy called Anas look after me on the day and he made sure everything went smoothly. He was the only one who really spoke english but he was readily available during the day so it was not an issue. The procedure took about 9 hours and apart from when the anaesthetic was being administrated there was very little pain. The following day I visited the clinic for a first was and my aftercare procedures were explained to me. i flew home the day after this.

One of the most impressive things for me about IOM is the fact that each month they contact me requesting progress pics and provide an update on the progress.

I am extremely pleased with my results and I am considering returning to finish my crown area which was not possible to cover on my procedure as the focus was to get as much into the front hairline as possible (I did 4900 grafts but this was explained to me even on the initial consultation with Cem) If I do then I will only consider Idealofmed.

As someone who's worked in the hair industry for over 17 years, starting in high-end salons and eventually becoming the head of hair departments for major film and television networks like Universal, Hulu, Apple Plus, Netflix, and Disney, I'm rarely impressed when it comes to hair work. I've designed and applied high-definition wigs, studied scalp health, and understand the intricacies of hair texture and follicle distribution. So when I heard about IdealofMed at a social gathering from a friend of a friend, I was shocked to learn he’d even had a transplant. It looked that natural.

I’ve seen a lot of transplant jobs that look good in the short term but age poorly. What stood out to me about IdealofMed was the artistry in their finished work. The density, spacing, and design showed a clear understanding of how hair should grow and how it will age. It wasn’t just technical. It was thoughtful.

From the moment I booked, the experience was handled seamlessly. Every concern was met with care, and I felt genuinely listened to. I’ll admit, as I landed in Istanbul, the nerves kicked in. I started wondering if I’d made the right call. But the morning I arrived at the clinic, all of that melted away. I was met by a warm, professional team and assigned a translator and handler who stayed with me the entire time, making sure I understood each step of the process.

After a consult with Dr. H. Seffika Mayis, we mapped out the procedure together, and the medical team—Berat Ünsalan as DHI team lead, Seda, Ezgi, along with Aryan, Mesut, and Ercan—made me feel completely at ease. The numbing process is the most uncomfortable part. It’s about five minutes of sharp pinches, but it was manageable. I actually fell asleep during the extraction phase, and the implantation was so smooth I barely noticed it happening.

The follow-up care has been nothing short of exceptional. This isn’t one of those conveyor belt clinics. IdealofMed works with a very limited number of patients each day and operates out of a reputable hospital. The level of individual attention and aftercare support I received was beyond anything I expected.

Now, just two weeks post-op, I can confidently say I’m thrilled. The first three days were the roughest, but by day ten, I was feeling pretty normal again. Already, friends and family are telling me how great I look without realizing anything was done. The regrowth looks that natural.

My overall experience with the IdealofMed Clinic was great. The overall process was seamless and the procedure was done very professionally with set of well qualified doctors and nurses. I was happy with my first transplant and proceeded with the second transplant recently. Everything has been good so far.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. The team did an amazing job facilitating all required transport, lifting a weight of my shoulders given it was my first time in Istanbul. My translator Mesut went above and beyond for my service, helping me out in every step of the way to ensure I had the best transplant experience. He even went around multiple different clinics to help find a specific hair growth medication, so majorly grateful for that. The doctor and nurses were excellent, being very careful and supportive, especially during the painful moments. The whole team all around ticked all my boxes and ensured my experience was nothing short of 10/10. Also not to mention my team on the whatsapp group chat and Halim have been guiding on every step of the way, pre and post operation, ensuring everything is taken care of and answering all my questions/concerns.

Everything was seamless, from my online evaluation to my transfers, to the surgery and then the follow-up. Having Sevin as my "handler" was an excellent experience. She was patient, helpful and with me throughout the entire process.

I researched dental treatment in Türkiye for over a year I came across IdealofMeD dental treatment Initial conversation was very professional, so I knew that this was the place that I wanted to come to for my dental treatment. I had full dental implants The service I received was excellent. The knowledge of the staff, and surgeon was extremely good. They went above and beyond. The experience was very positive. The transfers to hotel and clinic were extremely good.
I had to return 6 months later for the final fitting of my new implants.
I have to say the 2 surgeon Roger and Renas that carried out my treatment were second to none. There care and attention, to how I was feeling and if I was comfortable while carrying out the treatment was perfect.
The attention to detail to create the perfect smile was extremely positive.

The operation and communication were great.
Despite a previous hair transplant, and larger remaining bald area, they were willing to do their best.

They were good with setting my expectations, and I felt I got the best result I could.

I’ve healed faster so far than my first transplant with a different company.

The donar area so far seems ok, it’s a bit early to say and will be updating in 6 months and then 12 months. But so far so good.

My recovery has been great, the instructions have been clear post op.

Hello, I wanted to write a review which is as accurate as possible. It been 11 months since my transplant. I started loosing hair from my crown area in my early 30s, the hair fall was not very drastic, during the later phases I use to use Topik hair building fibers to hide my baldness. The temples started receding slowly and the front portion also started thining a bit, I used to use minoxidil, I used it in phases for a few months for years. My hair is silky and straight, so it would naturally fall on the forehead and with the combination of Topik around my crown area, I could get by. Finally at 50, I took a decision to go for a transplant, I researched clinics in US, India and Turkey. Turkey being the world capital of Hair Transplant then became and obvious choice. I short listed about 20-25 clinics across turkey, i spoke to about 10-12 of them, I was relying on reviews and trying to read genuine reviews. IdealOfMed I must admit was not easy to find, reviews on the internet helped me zero in, their representative on the phone, Cem, who was a well spoken guy helped me to understand the process, I was asked to send pictures of my head in different angle. I was around the stage 4 of baldness and the decision we came to was to get 5000 grafts (each graft could have one hair or multiple hairs).iOM helped me get my visa done (I was traveling from the US). The package I chose was the Standard package it costed me €3460, because I added on two extra persons (one companion is free but I had my grown up kids traveling with me).

Day 1 - we landed in Istanbul and were taken to the Hotel, we had a pick up organized by the clinic. After the hotel (a decent 4 star comfortable property), I went to the clinic for an initial assessment and for some blood work, we basically discussed the design of the transplant, my hair texture is very silky meaning which each hair is very thin and straight (people with thicker hair would perhaps be able to cover a larger area perhaps). I decided that I want more focus on the temples and the front and top of the head (even though my crown needed most of the grafts but I decided I would work with fillers like Topik if I needed to). Before the surgery I was greeted by the host who could speak fluent English and she was there to translate because the technicians did not speak English very well.
A quick shave of my head and I was taken to a room with a massage style bed, the technician who worked on me (Sefika and team). The most painful part of the procedure is the anthesia injection they use on the donor area and the recipient area. The pricking is not that bad but right afterwards the injected area has stinging pain, well we just need to man up for this part. Post which the procedure started I was dozing in and out through out the duration of the procedure. When the grafts were out, we took a little break, the technician had a brief review of what we discussed, it was told to me 5400 grafts were successful taken out (there is no way of counting this, we just have to trust the process), I was asked if I wanted to change my hair line, I said no! just follow my natural hairline pattern. The procedure lasted about 7 hours and I could see that there were 3 technicians working on me at a time. I felt pretty stable they covered the donor area with bandages and I was advised to sleep straight and was given a neck pillow, some antibiotics were also given, hair vitamins, shampoo (two different kinds were supplied).
So from the time I landed, checked in to the hotel, had the procedure done and after one days break (it was a three day package, on the final day you could explore Istanbul if you wished) everything worked as clock work. I was falling their instructions to the T, on the 10th day of surgery I was advised to wash out the scabs. I was advised not to indulge in any sporting activity, heavy lifting or from doing anything which could cause excess sweating. By the was, the distribution of the grafts from the 5400 as 2800 was implanted on the front hairline, 1200 on the top of the head and 1400 on the crown.
Exactly like they instructed, I went through every stage, shredding happened after the first month continued till 3-4 month and then I could see the transplanted hair growing. They were monitoring on what’s app every month like clock work by asking for pictures. At month 11 my hairline and top of the head is completely full of hair, the crown area still has bald patch but 50% reduced and apparently it takes about 18 months for the crown area to get to the potential result.
I was advised to use minoxidil, finasteride, and the vitamins they supplied which I am doing religiously. I would give a 5 on 5 stars for this experience. The only advise I would have for them is to make the vitamins easily available to be couriered abroad

IdealOfMed have been great. Overall experience is fantastic. I’ve had 2 hair transplants. After the first one my hair wasn’t shedding (almost), I believe it’s due to medication and recommended hair treatments unlike other clinics as per what I’ve been seeing online. 10/10 experience and really good and fair price. I’m lucky I found them one day.

I likes that everything was planned good, and everything was subtle. My operation went good and I don’t have any complaints
